It went very well. They arrived right when they said they would, took care of a very persnickety electrical problem that was way beyond the scope of the homeowner (me) who is pretty good at household repairs. I had drilled through an important power line to the kitchen when doing some other home upgrades. I appreciated Joshua's down to earth personality and professionalism and their diligence to clean up after themselves. They gave an estimate before starting the work and let me know how they were going about fixing the issues and confirming with me when they had to drill or cut a hole to finish the repair. When they did drill or cut a hole, they also discussed how they were going to put things back together correctly before doing the work....which was very appreciated. They vacuumed and cleaned up all the work areas very nicely. It was a great experience and I'll put Emerald City Electric in my contacts to make sure I bring them out for future electrical work.

Extremely fast and professional service. The bid was roughly half the competition. Very high quality work. I would absolutely recommend them.

Josh performed all work as requested and was extremely flexible with options for how to best complete the work. We will use ECE for future electrical work needed, as Josh, Kyle and their team did a great job at a fair price.

These guys seemed like they were eager to do so, and the price seemed like it was similar. I asked them for an estimate for a generator. They absolutely botched my job and the job was amateur. Josh, the owner seems like a nice kid but Kyle and his band of boys (co-owner/employee?) was very edgy and made me feel like a pain, when I questioned him about the services that they had performed after I had an inspector come out to inspect the job. The inspector said the job was amateurish and that it barely passed his inspection. They are no qualified to work as electricians to contract out on their own. They may have fake licensing or work under someone else's licensing. I eventually had to call someone else out to fix their shoddy work.

Josh and his partner were awesome!! They provided an immediate and very reasonable estimate that was lower than others I had received. They also squeezed me in despite having appointments before and after me. They even called to let me know they would be a couple minutes late (seriously, less than 5 minutes). They quickly installed the additional outlet in the kitchen of our 100 year old house and let us know what other electrical work would need to be done when we decide to upgrade the kitchen. They even quoted a super reasonable price for that work. Then, they got busy trying to figure out why multiple outlets in various rooms weren't working. They spent over 2 hours tracking down and resolving the problem. This included testing EVERYTHING, and crawling around our less than spacious attic. Looks like some mice had chewed through various wires in the attic. Once they figured it out, they quickly fixed it. I think it took at least twice as long as they had anticipated to find and solve the non-working outlet problems, but they were awesome and professional from beginning to end. Anyone else would have revised the estimate, but these guys stuck with the crazy low price they had quoted for all of the work, which was about $200, even though it ended up taking close to 4 hours total. These are the guys I will be calling when we remodel the kitchen, as well as any other electrical work we need done. Easily one of the best service experiences I have ever had!

Joshua was professional and he diagnosed some issues with a rental. He repaired those issues and was on his way. I have other properties and will use him in the future.

Bthe bid was fair, the ECL technician worked with the tenants on a time schedule and was knowledgeable. The work was better than average, the customer service was great. Did a good job of clean up. Will use them in the future, highly recommend Emerald City Electric

They were a small company and I felt that they weren't quite as knowledgeable as they needed to be to do the work.

The ECE team showed up on time and performed all work as planned, in an efficient and professional manner. We appreciated that all three electricians were friendly and we trusted having them in our home. All work passed inspection from the city the next day. I would highly recommend ECE based on the quality of the work, price and quality of the electricians. We will use them for additional electrical work needs in the future!

The rewiring work wasn't entirely straightforward, but they did a good job working through the challenges. While electricians are inexpensive, they definitely put it the time and work to get this project done right. I would also like to commend Joshua for his good communications in scheduling the estimate and actual work. I have a busy schedule, so his flexibility and the timeliness of his scheduling and work was appreciated.

They did job very professionally and proficiently. Their job smoothly passed the inspection from city hall. All their members are always very nice to us. Joshua himself is very gentleman guy too. Their price (the price included the inspection fee) is reasonable (we compared several other companies before we hired them). If my friend need hire electric company, I will recommend my friend to contact with Joshua:)

Josh was great. He listened and took notes and measurements during the initial meeting. I provided drawings and we were able to determine just what would be needed. He got back to me very quickly with a quote that was very reasonable. His team arrived right on schedule and had it all roughed-out in two days. After the drywall was all in, Josh and his team returned to finish getting the outlets and switches in. They had to return twice more: once when the lights arrived and again when the island was completed. They did so without complaint and were very complementary regarding the space's new look. I have a feeling these guys are going to be sought after by anyone who knows anyone who has worked with them. Get on their schedule quick so you won't have to settle for second best!

It was great. We were installing LED lights, (which I bought), new outlets, we needed to upgrade the electrical box and rewire the TV area upstairs. Their bid was a lot lower than the other 2 bids I received. They did great work and spent more time than anticipated working within my existing old space. They wanted to keep to the original bid price but since they were spending so much time, we agreed to split the cost of the overage. They also had some issues with the installation of some LED lights I bought prior to the beginning of the job and worked with me to solve our problems. In the end, I was really happy and would definitely hire them again or suggest them to others. They were professional with problems that occurred. They were easy to reach and showed up when they said they would.

When they arrived, they quickly reviewed what I wanted done and went right to work. They cleaned up after themselves and offered to take the boxes to the garbage. They answered all questions and were very pleasant.

Josh called me on Monday, gave me an estimate, which I thought was fair. He agreed to come out Tuesday morning. He showed up on time, completed the job, and his estimate was right on......fabulous service--I couldn't be more pleased.

Emerald City's estimate was right on. Both on time and on budget. Showed up with 3 contractors and got the job done quickly. Highly recommend them and will call them again.

Josh Jacobs came out within a few days of my call to give me an estimate, and followed up quickly with a firm bid. I had them start work a few weeks later. From the very beginning it was clear that he and his partner Kyle, along with the guys that worked with them, were committed to doing high quality work. I have an old house, with a roofline that makes rewiring a challenge. Also, there's an addition with newer wiring, some of the wiring in the older part of the house had been replaced in the past, and strange wiring connections had been made along the way. Not all of this was evident at the beginning, but as one can of worms after another opened up, Josh worked through them patiently and thoroughly. Clean-up was ongoing and always complete at the end of the day. Overall, their meticulous attention to detail and obvious determination to do it right gave me great confidence in the work they were doing. Furthermore, their price was very competitive for the amount of work that was done. I recommend them highly.

Identified him on Angie's list and decided to call. He answered right away and set an appointment to come out the very next day. When here, he reviewed our list of corrections we needed from our new house inspection report and was able to get started right then. Even with one trip to the hardware store for materials, he was able to complete the work quickly and professionally within 3 hours - - much less time than we expected. He was courteous and thorough. I'd recommend him to to anyone and will definitely call on him again

Overall this was an A+ experience. Josh was everything you could hope for in a contractor. Professional, courteous, and flexible, arrived on time, completed the job efficiently, and with minimal disruption. And the final bill was less than the estimate, and considerably lower than the estimates I received from other electrical contractors. Josh is young, and started his own business with a partner only a couple of years ago, after working as an electrician for others. I highly recommend this company .
