 + -1 moreIt went very well. Everyone was very accomodating and pleasant to work with. I had just as much help as I wanted with picking out the flooring. One person installed the laminate flooring and two people came out to install carpet (and move furniture). I was very happy that I was able to get in to the master and finish up painting one wall after they moved out the furniture and before installing the carpet. I've had no problems. Love the new floors!
Description of Work: Removed carpeting in 3 rooms (bedrroms and office). Installed laminate in office and new carpet and pad in other two rooms. I bought good quality flooring from them (not cheap but not high-end either). The carpeting was StainMaster, the laminate was Quadra (Stone & Slate collection). They also moved my heavy bedroom furniture which I wouldn't have been able to do by myself. I was able to set up two appointments so I could do the office first, then have time to paint the other rooms before having the carpet installed.

 + 1 moreOur experience with cascade flooring was poor at best. The project was completed because we choose to switch to other vendors after project began and the only product purchased from cascade flooring was the tile, stone, grout and sealant of which I was satified with.
Description of Work: We contacted cascade flooring for a bid remodeling our kitchen & master bath. Initially we were impressed with their customer service during the design process, however where they fall short is after they have your business. I dont even know where to begin. I have been extremely disatisfied with their customer service and that of their suppliers. The initial bid contained many errors that I had to point out to Barry, one of wihich was an extra charge for $600. After the project was complete we still had 2 boxes of unopened tile and several new containers of sealant which they assured could be refunded since they did all measurements and their was no changes to project, then later refused to honor (about $200 worth of product). When it was time to select our granite countertops he sent us over to Wall To Wall in Vancouver and didnt even think to mention that maybe we should wait since it was pouring rain and the entire showroom is outdoors and we have 2 young children with us. So we had to find this out on our own... Wall to Wall had horrible customer service. We stopped by twice to try to select the granite slabs and there was no one available to pull slabs out to view, as they were stacked on top each other, not to mention there is no additional lighting or covered areas to view the slabs so the conditions were pretty poor to even be able to select a half descent piece. Their slabs didnt match the samples we had picked out and they had no explanation for that and basically said too bad this is what you can pick from. I called multiple times & was always put off. The lady in office didnt return my calls, or email quotes as promised and during later conversations she actually would try to lie her way out of it. I was completely shocked at the way wall to wall conducts business and treats customers. We were preparing to spend $8000 on granite for kitchen & bath & this was completely unacceptable. So I found another company on angieslist that values customer service and has a huge indoor showroom which is essential during the winter months and they completed the job in under 2 weeks perfectly and for $1500 less. Also, the contractor and the custom glass shower door vendor that cascade flooring recommended had below average customer service so we decided to get additional quotes from angieslist and this was a saving grace. Needless to say I wish there had been more reviews on cascade flooring before I started this project because I would never have chosen to do business with them had I been more informed.

 + -1 moreIt was wonderful. We called them because they also installed our flooring. I called to see if I needed an appointment to talk about window coverings. Jewels called me back and started to talk to me about what I wanted. In talking about what I wanted, she came up with ideas over the telephone. When we went in to look, she had the things pulled out that we discussed. It was like she had walked through our house and knew exactly what we wanted. It was the easiest thing we've ever done in our lives. They sent workers out to measure, they were very friendly and professional. The installers were also friendly and professional. There was a slight error in measuring and they took care of it in a heart beat. They were all professional and nice. The experience was extremely pleasant. They treated our home as if it was their own. It was absolutely wonderful.
Description of Work: They installed roller shades with valances on three windows, metal shades in three bedrooms, and a pleated shade over a patio door.

 + 0 moreIt was a Saturday, and the place was busy; we couldn't find anyone to help us. I went to the front desk and asked if we could be put on a list for the next available salesperson. I was rudely told they don't do that, and that I should just look around. I then asked if we could be pointed in a direction for a specific type of carpet, and the lady told me to just turn carpet samples over and look on the back. We struggled for over an hour, before we finally got a nice lady to help us. But then we requested samples, which took much longer than expected to come in. I had to call them several times to check on the status. We went to a competitor the next weekend and received amazing assistance. We made our purchases at this competitor. We will not go back to Cascade Flooring. It was a waste of our time.
Description of Work: We were sent to Cascade Flooring by our designer to pick out carpet and tile. Needed new family room carept and tile for around our fireplace.

 + 2 moreThe craftsmanship on the tile backsplash was absolute perfection. Our black granite countertop was fabricated and installed beautifully. After several months, a chunk of granite, about the size of a quarter, began to come loose. I called the vendor who did the installation, and they sent out a repairman who just colored in the edges of the defective area with black magic marker to disguise it. I then called my salesman Paul from CFA and before I knew it, he arranged for the vendor's best repairman to come out and fix the piece which apparently had come out during installation and been glued back in so that it originally wasn't even visible. The repairman carefully "painted" the damaged chunk and the epoxy around it to look just like the surrounding granite, and you would never know that there had been damage there. Three years later, it still looks good as new.
Description of Work: We had a granite countertop and tile backsplash installed in our kitchen.

 + -1 moreThey were very fast. I like that I was able to do almost everything online. As far as scheduling and telling them to come to my house, the quote everything was really nice. I got my bathroom floor replaced and they put in sheet metal. They first installed and then they had to come back and reapply the wall paint in some area. They came back and fixed it. The price seemed really competitive to me.

 + -1 moreWe needed to replace the wall to wall carpeting in a vacant home in the northwest corner of Clark County. Because of our schedule it's been generally necessary to do most of the work on weekends. The Cascade rep was more than willing to accommodate us by meeting us at the job site on a Saturday to help with the material selection. They were also very flexible on the install scheduling since there were other aspects of the overall home repair project that were a little hard to pin down. The new carpet looks great - they did a beautiful job installing it. We're very satisfied.
Description of Work: Cascade Flooring's rep met us at the job site and assisted us in the selection of the proper carpet material and color. Although the location in question was somewhat out in the boonies he arrived when scheduled and came well prepared with samples to view. Cascade's crew then installed the carpet as and when agreed.

 + 1 moreWe had several estimates from other companies before we chose Cascade. The personnel we dealt with at Cascade were entirely professional, knowledgeable and ready to answer questions, both Paul and Jewels in the office and the installation crews. I appreciated advice on choosing materials. We never ever felt pressured into any particular choices. The estimate was quickly done, and their prices included the counter tops for for less than other companies wanted to do the flooring only. The work went quickly, and the workers cleaned up like magic every night--tools put away, floors swept, trash removed. They were super helpful and very knowledgeable about the materials and the installation. We did have one glitch, but it was made right immediately and they were extremely apologetic. I would use this company again in a heartbeat. The glitch? We were watching the process long distance from our other house, and the wrong vinyl was delivered and installed. The installation was perfect: around the semicircular hearth, the kitchen island, and into every corner---but the warehouse simply sent out the wrong pattern. It happened to be more expensive than what we originally chose, and we could have kept it, we preferred the other pattern, which was similar but not the same. They immediately checked to see how the error happened, and scheduled a new install within the next 2 days. They were totally apologetic and extremely good about it. The installation is still perfect, and we smile every time we look at the floors and the countertops. We plan to use Cascade again for any other flooring work. Extremely ethical people, good prices, and great workers.
Description of Work: We had our sunken living room floor raised 8 inches to match floor levels in the rest of the house and we had engineered hardwood installed in that room. In the entry, kitchen and great room, we had floating vinyl flooring installed. We also had the kitchen counters redone with vinyl and a backsplash of tile added.

 + 0 moreWe had this company replace carpet in a home basically sight unseen. They walked us through the quote, worked to get us better carpet for a lower price, and did the work quickly. There was some wood flooring being installed around the same time - when there was a question about how to finish a transition, the installers left that part unfinished and went back several days later to finish up. I would absolutely use these guys again!

 + -1 moreWe have only one bathroom so a white floor got a lot of dirt. We decided we wanted a new vinyl floor which looked like tile. We previously called another company. They failed to call us back. When they did the price was TRIPLE what Cascade charged and we would have had to hire our own plumber. We drove to the lovely showroom for Cascade and were treated warmly by helpful staff. Barry made an appointment to come and measure. We checked out a sample to make sure it looked great (Barry's suggestion) and this was a great idea (but we ended up being quite pleased with our original selection - he was being safe because colors can change in different lighting). Barry sat at our kitchen table and submitted a bid on the spot AND it included the plumbing of the toilet/bath area. The worker arrived on time and installed a beautiful floor. We are very pleased!

Audrey even followed up with an email afterwards to make sure everything went well. Everyone I worked with at Cascade flooring was courteous and informative.
Description of Work: We had new vinyl flooring put down in our basement. The old vinyl for flooring was coming apart at the seams we had some water damage so it was discolored looked horrible. Reached out to Cascade flooring for a bid, Audrey came out with in a few days was very professional brought out a sample of exactly what I was describing to her that I wanted... Received the bid within a day, the quote was in our budget. Scheduled the date/time for install. The guys (can't remember there names) came out removed the old flooring and let me know that I had some spots that were a little wet and wanted to let them dry before installing the vinyl flooring. We had gotten a lot of rain and some water had gotten into our basement. Followed their plan floor dried they came out over the weekend and did the install. The guys were very nice, did the job, cleaned up afterwards and were on their way! They were great. Floor looks fantastic!

 + -1 moreThese people were fantastic. They helped us select a floor that was high quality and yet still within our very limited budget. Paul and Jewels were knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. The people they hired to actually lay the floor were not terribly friendly, but they were extremely competent. The only way we know that there are seams is that we watched them lay the vinyl. Paul, as an ex-flooring installer, helped us keep costs down by telling us how to prepare the floor and do baseboards so that all they charged us for was the actual laying of the vinyl. Also, they offer a 5% cash discount. We will definitely go to them when we are ready to get new carpeting.
Description of Work: Bought sheet vinyl and had it installed in our kitchen.

 + 4 morePaul was very patient and honest throughout the process and provided things we needed to consider in our choices. We explained what our wishes and concerns were - they listened well. They were very prompt and fair with the prices and installation and I feel provided excellent customer service which made the project go smoothly and more enjoyable.
Description of Work: Paul Edwards, and his assistant, Jewels, were our flooring contacts through this process of remodeling our master bathroom and replacing the flooring in our guest bathroom and utility room. Paul had some excellent ideas on the process we should follow in obtaining a granite slab, selecting a backsplash, and then choosing the proper flooring for the job. He came out to our home early in the process. Samples were sent home with us - help was given on selecting the proper items.

 + 2 moreAfter some extensive water damage they came in and not only replaced all the flooring for me they took are of some minor drywall and painting needs as well. Highly recommend working with Paul Edwards if he is still there. Great guy, great company.

 + 0 moreWe spent $7845 on that work. They removed the carpeting and vinyl that was in the kitchen and entry way on the outside of our front door. They removed all the carpeting in the living room, dinning room and down the hall and cleaned it all up and replaced it with laminate hard wood floors. It took them 2 days, but the workmanship was excellent. The 2 guys that came and put it in were excellent and did a fantastic job. I talked to a representative, Barry, there and he came out the next day to follow up. He looked at it and asked if there was anything I needed to discuss with him or if I had any problems. I told him that it looked fine as far as I am concerned and they gave me a floor cleaning kit. I had only one problem with it and that is when I use boner floor cleaning, there is a haze on the floor, so I called Barry about it. He came out, looked at it, took some pictures and cleaned the spot and he is working on it to see what the haze is. It is not much, but it is enough to leave foot prints, but other than that I highly recommend them and like they way they treated me. Barry is was very helpful, outgoing and not pressured, and answered all my questions. I can't say enough about them because of their workmanship, service and quality. I am happy with the price I paid for the product and services I got from them.
