Abby came out to our property and arrived promptly as scheduled. She was extremely professional and well prepared. She explained everything to me thoroughly. She was the only contractor to send me an estimate within days of our meeting. Abby also followed up with a phone call a week later. I was very impressed with her and how she represented her company. The only reason we decided not to go with her service is we are using reclaimed windows as a temporary fix for the existing rotting windows since there is so much to do on this newly acquired property. I will definitely contact her when we are ready to replace all the windows.

Abby Windows LLC set up our appointment, came, did the deal and that was about it. When it came to the Deal and getting it done, the guy who came out was fine and friendly. Not to sound like I'm complaining or anything like that, but it just kind of seemed like he was very nonchalant about getting it done. It was kind of like, "Well, we'll pitch in when we can", even though I had kind of expressed that I was looking for a quote on getting future replacements. The guy just seemed like, "That's an internet deal and we'll put it in when we can." I guess that's the way I kind of perceived it, but they said they were very busy. I haven't done a lot of work with stuff like that, so I just had thought if you buy something off Angie's List, they're going to be like, "Oh yeah! We'll be right there." They guy that did the work was perfectly fine and perfectly happy, I just kind of felt the communication was a little lax on getting them out there and getting it done kind of thing. I don't know if I would use them instead, if they would be able to do it right then, but if I called them and said, "Hey. can you come out quickly and do this?" And they said yes, I probably would.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. It was great; they were awesome. I could not take advantage of the Big Deal because I had larger windows than the Big Deal was offering. They came out within one or two weeks after I purchased the service; they were pretty good.

I was very happy with the work they did. They were at my home when they said they would be. They did their jobs well, cleaned up after themselves and made sure I was satisfied with everything before they left. The window looks great.

Abby is straight forward non nonsense no high pressure. I met with her once. Her prices seemed fair so I elected to have her crew do the job. The windows arrived in the 6 weeks as she had promised. She called to set up a time and the tenants said her crew did the work quickly and efficiently and that they were very polite. I plan to use Abby to eventually replace all the windows.2228

My experience with them was great. They were on time. They came and installed the windows quickly. The windows, as expected, were not defective in any way. They did a thorough job and cleaned up after themselves. Their price and responsiveness keep me coming back to them.

verall, the experience was very good. The employees showed up on time, were friendly, and took care when removing and installing the windows to ensure they did not do any damage to any surrounding structures, floors, etc. Clean up was excellent. We wanted windows to match existing woodwork and they look like they belong to the house - excellent job of helping me choose the correct color. There was a scratch on each of the window frames that we noticed afterwards - might have been from how they were transported - but other than that fairly minor issue, we are extremely happy with the overall look and function of the windows.

Working with Abby was a wonderful experience. She is professional and no-nonsense. We have not always had good experiences with contractors and are ususally very hesitant about hiring someone. But from the moment we met Abby at a home show, we felt confident in her ability and honesty, and that confidence held true throughout the experience. She understood our needs and desires and provided good quality products to fill those needs. She not only knew her products, but she has an eye for detail and, after patiently listening to our consideration and concerns about grids or no grids, navy or not, she expressed her thoughts as to what she felt would look best in our style of home or what would best accomplish our vision. And she was right! She went above and beyond the call of duty in tracking down grids for windows we did not want to replace so that they would match the windows we were having installed. The work was delayed due to weather, but Abby kept us informed as to when the team would arrive.From beginning to end, she responded quickly to emails, texts, and phone calls, and immediately addressed or allayed our concerns. Now that the job is done, the final bill contained no surprises and the house looks great! We couldn't be happier with the work performed by Abby and her team.

First of all, I am not going to tell you how much I spent. Let's just say it was about half of what a national chain wanted to charge me. I put window salespeople right up there with car sales people and politicans. I don't trust any of them farther than I can throw them. Abby is different. I trust her. We had her do 4 window replacements about 4 months ago. I was really surprised at the quality of the windows. I was pleasantly surprised at the professional installation. Mike is a great guy to work with. I cannot express enopugh at how satisfied I am with her product and her work. We are so pleased we had her install 9 more replacement windows. We are now having her install a new front entrance door as well. Wait for her triple pane vinyl replacement window sales. I just can't think of a better deal out there. If you are like me, Mike will walk you through the entire install process, tell you what he is doing and why. From my layman's point of view, he did a great job. I am a very pleased customer of Abbys Windows and wouldnot hesitate to recommend her products and service to the most sceptical person out there. She won me over and I am sure she willdo the same for you.

Abby, the owner, (how cool to have a woman owned construction company!!) was very friendly and helpful from the beginning. I called for information about the windows before purchasing the coupon online. She spent a lot of time discussing the windows, the procedure, her company, and her business philosophy. We had to change the installation date once due to extremely cold weather. It snowed the day before the rescheduled date and I worried about having a mess from the snow on my hardwood floors during the installation. No fear. The guys arrived on time and immediately put down visquane on the floors. The doors were kept closed in the rooms being worked on to keep the cold from the rest of the house. The 3 windows were installed in less than 5 hours. Everything was cleaned up before they left. I would most definitely use Abby again and would heartily recommend her to others.

We extensively researched window companies trying to find the right balance of great product, trustworthy installer and reasonable price. We looked at a dozen installers and had 8 separate companies/contractors come to our home to provide an estimate. Abby was the clear winner. Right off the bat she was a kind trustworthy, competent businessperson who knew her stuff. She is no-nonsense and made the bidding process simple and direct. When we mentioned we liked a brand of window that a competitor had shown us, but told us she could install the same window, at HALF the cost. Her installer showed up on time, was polite and professional and did a fantastic job on the install. Our window is beautiful and we couldn't recommend Abby more.

First we had an initial consultation. Abby was very professional and punctual. Approximately 1 week later someone came to do the final measurement. 5 weeks or so after that the windows came. The only issue I had was that the installer came about 2 hours late and didn't call to tell me they were running late. This is a bigger deal for me because I work night shift, so I had to wait up and lost out on time that I could have been sleeping or taken a nap if I knew they were running late. Workers were all friendly and work seems to be done well. We have had no problems with them so far. The windows look and feel just as nice as the windows I had done by WeatherTight last year for a little less than half the price. Overall I am happy with the company and would use them in the future.

We contacted Abby Binder, owner of the company. She came out about two days later, exactly on time and gave an estimate. We needed to have the window by a certain date since our daughter was getting married and we were going to have several house guests. Abby assured me it would be installed in time for the wedding weekend. The same day as the on site inspection and quote, an electronic description of the work to be done plus price arrived giving me ample time to plan for the expense. A few days later her installer came out to do final measurements and while here was able to do a temporary fix on the old window ( he did this unasked as a courtesy) thereby saving us additional heating charges. Later I received an e-mail from Abby telling me that the ordered window was being fabricated and would be installed in plenty of time. Fully a week before the projected installation date her installer, John, arrived and promptly removed all the old material and securely installed the new window. He was efficient and very polite. The quality of the product is far superior to our old window and looks as if its been there all along. Our house is 75 years old and has a lot of architectural integrity. This new window honors that completely. We could not be happier with the courtesy, communication and professionalism of Abby and her installer John. I highly recommend Abby Windows and when needed will call them again without hesitation.

Abby came out for an estimate and the guys started the project on time. We had extreme heat while the siding was being done and they continued to work in the heat. Overall I would recommend Abby's for any project. The house looks great and it has cut our energy use in half with the new siding!

Abby was prompt, thorough,and followed through with telephone calls and dates for installation. The windows needed to be ordered, and they arrived when she predicted they would. We agreed on the installtion dates, and she followed through on email and calls to be certain the dates and times were still acceptable to me. The work was done in two days; I have over 15 windows. The installers were here when they said they would be,they were efficient and cleaned up the work areas perfectly. It was a major project, but they respected both the interior and exterior of my home during the installation process.

We met Abby at the Home Show. She wasn't the least bit high pressure. We made an appointment for her to come by and give us an estimate. When she came by, she measured everything, showed me the different options we could go with, and gave me an estimate. We had already had one estimate from another company, which was thousands of dollars higher and VERY high pressure. Abby, on the other hand, was very professional and curteous. We got a couple more estimates from other company's. Only one was even close in price, but the quality of those windows wasn't even close to the quality of the product Abby handles. I emailed Abby on a couple of occasions with questions and always heard back from her within hours with the answers. When we chose her to do the work, she once again came over, went through everything very thoroughly so we knew every detail of every aspect of the job. We were extremely pleased with how smoothly it went.The install was more of the same. Mike and his crew were very professional and friendly. Mike called me almost immediately to tell me about a potential problem with the soffit above the bow windows that were being replaced. He told me what the options were. We decided to replace the soffit, which wasn't as simple as it sounds because he had to find the right size. But he was very upbeat during the entire process and found what was needed. The entire install, replacing all the windows in the house and the front doors, took 2 days. The bow windows that had been in had braces underneath them for support, so when they were removed it left openings in the siding. We had a couple small pieces of siding in the garage, and Mike even took those and cut them to fit and covered the holes. It ended up being barely noticable. When the total job was finished, it far exceeded my expectations. The attention they paid to detail from start to finish made it a truly 1st class job. We've already received compliments from people on the windows and the way everything was finished off, inside and out. I definitely recommend Abby Windows, and will definitely hire her again if needed.

We have a 103 year old, two story home with a full attic, which had original wooden storms. We did a good job maintaining and painting the storms and screens but the prospect of spending a day each spring and fall lugging windows and screens up and down ladders was becoming less and less appealing. For years we had known that someday we would take the plunge and get replacement windows. We met Abby at a home show. This was in the midst of comparison shopping, during which numerous contractors visited our house and we also got information from several at a couple of home shows. We did not care for high pressure tactics of some of the others to lock us into a contract. We had seen several of the miniature demo windows and the heat lamp demonstrations, and visited a couple of showrooms. Our heads were getting pretty full of everyone's claims about their products. This is not to say that we weren't impressed with other contractors or their offerings, as there were some others we considered. But when Abby asked, "What can I do to earn your business?", while others were telling us we had a certain number of hours or days to seal a deal at a given price, that was such a breath of fresh air. Abby, like others, brought the little demo window when she visited. But she, hands down, gave the clearest explanation of products and services offered, AND, she truly listened to what we wanted. She gave us addresses we could check. The work was good, as she said, including the tidy caulking, but on smaller, newer homes. How about an old building like ours? So she referred us to a building near the UWM campus and a couple of older homes in Milwaukee. From looking at this we could imagine how it would be on our house. The workers arrived and did the work as promised, efficiently and in just a couple of days. The glitch with the doors was that they somehow arrived with the handles and hinges on the opposite sides we had wanted. While this actually worked out better for one of the doors, the other 3 doors had to be re-ordered from the factory. But it worked out fine, no big deal with a delay in late spring. We were happy to be able to finally open upper sashes of the double hung windows, and to do similarly with the self-storing screens in the storm doors. The old wooden windows had had the upper sashes painted shut by previous owners, negating the benefit of their design for air movement. Years ago when replacing gutters and downspouts we had overlooked that little fascia trim board, and getting that sided was one less headache to consider for the future. I had always tried to clean both sides of windows and storms every spring and fall. Doing it now with the sashes that flip inward is such a cinch. We haven't had a heating season yet with these new windows and storm doors but I am hopeful it will be rewarding that way as well. Right now I can't think of any other work we would use Abby Windows for, as they pretty much took care of it all. But I would not hesitate to call her again if we needed anything else, and I am glad to recommend her company.

Everything went great. We were quoted for what we needed, not what would benefit Abby the most. She delivered exactly what she promised, quality doors. It's amazing how new doors can make the house look so much newer. And no more drafts! Thanks Abby!!

Their estimate price was higher than what I got. I did not let them know about what I thought about their price because I got to know only later about it. Everything was very nice about them. She was very professional. I would be getting my windows done from somebody else. I would not use their services again in the future.

Abby was on time for the appointment we made.She came into the house and after speaking with her for a few minutes began to measure the home for windows and as this was being done we discussed different options and styles of windows. The entire appointment was maybe 45 min give or take she definately did not over stay her welcome nor was this a hi-pressure sale,it was the facts, some chit-chat, a rough est. and have a nice night. Probally one of the best appointments we had, not one of those 4 hr sales pitch with buy now discounts. We recieved a written estimate in a couple of days and also a follow-up call. Unfortunately I did not use her for windows the price was very competitive,she had a quality product and we like a family business. I choose some one that I new personally but Abby would have been our choice I have already recommended her to another friend and will continue to do so.
