+ -1 moreGot an estimate over the phone and made an appointment. My wife drove the car down and got a ride back home (nominal fee) and the car was done that day at the appointed time as promised. Inspected the work done and I was very please with with it.
Description of Work: They did an excellent job detailing our 74 Chev. Caprice Classic Convertible we are getting ready to sell. We had the works done from engine cleaning, waxing and the interior and top cleaned and it all looked great. I would go back again for their service!

+ -1 moreI bought a car from friends with two small children - and you could tell! There were crumbs everywhere and lots of stains from spilled food and drink on the fabric upholstery. I was so happy to return and find the car looking like new - the interior was spotless and the exterior was gleaming. Pat was very friendly and nice, and overall I couldn't be happier with the results!
Description of Work: I had a complete detail done (interior and exterior, but not the engine). I paid cash in order to get the cash discount price.

+ -1 moreThe 2003 Rav4 had never been detailed before. It's parking spot has been partially under a giant cedar tree it's entire life. I was concerned the moss and pollen buildup was etched into the paint. The door jambs had moss buildup and the interior was filthy. When I got the car back, I couldn't believe it was the same car. The car looked brand new. Every crevice was spotless. The interior was spotless. The exterior was spotless and very shiny. The wheels were spotless and the doorjambs were spotless. I don't know how they did it, but they did. GREAT JOB!!
Description of Work: I Dropped my Rav4 off at 10:00 and picked it up by 4:00. I had them detail the entire insides and outsides. (including the door jambs but not the engine compartment) They put two coats of wax on the exterior.

Description of Work: I have had my car detailed several times by other companies, but Auto Shine Detail did the best job. The exterior was polished, many scratches were removed, and the interior was spotless. I will return in the future.

There was a small stain on the seat that they missed which was obvious. The Tires were not dressed with anything they looked clean but dull. Overall for the Price i was happy.

Description of Work: My car was washed inside and outside, seats, front and back, trunk, windows. Car was waxed inside and out. Even door jams and wheels were polished. I live about a mile away he took me home, than picked me up to get my car. Very, very nice man. When I picked up my car it sparkled and shined. All of the little swirls on the finish were gone. It looked brand new!! I was very impressed!!

+ -1 moreThe process and work couldn't have been better. Again, for the work they perform, they charge more than half the price of other detailers we'd contacted. I've used car detailers for over 20 years and this was the best value I've ever come across.
Description of Work: First, they came over and picked up our cars. We live some distance away, so we felt the pick-up and delivery fee of $15 for each car was more than reasonable. Dick is a very nice man and made me feel very comfortable the company could do what my wife and I needed for both cars. Compared to other car detailers in the area the prices are incredibly reasonable. We paid $150 dollars for both vehicles, one being my wife's Honda Accord and the other a Honda Pilot. They completed my wife's car a few days prior and did such a great job I hired them to detail my car as well. The service included washing, waxing, buffing out scratches and paint swipes, dressing the wheels, cleaning the engine to perfection. The interior included vacuuming and shampooing the carpets, washing the all-season rubber mats, dusting, treating the leather seats and other vinyl and plastic areas as well. No matter, the cars sparkled like they were new again and many of our friends have said how great the cars look and requested information regarding how to contact Auto Shine Detail.

+ -1 moreThe person I spoke with on the phone was professional and efficient, provided the information I needed and the price, and arranged to pick up the car the next day. The guy who picked up and dropped off the car was friendly and made me feel confident that they'd take good care of the car, which they did. I think the price is incredibly reasonable for the amount of work they put into it. I got a call from one of the owners a few days later, who wanted to follow up, as one of the two owners apparently usually personally checks each vehicle before it gets returned to its owner, but they both happened to be out the day my car came in and weren't able to do so that day. I reassured her that her employees had done a fine job, and that I was quite pleased with it. That kind of personal touch is old-school, and I think something sadly missing in a lot of transactions today. I'd happily recommend Auto Shine Detail to friends, and will definitely take my cars back there in the future.
Description of Work: We have had our car for five years (we purchased it used), but in all that time we had never had it detailed. We had to get its transmission rebuilt recently, and decided that since we were doing that instead of getting a newer car, we'd get it detailed and at least feel like we had a newer car. I saw lots of good reviews from Angie's List customers, so I called and told the person who answered what kind of car I had, that there were dogs that rode in it, and that it had never been detailed in five years. He told me the estimated charge for it, said they could pick up and drop off for a small additional charge (I think it was $15 extra), and could do it as early as the next day. So, I made an appointment, a driver picked up the car at my office the next morning, and brought it back that afternoon, shining and polished and clean as a whistle. The carpets had been vacuumed and shampooed (and were still damp), the exterior washed and polished, and the interior scrubbed to look as good as possible. It looked like a new car sitting there in the parking garage!

My wife and I had an unexpected surprise (e.g. our baby was born 3 weeks early) and the last things on our preparation list didn't get done (...like get the dog hair and stuff out of the cars). So once we got home from the hospital, I checked Angies list called Auto Shine Detail, and spoke with Pat the owner. He came that day to pick up the Jeep, brought it back the next day, picked up the Mazda, my mother-in-law wanted the interior of her car cleaned, so I called Pat, and added this to his schedule. He dropped off the Mazda, picked up the Pilot, and returned it that evening. Throughout my interaction with everyone at Auto Shine Detail, everyone was professional, personal, and courteous. It appears to be a small business, an old school one which understands customer service and personal attention.
Description of Work: Complete detail, including engine clean, for a Jeep Wrangler ($149.95 +$20 P/U & delivery charge...this charge is usually $15 but we're quite a bit south of the shop; + tax) Complete detail, including engine clean, for a Mazda 3 ($149.95 +$20 P/U & delivery charge...-15% for additional vehicle; -10% for additional vehicle pick up; +tax) Interior detail for Honda Pilot ($109.95 +$20 P/U & delivery charge...-15% for additional vehicle; -10% for additional vehicle pick up; +tax) Note: Pick up & delivery are usually only $15, however we live quite a ways from the shop, and with I-5 traffic...completely understand and an additional $5 charge.

They had the car back in about 3 hours. The car was cleaner than it has been since we purchased it! We have dogs and there was a fair amount of dog hair inside. They managed to get rid of it all! I will definitely use them again in the future!

Brought the car back the next afternoon. It looked brand new again (granted, my husband keeps his car quite clean). Still smelled of the sanitizer (which my husband expected). GREAT job!!
Description of Work: Pat sanitized our VW Jetta bumper to bumper. Steamed and sanitized carpets/interior (and the glove box even!), trunk, and steamed the engine. The car (my husband's) had had mice in it. And he's a bit of a germophobe.

+ -1 moreI called them up around noon and told them that I wanted to get my father's car ready to sell. I wanted them to pick it up, because I'm not comfortable driving a manual transmission car. They asked if they could keep it overnight, and then came a couple of hours later to get it. I got it back 24 hours later, and it looks amazing. The upholstery, which was in good condition but dingy with some spots, looks like new. The interior trim is clean and shiny, and all the little knooks and crevises are free of lint, dust and debris (no small feat). The exterior gleams. Beautiful! Plus, the guys are a pleasure to deal with - good-natured, salt-of-the-earth-type guys. My father would approve, and I think this high-quality detailing will make a big difference in how the car sells.
Description of Work: They totally and professionally cleaned the inside and outside of my father's car (everything they stated that they'd do in their Angie's List description, and more). They even took off the bumper stickers I couldn't remove, and got rid of the all the sticky residue. They happily honored the Angie's List discount price, which I thought was extremely reasonable.
