"We enjoyed working with them. They did a good job. The owner is very communicative. If I send an email he is extremely responsive. The only issue we had with the landscape project was the job took longer than it was supposed to, it ended up taking a couple of months. We really like the work they did. In the future I would be more clear about expectations regarding time.show more

"The crew did an excellent job, matching and building a step down to flow smoothly into the existing patio. To top it off, they edged the old and new patio in brick which tied it beautifully together. It has made our back yard much more inviting and fun to use. <br /> <br />The crew had to move a few plants for the job but put things back in appropriate places and took care to clean up after themselves when the job was finished. We had a few things to pick up but much less than we have had in the past with other contractors. <br /> <br />Matt has a good eye for design and tying it all together. "Of the three vendors contacted, Red Mountain was the most responsive and easily understood and grasped the requirements as presented by our design review board. The project required a conversion from ten foot wide entrance to a sixteen foot wide entrance, and, and because of the inside grade and limited space for outward swing, folded leaves were required.&nbsp; <br /> Red Mountain quickly submitted several hand-drawn designs for the Design Review Board to examine. I mention this because the other vendors presented stock designs that did not exactly match our needs. Once the bid was accepted, we were given an approximate finish time. They are a small company and in high demand, and it took a few weeks before they could complete the project.&nbsp; <br /> The finished product was well- beyond our expectations; a hand forged work of art that was true to the accepted design, but with flourishes and detail that one would not expect from a modern company. &nbsp;The crew at Red Mountain Iron are true artisans, and I can't imagine that I will use any other company for future work. <br /> <br /> <br />show more
