Mad City Windows & Baths

I felt like Mad City Windows gave me a good price and provided efficient service. They were good communicators and provided a follow up visit to remedy a couple issues.

While everything was not perfect, we would recommend Mad City Baths. There were a few issues that could have been avoided if they would have sent the installer along with the gentleman who did the measurements. They did correct everything and were very nice about it. Overall we would give them a rating of 8 out of 10.

I recently had a shower replacement and couldn’t be happier with the job mad city had done. They were very friendly and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Would highly recommend.

The windows are beautiful and function well. Also, installation was quick and they cleaned up any mess well.

We had shopped around and received a great deal on price working with mad city. The sales man who came over was knowledgeable and non abrasive. The installation crew were prompt. Spoke kindly, worked swiftly and cleaned up after themselves. They did s really nice job with the installation. The only challenge I had was 1 window wasn’t sent by the manufacturer and so they had to reset the installation by a few weeks, however it worked well for my schedule so all worked out. The receptionist was kind and very accommodating to inform me of the delay. Overall- 4 of 5 I will recommend to others

We had our bath/shower done. The installers were very friendly, but we had caulking issues right away. Their service guys came out and ended up damaging the window trim when he was supposed to be fixing the caulking. We had to do another service ticket to come out and replace the lower trim piece. Same service guy came out and replaced it. We waited the 24 hours for caulk to cure, noticed it was still soft. Waited until the next morning (now 36 hours total) and when we took a shower, the caulk got runny like wet paint. Did another service ticket and complained about it. Got a call and was told caulk takes a good week to harden completely. I said it has been several days and it is like wet paint, I could tell he used the wrong caulk, also the caulk he used outside the surround was GE Silicone caulk you buy at the local box stores. I complained about that, that it wasn't their caulk that they have the patent on. We said we did not want that service guy back in our house. Every time we filled out a service ticket I would put to contact me between 3:00-5:00 PM. Every time they called was about 9:00 AM. Why even bother putting a time frame down if they don't pay attention to it. When he did call and we said we didn't want same guy back, that was a Thursday morning, I finally had to submit another service ticket over the weekend because he never called back like he was going to do after checking their schedule. I ended up getting someone from the Madison area to come to the Milwaukee area to fix the problem. I asked him about the shower walls according to the brochure were supposed to extend past the tub and down to the floor. The installers didn't do that and said it wasn't necessary. Come to find out this was wrong and it should have "legs" that go down to the floor. This will be another call to Mad City to fix. This will be the 5th time we will have to be out of a shower while we wait for caulk to cure.

After having several plumbers tell us that they couldn't do our bathroom the way we wanted, we called Mad City and asked them to come out and take a look. The salesman, Joe, was fantastic. He listened to what we wanted and gave us options within our budget. Of course, he wanted to close the deal that night, he's a salesman, that's his job, but we never felt that he was overly pushy. On the day of the install, it was rainy and an overall crappy day. I was worried that would impact the install, but they were on time (early in fact), professional and very friendly. They kept me informed throughout the day and went over and above to line up the new "tile" look liner with the existing porcelain tile on the bathroom walls. They did an excellent job cleaning up afterward and we are all so happy with the new bathroom! We would highly recommend Mad City. Their prices were only a small amount higher than what we had been quoted by two plumbers, and for the service and one day installation it was totally worth that little bit extra.

Most of it was good. except the ceiling piece does not line up with one of the sides by an obvious 1/4 inch ! That's not a professional job. and my walls got gauged a few times which can be repaired. Price is too high. As they all are. Service from all team members was good.

I had a walk in shower installed. They estimated 2 days, but was done in one day. YAY! I did find an issue after they left and they came back and fixed and for my trouble installed a handrail I originally declined, but really wanted after using. I LOVE my walk in shower

They removed the old bath tub,then made a upgrade in the plumbing. They did a nice quality job installing the new shower installment and did a nice job cleaning up,and went over everything with us before leaving,very professional!

My wife and I are very happy with the walk in shower installed by Mad City. Our house is old and very unlevel. There was even rotting in the walls surrounding our old shower. The workers corrected all the existing issues and installed a wonderful new shower. They put a decorative header above the shower to make it have a more level appearance. The men were very personable and professional. The work was a challenge for them with the age and condition of our bathroom but they took the time to make it beautiful and took care of all the problems. We highly recommend Mad City

The in-home visit and demonstration was very impressive, with a knowledgeable and friendly person. The next step was the person who came to do the measurements, and he was equally friendly and professional. The windows were ready for installation within the estimated time frame they had given me. Then the actual install went very well. The crew arrived a bit early (which threw me a little as I was still taking down window treatments) but they helped me complete that. There were three in the crew, and they were obviously experienced and skillful. The entire process took about 6 hours which was less than I had expected. The windows and door are beautiful, function extremely well, and have improved the value of my condo. I'm waiting to see if they will help reduce my energy bills as promised. The crew could not have been friendlier or more respectful of me and my property, and they cleaned up after themselves in a very efficient manner. All in all, I am very happy with my decision to go with Mad City Windows!

Beginning with the sales person and right on through the installation, we were very pleased with the process. We are extremely pleased with our new windows, and they give us a beautiful view to the outside.

We were very happy with our experience with MAD City. The workers arrived on time and as scheduled. They worked as a team through the day without having constant coffee breaks. They actually worked! They were friendly and kept working as they talked with us. We were pleased. Thank you!

My experience w/ Mad City was extremely frustrating & very stressful. The salesman told us of all the little extras (i.e. remounting exterior lights, downspouts, porch railings etc.) that their siding crew (4-6 people) provided with the bid. This turned out to be untrue (extra charges) which led to later conflicts w/ the siding crew (2 people) & the field supervisor. Make sure you get "everything in writing". The job was to be completed in 4-5 days. It took 13 days (Sunday excluded) to finish. They were pulled off my job for 3 days to do another job & a 4th day missed due to lack of materials to finish. Original & excess materials for the job sat on my patio for a total of 24 days before being picked up. I notified management that I was unhappy w/ the 'wavy' look of the front & rear gable trim. They tried to convince me that there was nothing they could do as it was my 'roof line'. After 2 weeks of arguing back & forth, they agreed to have it redone. 10 days later the trim was replaced by a different siding crew & now looks good. Be very wary if you decide to go w/ Mad City.

They were prompt, efficient and cleaned up well. They have honored our warranty with no questions asked. We are happy customers.

Thanks to Mad City Bath for redoing bathroom. They changed our very small vintage baby blue walk in shower to a full tub/shower with microban. The sales team did a great job figuring out what we needed and putting together a quote. The install team was very knowledgeable. They were careful not to get the rest of the house dirty while they had to blow out a wall to make room for the new tub. They did a great two day job!

They came out, measured and scheduled within a month. They double checked date and time twice, then had to delay as job ahead of us had major structural issues. Allowed 3 hours for our job, did it in one. Very clean pick up, very complete explanation of what they did as I asked. This is a high quality product, tough enough for our use, very solid. You pay for what you get, though. The warranty is lifetime for us AND whomever eventually purchases our home.

Job was completed in one day and shower was ready to use. Great service and I would recommend Mad City to any one wanting to remodel a bath.

I could not be happier with Mad City Glass and their team. Not only did they work hard to get us a price that we could afford but they did it in a timely fashion. There sales and window team were professional and friendly. The window team went above and beyond there expectations when they discovered a bees nest in the wall that they were building a window around and helped to get rid of them even though they had gotten stung more than once. Thank you to Mad City Glass we no longer have to deal with black mold or ugly shaker porch doors. Thanks Mad City!

The services were explained professionally, the quality of the materials and workmanship were exactly what we expected. The installers were done in one day and did a great job.

We purchased a walk-in shower with safety bars and a bench from Md City, as well as two large windows for our living room. From our sales rep Cory to the bathroom install guys to the window installer, everyone at Mad City was so helpful and friendly. Both projects were done within the 6 week time frame we were given when we ordered, and both were done in a day - the window installer even came on a Saturday morning because he had gotten held up on a job the previous day and didn't want us to have to wait another week for our windows! All of the installers were friendly and fast, and they left our home cleaner than it was when they got here! Our new shower is AMAZING and has made caring for my elderly mom so much easier and safer, and the windows are great. Pricey, yes, but you get what you pay for and these are great quality products!

They replaced a picture window with another picture window with sliders. It is a wonderful window. They even replaced a rotten sill at no charge. Then they replaced 2 regular windows with 2 wonderful windows. They did a wonderful job.

Overall, very happy we went with Mad City. Window is tremendous and fit was perfect. Install team was late to site (due to long drive time) but finished the job as scheduled. We lost a bush in our garden due to equipment set up.
