Well done. The job took a bit more labor than they had anticipated, so they sent reinforcements to be sure to finish up same-day, and the final price stayed the same.

Never completed - most of it cleared out to my satisfaction.

After purchasing the Big Deal, Carlos came out to walk around my property and give me an idea of what his crew would be able to accomplish in the 40 hours I'd paid for. We scheduled the crew to come out a couple weeks later, and they arrived on time (early, actually) and started work right away. I stuck around for a couple of hours to make sure they knew what plants not to cut (I did find that it helped that I can speak decent Spanish), and when I got home from work my jaw dropped at how nice the yard looked. I ended up paying a bit extra for them to haul one truckload away (the aforementioned tree, and everything they cut that didn't fit into my yard waste bin), which was worth it just to not have the hassle. Overall very pleased and though I generally prefer to do my own yard work I expect I'll be calling Carlos again for some future projects.

We appreciated that before the work was done, Carlos, the owner of the company, came out before the service to walk the property with us and see what we wanted to have down on our 1.3 acre property. We had lost some large Rhodies and other smaller plants during the summer drought that needed to be removed, and the whole property needed lots of weeding, pruning, trimming and general clean up. Four crew members showed up promptly on the day of service and worked hard from 8am to 6pm. Jose, the crew leader, checked in with us regularly during the day to ask questions and show us things that needed attention and was very open t change plans or add new requests. We are very pleased with the work! This is a very competent, customer service oriented, friendly group. They did an excellent job with our property! We will definitely hire them again!

I purchased this service as a deal. Juan Carlos responded quickly with a service date. I wasn't home when they came to do the job. When I returned home the job was done and Juan Carlos had left his business card at my front door.

Carlos came by to take a look at the plants we wanted removed and give us a free estimate after I got home from work in the evening. His crew was able to come out the next day to remove the plants and they did a great job! Everything was removed, including the roots and they did a great job cleaning up. I highly recommend North East Landscaping Services and will definitely call them in the future for any other landscaping needs we have.

Carlos called me a few minutes prior to the appointment to say he was running late, I didn't have a problem with that, and to help speed the process along he actually sent someone else out to view the property so they could provide a quote. I met with his team lead, we spent over 20 minutes touring the property and at the end of the 20 minutes I was told I would receive a quote by the end of the week. The lead took my information and that was the last I ever heard from this company. I contacted 2 other companies through Angie's List, both were punctual, courteous, and provided quotes in a timely fashion. I'm not sure what people see in this organization, but truly their best years have passed them by and good service is no longer something they strive to achieve. I wouldn't recommend this company and question why they are on Angie's list as I've read similar comments about this organization.

During the consult, they gave good solutions for a difficult landscape interface between our yard and the neighbor's yard involving a tight corner. Showed up on time. Crummy rainy chilly weather, they worked well and quickly. They laid plywood down to protect the lawn from repeated trips to the driveway where the blocks were. We had gone out, and when we returned, they were farther along than we'd dreamed. They finished the next day. They were polite. They cleaned up the scraps. we would definitely use them again.

We purchased 20 hours of landscaping services with a Big Deal. Carlos was quick to follow up and scheduling was easy. Two men arrived promptly on the day and did a very good job on our extremely overgrown yard, completing some major weeding and requested pruning in the allotted time period. The online deal applied only to labor and we needed to pay more for haulage (we were informed of this upfront), but that additional cost was reasonable. We would use these folks again.

They brought a three man team and were through in less than an hour. The only flaw was that communication skills need working on.

My rental yard was in extreme need of trimming. Carlos was quick in returning my call and prompt in meeting me at the house. We walked around the property, he listened to my concerns, and he gave me his opinion. We agreed on the project & price and later that day, I received an emailed estimate. It was evident to me that he had the knowledge and experience to do a good job. We scheduled the work, his crew came out and finished the project in a timely and professional manner. I am very pleased with the results and the ease in working with Carlos. Although he did provide a written estimate, he didn't offer a written contract or proposal. If the project were large, I would have insisted on one. Everything worked out to my satisfaction and more.

I bought an Angie's List Special for 20 hours of yard-work for $749. They responded by Angie's List Messages very quickly and scheduled the work for one of the days I requested. Carlos was very responsive to all of my questions. When the day came to do the work, two people showed up on time and worked about 10 hours each. They were courteous, hardworking and did high quality work. I plan to use them again for other work and for continued maintenance of my yard.

Oscar and Cesar showed up promptly and walked the premises with me to talk about the work that needed to be done and my priorities. I had purchased 20 hours worth of work and knew I had more work than could be completed in that time frame. Both men got right to work and worked hard through the day for 10 hours cutting and pruning and weeding and raking and hauling debris. As I thought, there is still more work needing to be done but they far surpassed the amount of work I thought they would be able to accomplish within that time frame. They were a joy to work with and I would gladly hire this company again as well as work with these two gentlemen again.

Fantastic! They showed up right on time. They worked the entire day. They did more then expected. They neatly took care of the landscape left overs and clippings. They attacked the priority areas that we had asked about. They asked us to review their work when they were finished. They had TERRIFIC communication skills.

We are renting a house with a large landscaped yard (~1/4 acre). When we moved in, the yard had been neglected for at least two weeks, but probably months. To give you some idea of the mess, one of the three companies I contacted said it would be better to rip everything out and start over. In contrast, Carlos came out right on time, was friendly and knowledgable, and quoted a really fair price. He explained some of the plants in the yard, since I'm new to the area. When I called him to book, he was able to send a team of two out the very next day. The two landscapers were also right on time. They were friendly, professional, asked questions before making big changes, and worked diligently from 8 a.m. until after 4 p.m. They were incredibly thorough, even taking care of potted plants and the cracks in the patio, and hand-weeding where necessary. They pruned dozens of bushes, got an overgrown tree away from the house, took holly bushes and blackberries out from between other plants, cut down slug-destroyed hostas, and tidied up the edges along every part of the front and back. AND mowed. The yard looks fantastic! I've hired them for maintenance too, and have complete faith that they will keep the yard beautiful year-round.

They did an excellent job. They are true professionals. We talked a little bit about what needed to be done and they took it from there. They worked very efficiently and quickly. They did an exquisite job. The yard looks beautiful.

We needed yard clean-up and transplanting of several large plants before we had our sprinkler system installed. I found North East Landscaping on Angie's List and called to see if they could come out within the week. Carlos called back and came out, did a walk around and agreed to send 2 guys out by the end of the week. He was knowledgeable, quick to figure out the scope of the work and gave me an estimate before he left. He sent two guys out who already knew what we wanted when they got here. we walked the yard together and they jumped right in. they were quick, efficient, very responsive. I had specifically asked them to be careful around some special plants and they were! They finished the requested projects a bit before their time was up and volunteered to do additional work we needed. I was thrilled! I would definitely use this service again and have already recommended this group to my friends.

The work completed is great. The team was on time, knew exactly what to do, and finished everything. They asked how I wanted things done, and could not have been nicer. They even cleaned up the yard in general, which is more than I expected or had asked for. I will definitely use them again, and my neighbor has already asked for their information. Carlos is a great owner, and the team could not have done better.

Because of various health issues, we had been ignoring a lot of the yard work at our home for several years. The crew from North East came in like a whirlwind and did a MAJOR clean up job. They trimmed back invasive ivy and blackberries, pulled out a large dead yew, weeded our stone patio, cleaned up several years worth of pine needles, cleaned out garden beds, and then mulched everything in under an 8 hour day. The crew was polite, and sensitive to our needs, and our yard looks better than when the house was prepped and on the market when we bought it. I can't say enough good things about these guys. Hire them. They're that good.

Except for a little hitch with the appointment, went well. Apparently the appointment time was misplaced, so they were a few hours late. Otherwise, very professional responsive and efficient. Would use again at that price.

Carlos seems like a nice enough guy, and was able to make it out to give a quote for a drainage system. The price seemed reasonable and we were excited to proceed- called him later that day to make a formal appointment and didn't receive anything back. --Ended up calling a few weeks later to re-connect and hopefully set something up, perhaps even a quote for a fence replacement too. Made an appointment for that very evening and never showed up. --Called one last time the other day, week after the no show, to see if he was able to fit us in to at least do the drainage. No call back. I've never had a business not call me back three times, and no show for an appointment. This may be the first review I've ever felt compelled to write, so that should speak to my disappointment level. I would hope for future clientele they can establish a more reliable system of communication.
