Was very pleased with the service. Responded to my initial call within 15 minutes. Set an appointment time and when he was running late, called to let us know. John was very friendly and professional. Explained what needed to be done and possible problems before he started the work. Cleaned up the work area. I am going to have him do another project and would definitely recommend him to others.

Although it wasn't an emergency, he was able to come out a couple of days after my call, and we were even able to have him do an additional job when he got here! We will call him again to replace our sink and other two toilets in the near future!

John came out ready to resolve my low pressure problem. He fixed the problem in less time than he or I expected. I now have good water pressure throughout my home and a very happy wife.

Excellent service and quality work.

John showed within minutes of his promised time for both the estimate and to perform the work. During the estimate, he was courteous and explained what he would do in a way that was easy to understand. He provided a detailed estimate in a timely manner. He and his assistant Jeff were very polite, accommodating, and adaptable to work with when they came out to do the work. Our project was replacing all of the rotted, original cast iron sewer pipe, and relocating the toilet/sink in a bathroom in the middle of a major renovation, including replacing drywall and ripping up the old tile floor down to the subfloor. We needed to patch the subfloor before rebuilding the floor into a stable platform to mount the relocated toilet, but couldn’t do so ahead of time. John adjusted his workflow to accommodate me while I scrambled to patch the hole from the old stack and put down new underlayment. The bathroom renovation is still a work in process, so John installed the toilet and vanity so they were easily removable for finishing the corner behind the vanity and installing floor covering. He explained everything he did to make the new toilet and vanity removable, and what I needed do to remove and reinstall them permanently. John and Jeff were respectful of the house and cleaned up after the job, leaving the work area cleaner than it was when they arrived. They hauled away all the old, rotted pipe and fixtures for me. Everything looks so much better. It’s obvious they reassembled the new pipes with care for a professional appearance rather than rushing through something minimally workable in the quickest time to fit in another job. I wouldn’t hesitate to use John and Traditional Plumbing again if I needed any additional plumbing work done in the future.

we hired traditional plumbing ( john) 4 times now, and one of the 4 times was recently, to do various projects for us. We had quite a list for him, and he did an excellent job. One of the projects was to get our main water shut off- to work. It was old, and corroded and frozen. He had to call our city water dept, and have them come out to go into our lawn, to find the main valve out there, to go down 6-7 feet, to shut it off. While the city was doing that, john went to a supply store to pick up the necessary parts he would need to fix it. John then made the necessary repairs, putting in new parts, and he did a great job. He also put in a new dual sump pump that we had purchased- ( he helped us to find a good one-) basement watch dog, and so, we asked him to put that in for us too. and he hooked up the battery for us, and showed us how it worked- plus he also made a new shelf for that battery to sit on, above the sump pump. We also had him install a new vanity top and faucet we had previously purchased, and then also we had him unhook an old water softener for us, and cap the pipes. We also wanted him to put on a new turn valve ( which got broken) on the pipe for our toilet. He really did such a good job, and we are happy that we found him through Home Advisors. He is a very nice man, and his pricing is fair too. We would recommend him very highly.

Great attitude. Cleaned up after himself. He installed a new garbage disposal for us. I would definitely hire him again for other plumbing issues and highly recommend him.
