Mad City Windows & Baths

Had a new walk in shower with safety bars,shelves corner seat and a shower rain head.The husband and wife team were very professional and personable and explained as they installed what they were doing . The cleanup after was great .It only took a day.

We had all of our windows replaced by Mad City Windows. This is my review of the process. Salesman visit. It is a high pressure sales pitch with “gadgets” to show the performance of the window. I didn’t like that my wife and myself needed to be there for the sales pitch. But the want both there to sign right there and now. Said things like offer only good today, end of year closeout, called manager to get the best price, etc. My advice, get other quotes before you call them so you can compare. I had other quotes and decided for the quality of the window they offer, I negotiated a fair deal. Windows were ordered end of Dec 2017. Install. The install experience was ok. I waited until April for the install. I wasn’t in any hurry. No matter how many times the salesman tells you the installers are employees of Mad City, they are not, at least the crew that installed mine weren’t. They showed up with the windows, laid down some plastic and got to it. They were at my house for 3 days after being told 1.5 at the most. I had a lot of windows and some big windows. They replaced the windows and the exterior trim. They were able to save the interior jamb extensions and trim. Please note, if they need to replace any trim it is up to you to stain and seal it. I have two large bow windows with an oak finish I needed to stain. They had to break the glass on my large window with an arched to get it out. They put plastic down to catch the glass, but I still find some in the yard. With the bow windows, they stick out much (8”) more than the old ones. The roof line did not match the existing, and they wanted to leave it that way. I talked to the site supervisor, who is a Mad City Window employee, and had to convince him to redo the roof, and he finally agreed. The roof repair was another 3 days. It might sound like I’m complaining, but I am very satisfied with the products and the install. Warranty. The salesman said it was the best warranty in the industry, and it might be, When summer rolled around, some windows closed hard. I easily submitted a claim online, and was called the next day to schedule an adjustment. Also, one of the windows had a scratch in it, it was replaced no questions asked. Just recently, one of the windows developed a crack. Again, submitted an online claim with a pic of the crack and was called the next day to tell me they ordered the window and will schedule the install when it comes in. Two weeks later in came in and they replaced it, again no questions asked. If I did it over again, I would probably still go with Mad City Windows, but they are pricey.

Very pleased with our service from Mad City. From day one, we were worked with based on what we were looking to pay and they also helped us get to a rate we could afford as well. The install taking one day was amazing as well. Never would I have thought that I was going to be able to pay what I am for everything we got from them. Would definitely bring back for another service in the future!

They were prompt and finished when they said they would. They cleaned up after and left it looking great. The workmen had to do extra work because of the layout of the bathroom. They consulted with supervisor and got all the job done with no problems. Looks great.

It went very smooth. The crew was on time and very professional. After the job was finished everything was cleaned up. I was shown how to use the windows and they all worked perfectly.

From beginning to complete, everything went very smooth! I had 6 windows installed and they look awesome! I can really tell the difference in the temperature in my home and NO MORE UGLY PLASTIC on my windows!! Every person I communicated with at Mad City, from the phone to in my home were super pleasant and polite! I especially loved that the crew paid special attention to keeping the inside floors and around my house free and clear of dirt and debris. Thank you so much Mad City! I shall return for my next project!

Madcity windows did an amazing job. They did the installation exactly when they were scheduled to (even with the freak snow storm we had the day before the install) They were very knowledgeable and answered any and all questions we had. They also made helpful recommendations. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great windows and service

the wok went fast and it looks marvelous, everyday I go into the bathroom, it still looks as good as the first day. loving this, best decision we have made. worth every penny.

The crew showed up on time and got right to work. They were friendly and respectful. Although a bit pricey, the windows are amazing compared to the old single pane windows I had replaced. They open so easily and I love having fitting screens. I am actually excited for winter because I want to see if the cold draft disappears, which is the reason I replaced the windows. Overall a very good experience

It went well. They came when they said they would and finished pretty much when they said they would.

Not a bad price for the size of window I got. The workers did an excellent job of installing it.

From the salesman to the installers, everything went GREAT! Very professional, friendly and they cleaned up when they were all done. We will be looking them up for our next bath remodel and patio doors... Every room looks so much brighter! We should have done this so much sooner!

Installers were great at getting the work done. In five hours they were done with the project. Was disappointed we weren't told how dusty everything would get and that they would need to get at pipes downstairs

We had our whole house done in one day. The windows are great. Our salesperson was very knowledgeable and informative. That deserves a 5 star rating. Installation crew is another story. They did a poor job cleaning up. We found screws laying around. There was broken glass left in our driveway and pieces of trim left in the backyard. They also ripped the back of our leather sofa and didn't bother to tell us. We found out when we were moving everything back. The installation itself was done right.

All went very well from demolish to final cleanup. Nice modern update to my home. No major issues.

It was done efficiently and all was clean and tidy when they were done.

We had our shower/tub redone and it turned out amazing! the job was all done in a day and it looks fantastic. they even had to re-do some plumbing which they were able to knock out all within the day for no added charge. they did leave a minor chip in my wall, but nothing a little putty cant fix. they also knocked off my downstairs bathroom fan by accident and actually replaced the fan for no added cost. very good workers that do very good jobs!

The process started off rocky because the person who was supposed to give us an estimate never showed up or communicated this. We decided to give Mad City a second chance based on their phone calls and determination to correct this issue for us. Mad City replaced a patio door for us. The gentleman who came to give us estimates was very straight to the point, which we very much appreciated! We gave him our budget and he found a way to make it work for us. The installation was quick and the door looks and works great! When the time comes around to having to replace our windows we will be keeping Mad City in mind! my only complaint is they did not explain the referral system to us and I don't remember what we were told during that first phone call!

Installation went as smooth as can be. Very curtious and professional Install personnel Sales on the other hand we weren’t impressed. We told a few things that were not accurate. In the end a manager came the following day after phone complaint and corrected sales misrepresentation of the type of loan we actually had. If it wouldn’t have been for the sales persons misrepresentation we would of marked yes to hire again

We recently had two windows installed in our home. This was our first time hiring anyone to do a home improvement project, as we are normally DIY-ers. I was initially turned off by the pushy sales people at Wal-Mart, but we decided to go ahead with the in-home estimate anyway. The salesman who came out to our house was extremely polite and knowledgeable, not pushy at all. He gave us helpful product recommendations and we decided to replace two of our old windows with triple pane ones from Mad City. We had a follow-up visit with a man who came and measured our windows to make sure everything was correct before they were ordered and custom made. The man who installed the windows was very nice and thourough, making sure to clean up everything and answer any questions we had. We are very happy with our experience, and planning to replace more windows little by little.

Bought new windows for the house from Mad City Windows. That i got last year. They were very professional, on time and fast when doing the installation. I high recommend them. I love my new windows!

They installed a new bath in our house. Did a great job and we got 60 months interest free financing. Wow!
