The problem was a leaking tank on the kitchen hot water dispenser. Jim came to look at the job, decided what needed to be done, and charged nothing for his time. We waited several weeks for the manufacturer to send a replacement tank. When the tank arrived, we made an appointment for Jim to install it. On his first visit, he pointed out that there were no dedicated shut-off valves for either the hot water dispenser or the dishwasher, violations of code. The installation of the tank and two shut-off valves took an hour and a half. Each time I called, Sharon answered the phone without identifying the business as J & S [Jim and Sharon] Plumbing. Once established that I had reached the plumber, we communicated well. From the first visit, I had complete confidence in Jim and his plumbing expertise. He was friendly and businesslike, and I would definitely call him again.
Description of Work: Leaking hot water dispenser removed and replaced. Shut-off valves for hot water dispenser and dishwasher added.
