Mad City Windows & Baths

Mad City was personable and professional with all that needed to be done at my home. Patio door replacement, bedroom window replacement, and shower stall installation. They even hired a subcontractor to repair a hole in the ceiling that was caused by a leaky bathtub. My highest complements!

The guys who came and did our windows were very knowledgeable and friendly. They completed the work in one day and made our House look better with the windows we chose.

From start to finish, Mad City was professional in selling their products, they did not try and force sell anything. The sales person was very knowledgeable about the products and service. The sales person even inquired if I was a veteran and that Mad City offered a military discount. The installation was quick but quality and before the installers could finish, there was a quality control manager who came by during the installation process and ensured that I was fully satisfied with their work. The installers were curious and friendly and did a great job installing and cleaning up. Thanks Mad City....

We were very happy with our service at Mad City Windows. Our sales person was extremely patient with us as we were deciding what kind of windows to buy, then changed our plan 3 hours into the visit. Install was very well done and we are absolutely thrilled with our new windows.

They said they could do entire remodel, but then they said they couldnt. Bid was for over $8400 just for walk in shower. They would NOT put in clause about finishing on time ,. since i saw in reviews they had a couple of baths unfinished for months, we cancelled and went with Daniels bath. Superb quailty and price. And they could do the entire job!! They delivered as promise and then some. Definately get bid from Daniels bath out of Evansville.

Wonderful experience from the salesman to the installation. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable and friendly, and made the experience great, especially for being within our limited budget! Our new shower looks wonderful and is a major improvement over our previous one.

We absolutely LOVE our bay window! Our experience with Mad City was very professional; from our initial inquiry with Brian, who was thorough with their products, answering all our questions and working with our budget, to the installers who were on time and finished the install in 4 hours - it was a big (21" sash) window. Their lead, John, was very meticulous and attentive to detail and made sure everything was completed. It did take 2 1/2 mos. to receive the window from the initial order, but part of that was due to Covid delays. We are saving up to have the rest of the house windows done and we will be calling Mad City again when the time comes!😊

The saleman was personable and spent plenty of time describing the product, although it was disappointing to learn that the "bath" part of "windows and bath" only meant the shower or bathtub. I had made the appointment with the intention of having an entire bathroom remodel. It was made clear that it would only be the shower with a partial shower wall removal and glass placement. When it was clear that the price of a shower replacement alone was too high and I was going to walk away from the sale, the salesman began decreasing the price in a stepwise fashion, then asked what price I would be willing to pay. A tactic that the previous bidder had used. However, 9/11/2020, I did sign a contract and provided a down payment. I was advised that it would take approximately 3-4 weeks for the supplies to come in for the job, which was no problem. I was texted 4 weeks later that my supplies were in and to call to schedule the actual installation. On 10/22/2020, the installer arrives without the glass to intall for the shower. He was completely unaware that the wall and shower soffit was to be removed and replaced with glass. He was very apologetic and stated that the glass would be in within a week. On the same day, I was called to reschedule and the person calling me stated that they were rescheduling due to rain. I had to correct him. On the second attempt to install, they had cancelled the appointment due to the glass not being available. There were no updates provided to me regarding the availability of the glass, leading to multiple calls and texts, including contacting the salesman to see if he could find out what was happening. I did then receive a call from the main office stating that the glass was in, but that the next available installation date would not be until 12/8/2020. The installer did come, but with thw wrong size glass panel. The installer attempted to work out a way to use this glass panel by reworking the original plans. this did not work. The installer then went out to his truck to contact his manager. After about 1/2 hour, I went back out to the truck to get an update. I was told that the manager had advised him to go back to the warehouse to find a piece of glass that would fit. At this time, i contacted the salesman, who said that he would contact his manager and call back, this did not happen. I then asked the installer if he was going to get back to me and he said that either he would come back or call, neither happened. My husband then called the office to speak with someone, was only able to speak with the scheduling manager, who said that she would try to contact the manager, but was unable to. My husband then said that he wanted to cancell the installation and was told that only the manager could do that, and that she would leave a message for him to call us back. He never did call us. So, three months after signing the original contract for a shower installation that was only going to take two days, my husband and I went to Mad City's local office and finally was able to speak with the manager, Brian. We were refunded our entire deposit, as no work was actually started and both parties were in agreement to end the contract.

From the beginning, sales people, and workers were very professional. They listened to what we wanted, what we suggested and they explained every step in the process, We are delighted with the results and would definitely their services again.

We had a yucky old tub and surround, Mad City came in, removed it all and replaced with a beautiful walk-in shower. Our installer Jeff was courteous, knowledgeable and did a great job!!

We are very pleased with our new front windows. We held off for quite sometime and then finally decided it was time. They came to the house and gave us an estimate and we found them to be right in the ballpark as to what we wanted to spend. They installed them and look beautiful! Thanks Mad City!!

Mad City installed about 15 replacement windows in our home. They showed upon time, were efficient, and returned for quality inspection and minor repairs needed. Very happy with the product and it’s efficiency especially this winter season. Hope to have them return to replace other half eventually.

Mad City Windows did a great job installing our patio door. They responded quickly to my inquiry and promptly made an appointment to come give us an estimate. The salesperson wore a mask and followed proper COVID precautions. The day of installation the process went smoothly and the finished product looks great. The door is sealed well and definitely provides better insulation and energy efficiency than our prior door. I would work with Mad City Windows again on a home project

On 8/24/20 we had the salesperson come to our home. We were moving back in to a rental property that had been abused. When I booked the appointment, I told them I needed a COMPLETE BATHROOM REMODEL AND NEW EXTERIOR DOORS. When I received my confirmation it was for a shower remodel only and no doors. I called and said we needed a whole bath remodel and new doors and the call center said they would alter the request. When the salesperson arrived he had no idea we wanted exterior doors and told us they no longer performed whole bath remodels. I wanted to cancel the appointment but he promised that they were 4 weeks out on the shower remodel and doors. I thought, ok, I can wait to get the rest of the bath remodeled for 4 weeks. This was an absolute LIE and he knew it. The contract we signed stated that it took at least 8 weeks for the materials to come in. When they arrived to remeasure for the installation we realized that the contract DID NOT INCLUDE the vent fan that was specifically discussed. We wrote in to the agreement that we needed the vent fan. They said someone would call the next week. No one called. I called the service center and they said our salesperson would call and get this addressed and he never called. TO THIS DAY NO ONE HAS ADDRESSED THIS!! It is 12/16/20 and we have no bathroom remodel. Our toilet falls over if you are not careful. I told the salesperson this!! We have been living with a barely functional bathroom for four months!! The exterior doors were just completed a week ago. We spent $14,000 on exterior doors and they are not that attractive. The installation crew they sent in were the scum of the earth. One guy kept going in our bathroom and I swear he was getting high. His pupils were totally constricted and he was stumbling all over the place. They cracked our plaster and we had to repaint on BOTH DOORS. I am going to do everything in our power to get our money back and contract with a real company to replace our bathroom shower. This company is WAY OVER PRICED. They tell you that you pay more because they have their own installation crews. This is an outright lie. The installation crew that came to our house was not a Mad City Crew - they were privately contracted morons who barely spoke English. No one wore a mask the entire time. Do yourself a favor and RUN DON'T WALK from this business they are TERRIBLE!!!!! Book a small business owner even if you have to wait 4-6 weeks. I have remodeled several homes and worked with small and large businesses and I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE EXPERIENCED ANYTHNG THIS BAD!!! The exterior doors were rescheduled at the last minute. I am convinced that they HAVE TO PAY for ANY GOOD REVIEWS. If you notice all of their good reviews come on the same day and barely have any information. I am posting this review any where I can and I am contacting an attorney tomorrow.
