Description of Work: Mr. Hoppe came out and gave me a fair and reasonable estimate to have a very large box elder cut down from my property. He was very professional and described in great detail how it would work.

Description of Work: spraying of fruit trees, treatment for ash borer and limb trimming.

Description of Work: We had a large polar tree (a cottonwood) removed that had grown so quickly it was killing off our older shade trees by over shading them. It also dropped enormous amounts of sap onto our cars when they were parked in the driveway that was difficult to remove. We weren't sad to see it go... Hoppe's dropped it very quickly, safely and neatly - which for a tree over 50 feet tall was much appreciated. They also ground down the stump into wood chips. We saved some money by having them do it in the off season - which made no difference to us.

Description of Work: Tree removal (2) today - quick, polite, cleaned up upon completion of project. Always a pleasure to work with them. They planted a tree for me a few years ago and it has been doing great. Will be planting two more this spring. Always guides tree choices based on my preferences and needs.

Description of Work: After checking with other tree services I decided to call Hoppe. I wanted a tree removed from my backyard. The tree was a little over two stories high and the yard at that point was fairly narrow. Two garages and the house all came into play. I talked with the representative of Hoppe and felt that this was the company I wanted to do the job. He was confident about doing the job and quoted a price that I considered to be fair. We set a date for getting the work done and the crew was on time. They quickly did the job without any any incident or damage. They removed the stump and ground it down so that it can be a useful space in the future. Lastly, they cleaned up all the mess so that there was nothing left behind that needed to be done. These guys are professionals and they acted like it. I would certainly hire or recommend them .

Description of Work: Hoppe Tree Service is one of the best contractors we have ever worked with. We went with them mainly because of the reviews on Angie's List. Fred's pricing seemed very fair up front but after seeing the fabulous work they did it was a great deal! They went beyond my expectations working around Christmas decorations and leaving the property look like they had not been there. Hoppe Tree Service crews are the best!

Description of Work: I have used Hoppe a number of times over the years for tree removal. This summer they removed a tree that fell in one of our big storms. Despite how busy they were, they came out in a timely manner and did the work quickly, stuck with their estimate and cleaned up nicely. Well-run business.

Description of Work: I called them to first remove a tree stump at my Dad's house. They did exactly what we needed. Came within a week after estimate. Very nice job of clean up. Removed all the debre at just a little higher cost but that is what we wanted, asked for and got. He then came over to my house about 3 weeks later on 5/6/2011 did a major prune top to bottom of of our 2 story greenspire linden. They made some great suggestions on what it needed. It looks great. Got rid of all debre The only way you could tell they had been here was the missing branches on the tree. When I asked if anyone needed to be home he said you might want to be we are fun watch but not necessary. When I asked could he add the removal of a medium sized tree from the side of the house he said that would just be and appetizer. I liked his sense of humor and felt completely at ease after meeting them and was not disappointed. If you have tree work Hoppe is who you should call.

Description of Work: They gave me an estimate over the phone. They cleaned house and garage gutters. They told me they would would clean the gutters sometime during the next week. They said I did not have to be home when they were working. They came to clean my gutters about 2 days after I called. I was not home when they arrived, but I got home while they were cleaning up to go. They found and removed nests in two of my gutters.
