He is excellent and is very reasonably priced for what he does. He is very safety conscious and really cleans up very well every time after he is done. He also gives very good advice. We have used him several times over the last 4 or 5 years. He is very careful with my flowers and bushes. I would say he is top notch.

Her customer relations is remarkable. She does extensive planning and explains everything to you. She will make suggestions which way to go And has lots of tips for travel. We are using her at this time for another trip.

The job went very well. All my requested services were done completely and neatly. The cleanup was much better than I had expected, and no damage was down to the lawn in performing the work. The final cost was almost exactly the price I was quoted. August Hoppe is very knowledgeable and straight forward. I would definitely use his service again.

They did a very good job and were fascinating to watch. They were punctual, within the estimate they provided and I liked them a lot.

Hoppe was very informative when I asked them questions, and they took their time in explaining things. I felt comfortable that they were not doing anything more then they had to. I loved the fact that they were all certified arborists.

The trees they transplanted died. I called them and they were responsive in coming back. I am not happy with the results of their work. The summer help is young and not had the training they need to do any transplanting. I would not recommend them.

From the very beginning to the job's end, this is a class A+ family operation that won't let you down in any way. Their communications are excellent. Their reliability is even better. The frosting on the cake here is their actual work! Never mind that they are all approachable, very pleasant to work with and exhibit fantastic, appreciative attitudes. These are very meticulously hard working honest people with good old fashioned work ethics. They showed up early on the day agreed to. Dean the father of sons August & Fred Hoppe (owners) were very flexible as I had found last minute things I had wanted them to accomplish like lopping branches off to have a cleaner looking property. Thats why the estimate was somewhat higher but agreed to (i.e. no surprises). They fully cleaned up afterwords (gigantic bonus). They had fully coordinated with W.E. Energies who had temporarily disconnected and reconnected my home's electrical service lines before and after the tree pruning for safety. This was seamless! In short, hire these people without any hesitation. You get what you pay for in this case. Excellence.

The experience was really good. They showed up on time and did the work on time. I would hire them again and recommend them to other people as well.

August Hoppe came out within the week. He said that we probably have an infestation and he could do some pesticides, etc. He didn't recommend that, though because he said it would be expensive and may not work. He said the best thing would be to take the tree out. He left me with a list of trees that would complement the trees in the neighborhood, would withstand the Wisconsin winter and would flower nicely in the spring. I called around to price other nurseries in my area. They wanted $450 just for the tree! I called August back a week later and told him to take out the plum tree and put in a pink magnolia. They were booked out for 3 weeks, but we scheduled for them to come out. We were out of town when they came, but when we returned, the tree was gone and our new magnolia is in its place. While they were here, two of my neighbors talked with them and had them remove trees from their yards, too! They were happy with the service and the price.

They are very quick and efficient. They are dedicated to the neighborhood. They are a family owned business. They have a understanding of trees that go beyond just cutting limbs and pruning them. They seem to really care for the trees. I would recommend them to others.

They came out in a timely manner to give a quote, they are also very responsive and call back to let us know what they are going to do. They also call to let me know that they are coming. Also do a nice job cleaning up when they trim the trees. I believe they are doing a good job on the disease control because my trees look a lot better. They also leave a receipt to let me know what they did per visit.

I was very pleased with their service, professional and pricing. August was prompt in delivering a quote (on the spot!), the team was quick, neat and did a fantastic job on the tree trimming. I couldn't be more satisfied and would highly recommend this company for tree removal and tree trimming.

We hired Hoppe Tree Service to remove a tree and grind the stump. Estimate was performed quickly and accurately, customer service during day of removal was excellent. Would refer to friends in a heartbeat! Thank you!

August stopped by, gave me the estimate and when I called to accept the estimate a few days later, they set the date for work. They arrived while I was at the office and by the time I got home, the ugly trees were gone, stump ground and tree trimmed. No wood chips or debris was left behind and the stump ground completely. It was fantastic! Originally I wanted to remove the ash tree (which would have cost a lot of money). August explained that it was not necessary to kill the tree and believed they could trim it to bring it back to life. He was absolutely correct!

I called Hoppe first thing on a Monday morning, and they were able to remove the tree by that afternoon. As usual, they were friendly and professional. I rate them (once again) very highly, but since I did not obtain quotes from any other companies, I opted to not rate the price. The price we paid did include the 10% Angie's List discount.

The service from start to finish was excellent. I emailed them and within 24 hours they responded. All my communications whether on phone or e-mail were excellent. August Hoppe came out to give me an estimate and was very thorough in inspecting the trees and answering my questions. The work crew was extremely polite, careful of other plantings and had the latest tree removal equipment. Despite snow on the ground and a fence to contend with, the clean-up was immaculate.I can't wait until the trees leaf out so I can truly enjoy what they did.
