About 5years ago I had 11 windows replaced by Stanek. I chose them because they manufactured the windows, used their own installers, not subs, and offered a 30 year (lifetime) warranty. I was pleased with the windows and the work done at the time. When one of my windows came off the track while I was washing it, I called Great Day Improvements, the current distributor for Stanek in the Milwaukee area. I was told that Stanek was sold in 2013, and the successor company was NOT honoring Stanek's warranty! They quoted me a $125 trip charge, and a 2 week wait for an appointment. Abby Windows is in my neighborhood, so I tried calling Abby. She came out the same day and took 5 minutes for fix the problem. She was on time, courteous and friendly. She showed me where the problem was, so I could fix it, if it happened again. All she asked was a positive review on Angie's List! I am thrilled and will call Abby again, and recommend her to anyone who asks me.

Back in 2002 we had 6 of our original windows replaced with Preservation windows by a company called All About Windows & Siding, Inc owned by Rob Kuehl. We have been happy with our 6 Preservation windows so when we decided to do our remaining windows in 2015 it was obvious to use the same contractor and windows; however, I discovered Rob had retired and sold his business to Abby. Rob's company had been so awesome that I was hesitant to use someone new and voiced that concern to our sales guy, he passed my concern on to Abby who immediately contacted me and put all my concerns aside especially when I found out that Rob's employees had stayed on with Abby Windows. Everything about the entire process was as it should be, they guys arrived on time, protected my furniture with sheets, installed the windows without incident, and showed me how to use them. I had an issue come up with one of my Preservation windows from 2002 that was covered under warranty and Abby Windows took care of it for no charge even though I didn't buy it from her company. I gave the pricing a "B" because I didn't get pricing from anywhere else so I have no price comparison and believe the overall price to be "good". And lastly, if you are lucky enough to have Andy sent out on your install please know he is a man of very few words but he REALLY knows his stuff!

Abby was very prompt in sending a sales rep to evaluate my situation, and provide a price for replacement of eleven windows and a front entrance door, in one of my investment houses. Abby had the best overall price for the product and installation. I had obtained two other quotes, and decided to go with Abby. The installation was done in the time frame estimated at the time of the quote, and I was very pleased by the attitude, quality of the work, and the professionalism, exhibited by the installation team. The windows and door are working out very well, and I look forward to dealing with Abby again in the future.

Due to family situations, we had some delays in getting this project hammered out. Abby was flexible and patient with all of our issues. We discussed our needs and went over our options. We never felt pressured into buying additional things, but ultimately felt like what we got (new gutters, gutter covers, and downspouts) will be huge labor savers and were very needed on a house that hadn't had updates in these areas in decades. The installers came on time and worked quickly and without complaint, despite some materials that we feared might be in their way. They never even asked us to move them and were able to complete their labor without any assistance from us. We were very satisfied by the professional, patient, and attentive service that we received!

Install went great and the carpenter mad the new door work great the oddly settled front porch.

Even with the deal their prices were higher than competitors and I found another vendor.

That was fine. It was actually a small job. Everything went great. I wasn't home for the actual service. The siding was fine.

Fair price and excellent service. Installers did a great job.

It we very well. She was very professional and knowledgeable, and I was very satifsied with the job. I would recommend them to anyone.

I ordered an entry and storm door with Abby Windows. I already did all my research so I knew exactly what I wanted. I found Abby Windows because I knew she sold the Provia door that I wanted. I found everything I wanted at other company showrooms, but I decided to use Abby Windows since she had good reviews on Angie?s list and I thought I?d give a small , woman owned, company a chance. The work started in December of 2014 and wasn?t finished until April of 2015. When I ordered with Abby I asked if her Brother in Law still did her installation. That was something I had read when I was researching her company. She said yes. She could have added that he may not be doing the work. She let me believe that it would be her family doing the work, or at least she didn?t bother to clear that up. The contractor I had was inept. I ended up with 3 cracks in my wall above my door because he was trying to force it into place. I saw him hitting the door with his shoulder to try to force it in several times. He also broke my storm door screen so it had to go back to the manufacturer. He was like a bull in a china shop. I called Abby and told her I was very nervous about how he was doing the work and I wanted her to come out and see the damage in case I have issues in the future. She came out and said sometimes cracks can happen and she will correct anything if there were any issues in the future and as for the install, she said she ? couldn?t have done a better job herself? It took several early weekend morning appointments or rushing home right after work ( since I didn?t want to lose any more time from work for this job) for him to patch and correct and finish all the things he did wrong. ( I have pictures ) Finally other installers came out. It turned out they let that contractor go. Obviously I was right to be concerned. Why she allowed him to continue after that first day is beyond me. The next installers that came out did an excellent job although there were still several appointments to correct what the first contractor did even though Abby said she ? couldn?t have done a better job herself ? They had to rip off all the aluminum trim and reset the door because it was not closing correctly. The original contractor hung the storm door to open the opposite way of what was drawn out on the work order. When I got home I told him it was wrong so he took it off?left the screws in the frame and painted over them so the trim all had to be replaced. After that he broke my screen door by forcing the screen to do what it wasn?t supposed to do and it had to go back to the manufacturer. Both of the next two installers said the first contractor did a horrible job. ( to put in words that can be used here) which just makes me question Abby?s honesty when said she couldn?t have done a better job herself. Then there was an issue where they didn?t come with enough aluminum trim for the frame so we had to make another appointment and then the following appointment the new storm door didn?t come with an opening for the lock so that had to be reordered. The end result?I love my door thanks to the last two installers. Now I need to patch and paint my hallway and re stain my porch deck that is all beat up from all the appointments. I could have asked them to do it, but I don?t want any more appointments and I want to know its done right. Another disappointment through all this was my only contact with Abby was when I called her ( 3 times ) . She knew what was going on. Her guys were in contact with her, but she never felt the need to call and apologize or even acknowledge the situation. I never even got an apology when I did talk to her I?m very patient and I wouldn?t take it out on the guys since they were so apologetic , but as the owner of her company she should have called to try to ease my concerns. I told that to the last installer who I?m sure passed that on to Abby because after I wrote the final check, she emailed me that she was sorry for the wait. I suppose she was afraid I would ask her for a discount if she called earlier? Not sure, but it is really bad business. Would I use them again? Never. If you would like a one day job to turn into several months and several appointments, this may be the company for you. Love the door. Totally not worth the headache. I?m staying with the large companies with owners that are concerned about their customers. This whole experience was ridiculous

I need to have an upstairs window installed in an attic bedroom. There was no existing window so a hole needed to be cut thru the exterior of the house in order to install the new window. It took a little longer than the original time quoted but they did a great job. The workers cleaned everything up very nicely and didn't leave any debris inside or out. They gave me the best quote of several window companies including Champion who I agreed to have install the window only to be quoted several hundred dollars more once I called to write up the order. The sales man claimed that he forgot to include the cost of cutting an opening for the window which accounted for the higher cost than his original quote. Smells like bulls... to me. I politely said thanks but no thanks and called Abby.

Most of the interactions went well. Very happy with the finished products. Abby was very responsive, but when it came to others sometimes I had to follow-up to get an answer.

All went well installers were on time and did a great job. Clean up and installation. were top notch. We have an older home built in 1910. Old back door had different size doors and very much unfinished on the inside We had Abby install two storm doors and two entry doors both which needed extra framing work Both the garage door and the rear entry doors needed to be opened up. Finished product looks and feels great no more cold air through doors.

She was very nice and straight forward. She let me know they did not have the proper equipment to do the work I needed so we could not use them for the service. I would consider them in the future for other work.

It took longer than I had hoped to get the window. The holidays (Christmas and New Years) delayed things. However, the installers got there on time and did a very professional job with great attention to detail. There were some challenges with fitting the window into the existing space due to the old window not leaving a clean frame. They took the time to do the job right, including tucking in insulation around the window before they put on the molding. No more plastic needed to seal out the wind!

After having 2 estimates that lasted over 2 hours each and became very confusing I called Abby Windows. She came to the house and gave me a quote within 20 minutes for exactly what I wanted. Installers were friendly and efficient and the windows look great.

Product seemed of good quality and there were lots of color and finish choices. However, the estimator seemed disorganized and had to return to his car several times for samples. He was impatient with me at times. We chose a different company.

There was a bit of a delay in installation. However in talking to a representative from the window manufacturer I learned that one of their main plants had been flooded thus delaying the manufacture and delivery of my windows. I do not hold Abby windows responsible for this in any way. Abby did stay on top of things and in the end gave me a substantial discount for the inconvenience. I was very pleased with her communication and feel that I was treated extremely well. I would gladly use this company again.

Great service. Love the new windows and doors. It took a little while to get through the process of getting the windows measured and ordered but once the installation date was scheduled everything went smoothly. Great crew working on the installation. They worked really long hours to complete the job. It was very cold and raining much of the 1st day but they carried on and got a number of the windows in that day. Finished up day two - was a long, cold and damp day again but they made sure everything was installed and cleaned up. I am very happy with the look of the windows and have received many compliments from my neighbors.

My experience with Abby was fantastic. Her crew was efficient, windows and door look great.

Everything was smooth. From the initial quote, I didn't get the feeling that I was being sold something I didn't need. Abby was crystal clear on what we should expect. She brought a sample of the window to the house. The install team was professional and from what I could tell they didn't cut any corners. Hopefully I won't need windows for the next 30+ years, but if I did, I would call Abby and her crew back.

Abby came for estimate in timely fashion. Door needed custom sizing so took 7+ weeks for install. Installers were from another company, but did a great job with good clean-up. and pleasant to work with. Good communication from both parties. Pricey when you think of it just being a storm door, but the quality is excellent, almost like an entry door compared to my old 1940's screen door :)
