Daniel Neaga was great. He was very responsive and did exactly what we needed him to. The stairs turned out great and feel very sturdy. He also came up with creative solutions on some of my other needs that helped me save money rather than needing to fully replace some items. We had just purchased a home and before moving in we needed some basement stairs rebuilt so that they wouldn't be so steep as well as a few other oddball carpentry projects around the house. There were some geometry constraints that Daniel was able to work around and the new stairs a million times better than the old. He even added a bike ramp for us at our request. His crew was also very fast! He originally told me it would take a day (which was way less than the week I was expecting it to take) so when it ended up taking an additional half day I wasn't too upset. My only complaint had to do with one of the side projects, they were flipping an exterior door around for us so that it would swing outward, and I wanted them to add security hinges. Daniel had gone to the store the morning of and couldn't find the hinges. So I ended up needing to go to a separate hardware store to get the hinges while they were working on the stairs. My main annoyance was that he had told me the wrong size so I ended up needing to go to the store twice. All in all not that big of a deal - but wanted to mention it.

Daniel did an excellent job replacing some split wood on my staircase to prep for carpet installation. Hard working and a good price for his time and expertise. I will be hiring him again to replace the banister.

Why Daniel promised to return my baseboard sample but has not is unclear and a disappointment, it was not a loan. I have not received a bid and my baseboard has not been returned as promised by Daniel.

Working with Daniel is great! The shape of the room vs the tiles was a little tricky in some places, and Daniel had the solutions. He always consulted with us as to our preferences. I didn't realize HOW much detail goes into tile installation, and am so glad we had Daniel's expertise on the project. He is methodical in his installation and the finished job is fantastic. We LOVE our new bathroom and the tile work is outstanding! Thank you Daniel. Hire this guy!

I had him install 150 sq ft of floor tile in my mudroom and also tile my bathroom. I will have him come back in the future and remodel my second bathroom. His work is clean and very skilled. Daniel and his team are such hard workers. They completed the tear down and build of our small front porch in ONE DAY. Impressive. Their workmanship is excellent. We are very happy with the results and would recommend him.

Daniel Neaga arrived to do the estimate without a tape measure. I found one for him to use, an we agreed on a price for replacing and staining two doors and a sink backsplash, and refinishing the kitchen window sill. Finally on the FOURTH time that he said he would be there to do the job (each time a few days after the previous no-show) he finally showed up. Since I live half an hour from the house where I was having the work done, this was VERY inconvenient. When he finally came with his assistant, he did a good job on the doors and backsplash. He left his assistant to refinish the kitchen window sill, which wound up quite dark. When I inspected the work, I noticed that ,since the hinge side of one door had been trimmed, the stain soaked in a lot, and needed another coat. I called him and explained this, and he said he understood would get out there and do it. He never did come back out, and did not respond to my voice mail, text, or email to him about finishing the job. The work overall was acceptable, but the "customer service" and communication were terrible.

Daniels quote was well under the competition, so we picked him to build us a new staircase. We bought all the materials and designed the look, and he executed it well. The stairs are solid and for the most part, look professional. The stain color matches our existing floors perfectly. However, there are definitely areas I am not 100% happy with where I felt the lacquer was done sloppily. It pooled in some areas and chipped slightly in others. The actual construction of the stairs was done really well, so it was disappointing that the finishes seemed a little rushed. The team also got a stain in multiple places on our newly painted walls and trim, and spilled drops of lacquer on our new floors that we have not been able to get out. It was a little frustrating because protecting the workspace is clearly outlined in the contract. Finally, Daniel is a really nice guy and very flexible to work with, but we wished he was a little more reliable in returning our calls and texts and coming on the dates we had planned. Overall I would say our service was good but not fantastic. Definitely a good value for the cost all things considered.

They were not the cheapest estimate, but Daniel worked with me to fit my small flooring installation project into his schedule. He did have to push it back one day, but the work was good quality and done in a timely manner.
