I have been living in my 800 sq foot two-bedroom apartment for five years, and even though it was a small space and I had some systems of organization, I always felt so overwhelmed when I tried to tidy up. I felt like I needed a complete overhaul and fine-tuning of my space. From my initial consultation with Julia, I knew she was going to be the right choice for the job. She was immediately reassuring that she has experience working with individuals with a wide range of functioning and ability. We worked to find the right space for every item in my house that would make it easy to use and put back. There are countless examples where she had the solution. There were suggestions she made that I was resistant to until I gave them a try and lived with them, seeing that they worked well. There were also some misses—solutions that did not work. What makes Julia special is that she checks in on her next visit and works with you on an adjustment to ensure that what you need works out. We went drawer by drawer, closet to closet, and finally finished in the garage. Throughout the process, Julia was incredibly professional. She took the time to listen to my needs and goals, ensuring that the organization would serve my lifestyle. I appreciated the supportive and non-judgmental environment she created. I felt comfortable sharing my challenges, and she offered encouragement and advice that made the process enjoyable. Julia goes above and beyond to make sure you succeed. We did not just clean the fridge; we identified why I waste food and where and how it can be stored so I am most likely to cook and eat what I purchase. She is as capable of aesthetically arranging objects—as we did when we decorated a bookshelf together—as she is utilizing what containers I owned, such as take-out boxes, as makeshift drawer organizers. The end result is beyond what I imagined! I now have an organized space that not only looks great but also makes my daily routines much easier. Julia's skill in interior design truly enhanced this experience, making my home both functional and beautiful.
