Not bad at first - the fan, first port through the basement floor and vent stack were installed without incident. However, the technician forgot that TWO ports were supposed to be through the slab and rushed the second one. He had to go to a big box for the parts, cut the hole in the floor too large, and the sealer never closed the hole, making the entire system worthless. I repaired the second hole myself and asked the owner to come and clean it up. I also asked for a vent screen because it exhausted directly under a large tree. She said she would, but never showed up and never sent anyone. I finally ordered the vent cap from a vendor in Colorado and installed it myself. Radon contractors overcharge for the first visit (actual cost is more like $800), assuming that sub-slab depressurization will solve 95% of the problem. In my case it did - radon went down to <.5 pc/L. They keep the extra money if they don't come back. The fans last about 5 years and have to be replaced. I will NOT ask this vendor to come back. One side note about radon mitigation is that any moisture coming through the basement slab is usually taken out, resulting in a much better humidity environment within the home.
Description of Work: Installation of sub-slab depressurization for removal of radon. Test before installation = 17.5 pc/L.

They were very knowledgable and efficient. They kept the house clean even when the outside was very muddy. My only compliant in that in two meetings he showed up FIVE HOURS LATE to the first and 90 MINUTES LATE to the second. His partner was at least two hours late for the installation.
Description of Work: Radon remediation. Drilled into drain tiles in the basement and installed PVC pipe that ran outdoors, though a fan, and above the roof line.
