It went very good they were professional and they came when they said they would and they didn't make a mess and I would recommend him to others and I found them on Angie's List.

Bob phoned back a couple days after I left a message seeking an estimate. He was able to meet me early in the morning before work, which I really appreciated. His estimate was on the lower end of 4 estimates we received. We agreed that he would perform the work primarily while we were away on a weeks vacation. The job ended up taking a couple days longer than estimated. For the most part the quality of work was good. However the rounded corner work although acceptable, could have been completed a little better. We had originally agreed that Bob would use one technique to finish the rounded corner (2 sheets of 1/4" thick drywall) but instead he used a different approach. (1 sheet of 1/2" thick) This approach left a very broken bend around the corner. To remedy this, many coats of drywall compound were applied. Although it's not obvious to visitors in our home, the corner is wavy and doesn't merge real well into the straight walls on either side of it. (it's acceptable) The other disappointing thing that occurred is the subwoofer cable for our home entertainment center fell victim to Bob's sander. (I'll have to pull a new one through the walls and attic) Finally, Bob did not always show up when he said he would. A couple times he arrived several hours later than he planned. Overall, Bob was courteous and trustworthy, kept a reasonably clean job site and left our home in good condition.

Bob Wilcox was able to start the work within a week of providing us an estimate. Even though it was a holiday weekend he worked a couple hours each day over the weekend and finished the job (without rushing) in 5 days. As a bonus he made a long wall crack disappear with a skim coat. His last day (after sanding) he did a light cleanup. This left us with a nice looking ceiling, but a little more cleanup than we would have liked.

Bob came over almost every day and even some weekends and was very diligent. We have 3 cats and he was sure to make sure they they were not exposed to the dust, etc. Bob is a perfectionist and made sure the job turned out to our satisfaction. He is very outgoing and friendly so it was a pleasure having him do all the work he did. We would highly recommend him, he is very thorough and always follows up.

The skim coat was very even and smooth. Bob applied fiberglass cloth to the ceilings first and then followed up with several coats of dry wall compound. Bob waited one to several days for the drywall compound to dry before applying the next coat. The last coat was sanded with a power sander. The patch on the wall blended in well with the texture finish. Bob let us know that he does not clean up the dust from the sanding. We cleaned up ourselves. Clean-up was more work than we anticipated.

Bob did great work. He came out and gave us an estimate and detailed the amount of work to be done. He removed the damaged section and replaced it. He's a perfectionist and worked until it was done to his satisfaction. He obviously cares a lot about his work, and the finished product was just what we needed.

Bob came quite a distance to do an estimate, then another trip to do measurements, and then MANY trips to install the drywall and create the finished product. It took a couple of weeks overall with some days off here and there. He did a very thorough job and I'm pleased with it. He was not familiar with some of the newer drywall products my husband requested that he use. So, there was a little hesitation in having him do the work. But, I'm glad we hired him anyway.

Bob is wonderful. A true perfectionist. Came and gave an estimate in a very timely manner which was below another bid. Started job shortly thereafter. The walls are beautiful. You can't tell that work was done-looks like part of the original house. Took about 2+ weeks to finish the job as he was working on a few jobs at the same time, but the end result is beautiful. On top of it all, he is a very nice guy. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

Bob's bid was not the lowest of the eight received but we could tell when we interviewed Bob that he was the best in the business. Bob enjoys what he does and loves the "art" of drywall. Bob has been in the business for 30+ years, knows much about construction, and is eager to teach anyone interested in learning. Bob encountered many hurdles blending the large addition with our 1936 home but he did such a beautiful job, you can't even tell what the house looked like initially. He also spent much time perfecting mistakes made by the carpenters whose structure he covered. Bob has a strong work ethic, often working 7 days a week He is very conscientious and has a tremendous amount of pride in his work. He is comfortable to have at your home and seems more like a friend yet is very professional. Bob has spent much more time at our house than we expected but did not charge us above his estimate. He is a true perfectionist and artist, not finished with the job until he is satisfied.

This was a roof leak repair. He did a great job, very good price, and all around service.

My walls are beautiful. They have altered the look of the kitchen. Bob walked me through the process before doing the work. I knew exactly what to expect before he stared, and he stayed within the quote he gave me. I was extremely pleased.

Bob did a great job. He was pleasant, down to business, and delivered a good quality job.

Initially he said he would have no problem with the job. I have received no fax for the job or a quote over the phone. I cannot get him on the phone. It is a larger job and if he is not interested a call to say that he could not do it would be nice. He should have indicated right away if he could not do the job.

Bob was able to flex his schedule enough to begin work once we were ready. (We are doing most of the work ourselves.) He would notify us of his schedule and work with us when needed to accommodate our schedules. He was pleasant, polite, and did very high quality work.

I WOULD RECOMMENDED BOB TO ANYONE. HIS WORKMANSHIP AND PROFESSIONALISM WAS GREAT. HE WAS DRIVEN TO ACCOMPLISH A GREAT FINISHED PRODUCT.

CALLED AND LEFT MESSAGE AND I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK.

BOB WAS EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE WAS GOING TO WORK ON. HE ALSO TOOK THE EXTRA TIME TO DO THE FINISH WORK RIGHT. THE END RESULT WAS A BEAUTIFUL FINISHED SET OF WALLS. I WILL HIRE HIM AGAIN TO DO ANY OTHER DRYWALL WORK. I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED HIM TO MY FRIENDS.

I'VE HIRED BOB FOR TWO RENOVATION JOBS AND REFERRED HIM TO A FRIEND FOR ANOTHER. ALWAYS DOES VERY GOOD QUALITY WORK AT A FAIRLY REASONABLE PRICE.
