Mad City Windows & Baths

I was told that I would be compensated for my 5 star review so that is what I did, but I did not receive my compensation so here is my real review. The installation crew were respectful, friendly, pleasant and efficient. I purchased 7 windows and all of the 7 windows are defective. I called madcity windows and told them about the safety issues. They sent someone out to look at the windows and told me exactly what I already told them. Weeks and weeks later another representative comes out to fix the 7 windows but states that his work order only shows one window. Clearly, there was a lack of communication/effort that was given for my situation even though i stated in my initial call to madcity that all 7 windows were defective. After looking at the windows the madcity representative states hes not sure what is wrong with the windows and that they work fine after he struggled for several mintues just to get them to close. All of the windows are suppose to have a lifetime warranty, I guess they give that out for all of the faulty windows that they are having installed. As I rewrite my previous review, you guessed it, I still have 7 defective windows that I'm paying for and not sure when they will be fixed. I am truly disappointed with the level of customer service from madcity windows after they received my money. No one should have to pay for faulty windows and left not knowing when the problem will be fixed. Especially when its a matter of safety. I suggest finding a local business in your area instead. It might save you some time, money, worry and headache.

Had a really great experience with Mad City Windows. Initial consulation went great, and they were really flexible in putting together quotes for our budgetary constraints. They kept us informed every step of the way, and the installation of the new sliding glass door was quick and painless. The quality of the door is excellent-we have already noticed an improvement in temperature regulation the area of the house by the new door.

They did am awesome job with our new walk in shower. The only thing was not having the ceiling panel in the work order. I was told by the sales person it was part of the price we paid.

I called wanting to get a quote on some windows for my house. After I submitted a request online to get a quote, someone from the office was calling me within 10 minutes to set up an appointment to come meet with my husband and myself. The salesman that came to our house was very professional and respectful. He measured our windows and even helped us save some money by suggesting some products that would save us a little money. Next step in the process was that they would come and measure the windows so they could custom build our windows. That only took about an hour and they also were very respectful of our property both inside and outside the home. After they called me stating that our windows were ready for installation (which was only about 4 weeks) we set up a time for them to come and replace our windows. They arrived in the window of time stated, they got right to work and had everything completed and cleaned up in about 3 hours. This time we only had our living room and kitchen window replaced. They obtained all the permits necessary for the project and were very efficient in their installation processes. I would definitely recommend them because the process was so easy and quickly completed!! Thank you Mad City Windows!!

Everything was wonderful. 10/10 would recommend and hire again if needed. Professional, courteous, on time. A pleasure to work with.

At the end of the day we are happy with our shower installation. There was an initial issue with the original install but Mad City took responsibility and re-installed our shower. It was nice to see a business take ownership of problems.

We recently had our 1963 bathroom tub and surround updated. They completed the work within 5 to 6 hours arrived on time and got done early. Everything appears to look great. - Jon Swenson

Mad City is such an easy company to work with. They answer and return calls quickly. Flexible scheduling. If there is an issue, they work to get it resolved quickly.

We've had both of our bathroom remodels completed by Mad City. Excellent work, no problems or issues whatsoever. Both were done in a timely manner with absolutely no cleanup needed to be completed by us. We would highly recommend Mad City to anyone looking into bathroom remodels.

The installers seemed to have done a good job. They were extremely fast, only taking one day to completely gut and install the new shower system. Although, one handrail was installed on the wrong side. To correct the issue, they came back the next day to install another free handrail on the correct side. The only complaints that I have are the shower wand sprayed black water for about 30 seconds then stopped working. I removed the wand and the water flowed properly from the pipe. I replaced the “new” wand with my old shower head so we could use the shower. My only other complaint is that my water pressure is about half of what it was before the installation. Since I had to replace the shower head with my original one, I had a good baseline for this comparison. All in all, we’re happy with our new walk-in shower.

Good communication, excellent craftsmanship. Cleaned up after they were done and it was installed in one day. Would recommend.

I would recommend mad city windows. They did a great job at installing my new windows that I love, they have cut my energy bills greatly. Also Josh was very helpful w helping me moving my plants during winter time. He also was very nice and worked steady until the job was complete. Thank you mad city windows.

We used Mad City to completely redo our 50 year old bathtub and shower in January 2024. The installer that came to our house was polite, extremely fast (two days to completely gut and install the new shower system) and did quality work. Its been a several months since our new walk-in shower was installed. Its still holding up wonderfully and is easy to clean. We've gotten many compliments on it. The customer service has been incredible as well. Its nice to have a local office I can go visit in person, in addition to having a phone line to call. Their prices were also affordable compared to other estimates we had received prior to working with Mad City. Very pleased.

The representative was prompt and professional. He made sure we understood everything. The two men that did the work were amazing.

Replaced a huge 5 pane bow window. They managed to get the replacement done in between snow storms and kept the opening to the cold to a minimum. The finish work on the trim and window seat was well done. Called to have them come back this summer to caulk a few places that weren't able to be done in the winter. Arrived early and done quickly. Window is beautiful.

I went with kitchen cabinet refacing and doors. I am super glad I did! These guys blew me away with a updated kitchen that I am proud to cook in. When I do another update to my house I would consider Mad City for my future needs.

From first contact, this entire operation went very smooth. From the initial discussion of our needs and wants to the team that measured out the installs to the team that came and performed the work. All were professional, courteous and mindful of our home. I would not hesitate to give them a shout when we have another project. Highly recommend

Martin from Mad City did an outstanding job with our shower re-furbish. His wok was meticulous with attention to quality and one of the most polite people I have ever met. The demo was more extensive but he never complained and the final product amazed us completely. Ask for him, he is a real winner who I would rate a ten if I could. Mad City did a beautiful job enlarging a small shower space, making it larger and more easily accessible. The job was done on time, doing all clean up themselves, leaving nothing to the homeowner. The person doing the job was courteous with minimal disruption to the those in the house. We highly recommend Mad City Windows & Baths. You will not be disappointed.
