Bernie's has been an amazing business to deal with. We primarily work with Will, but also occasionally Patrick. Will always remembers us and is both friendly and professional. He explains things in professional language, and then translates it into layperson speak as well. He always calls with updates and if the work needed changes after inspection/diagnostics, he gives a revised quote and asks permission before adding on additional costs. 
Bernie's has always worked with us on keeping the price manageable and will do only the immediately-needed work, if we request it, to keep the cars running safely, while making recommendations as to what work should be done sooner than later.
When they perform oil/lube service, they always leave the car sparkling clean and have even included a free car wash. They always use seat and floor covers during any service, and these are not removed until we are personally escorted by Will or Patrick to our car when we come to pick it up.
They have a night drop-off service which is handy for my schedule, and I can always get an appointment in a timely manner. Usually the next day or at the very latest, the next week.
We will keep coming to Bernie's for our car service and repair, even though we've moved a bit further north and it's not quite as convenient. Finding a good mechanic is hard to come by, but I'm so glad we found one in Bernie's!

We were able to make a next day appointment to have our car serviced and car was finished by end of the day.  Had the oil changed, cooling system serviced and coolant flushed.  They were fast, courteous and reasonably priced and we will certainly use them in the future.  They are within walking distance of our house and we wish we had found them sooner!  Thanks to Angie's list for the referral and the 10% off coupon!

Bernie's is great.  I usually deal with Will and he has great energy and
makes it happen for me when I call.  I depend on my trucks staying on
the road for our business, and when they need service, he always gets me
back on the road in short order.  Every experience with them has been
professional.

Great experience overall! Patrick was our main contact and very responsive in advance to my initial inquiries, as this was our first time bringing our car here. He kept in touch regularly during the day we brought the car in, and gave really accurate assessments of probably expenses for the services we needed. We were treated well and the repairs were all done well within the amount quoted. We had been searching for a new long-term repair service, and I think we've found it! Thanks!

They do really good work. They are super friendly and they take care of you.

They do a very thorough job and give you on head's-up on future maintenance recommendations. I have great confidence in them. I have been taking my car there for about 2 years. Before I purchased a used car, I took the car to them and they performed a 100-point check, which identified every problem. It gave me confidence to know that it was a good investment.

During my last service they cleaned my air filter but I didn't need the service done. Since I have a cold air intake upgrade I usually do that myself. When I told Will, the manager, he quickly removed the charge from the bill with no problems whatsoever and apologized. Gotta say, they are all about service and do a great job. My company uses them as well.

I'm normally pretty wary of car repair shops but Bernie's Automotive restored my faith in them and I will be going back to them in the future. I had to replace some tires in Portland and used Firestone. At my alignment last month, Firestone on Aurora in Seattle told me that I had to have new front brakes and rotors and that the sky was falling. They gave me an estimate of $596 for their Plus Brake job with a limited warranty of 24,000 miles or 24 months on the parts and 12,000 miles or 12 months on the labor. I asked them how much brake lining did I have. No response. So I took my 98 Volvo S70 that I rely upon to get to my QuickBooks and Quicken clients that I set up, review, and train at their offices and homes in the Greater Seattle area to Midas who also tried the same thing. Only their estimate was $715 but they offered a "lifetime warranty" on their brake pads but not for their labor which was only warranted for 90 days. They also neglected to tell me how much brake lining I had. Since I was having my 30K tune up at Bernie's, I was curious what they would say. Will told me that I have about 3mm (the first auto shop who gave me precise numbers) on my front brakes. He said "You can replace them at your next oil change. You don't need to do them now." So I asked him how much I should start budgeting for this repair. He replied, "Oh, about $400 and that includes the rotors. And that is covered by our 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty on labor and parts." You can trust these folks to tell you what and when you need to repair, at a lower price, and a superior nationwide warranty.

The staff at Bernie's had great customer service. They were professional, honest and courteous. I definitely spent more for 4 new tires that I would have at a tire specialty shop.

I've gone to Bernie's for 2 years. They have always been very honest and helpful in all areas. I like that they are very convenient and that they have really good customer service. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

I would probably not use them again. Their prices seemed a little high.
