Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List Deal to have five energy saving windows installed in my home. Emerald City Energy was very friendly in communicating with me in setting up the appointment, both for measurements and the installation date. | |When the installation day came, the guys arrived a little past their scheduled time, but it wasn't a problem since I was planning to be home all day. They were quick, efficient, and friendly. After the installation was done, they told me that they discovered a little tear in one of the window screens during installation (it probably happened during transport, and is an honest error), and they would schedule another time in the coming days to repair it. They didn't collect the remaining payment on my job until that was complete, and I thought that was really professional of them to do that. | |So far, the new windows are holding up very nicely, I'm happy with the work they did.

Description of Work: The were exceptional in a tough situation with my association. They were able to change type of install at last minute to associations revised specifications. Windows are great and they did this all much patience and understanding.

Description of Work: Consultation of adding new window : Detailed, Price quotation near to actuals, Complexity and duration. |Quotation in market : I checked with other professionals, some were near to what Emerald quoted but I liked detailed analysis |First Appointment: They were punctual in first appt, Gave me choices/selection of window. |Second Appointment to install : Took appointment after long wait (almost 4 weeks) and later it was reschedule to 3 weeks after original. I was upset as i had some plans and other contractors dependency. |They came little late to work but was able to finish the work by evening. |I was happy with end result except it was not cleaned and condensation issue so I called and they again came to clean and validate. | |Overall, I am happy with results. definitely recommend others

Description of Work: Replaced 6 single-pane/old windows. The installer went over the top in his installation - well beyond what I expected in quality and attention to detail. A++

Description of Work: They arrived right on time and got the job done with a minimum of inconvenience to us. The contractor/manufacturer warranties are excellent, and the windows look great! | We will probably replace other windows in the spring and will definitely contact Emerald City to do the work.

Description of Work: I had three windows replaced. The initial contact and measuring was quickly after I made the purchase. I was told it would take maybe six weeks to have the windows made. It actually took less than three and we quickly decided on an installation date. Due to another project the installer was a couple hours later than expected however he called twice with updates. In the end the project may have taken longer than expected but he not only finished it on a Friday evening going into Labor Day weekend but was joined by a second person to help speed it up. I appreciated the professionalism, willingness to finish the job right and not fast and and pleased with the product.

Description of Work: Measured and prepared for patio door installation. The service was excellent in every way.

Description of Work: I bought the big deal (5 windows for $1999) not fully appreciating the deltas in windows and as such all five I had replaced were bigger than the standard included in the deal price. Emerald City was very upfront explaining this could happen before they came out and that the deal did not include tax. I was very appreciative of Emerald City setting expectations before any work was performed. The windows came as expected and installation was performed to spec. Warranties are good and follow-up was good, including making sure I understood that any service/help starts with them even though the windows are from another manufacturer. Would absolute recommend Emerald City Energy.

Description of Work: They were pleasant to set up the appt, prompt to arrive, the work was excellent. The only negative was that one of the windows arrived missing a part. I still paid but have not gotten word on when the part will be installed. I would use this company again though as I'm sure they will come through with the missing part.
