Description of Work: It's the little things that really prove the integrity of a company and Shocking-Difference is one of those company's that do the little things that prove they are a class act. |I had a generator inter-lock installed by Sean and while we had a few hiccups (my panel was full and installation required some creative thinking to get it all in) which required a second visit. |On the first visit, Sean had an apprentice with him and Sean did one of those things that just show their commitment to a quality job- when installing the conduit for the run to the generator plug- Sean mentioned to Eric (?) that the printing should be turned so it isn't visible; not for my benefit but simply because that was the way it should be done. |Vacuuming up (in my garage) after they finished was another little thing that I really appreciated. Inspection was a breeze and the inspector had no issues with the work that was done. |I HIGHLY recommend Shocking-Difference to anyone looking for a class company. | |Mike Prigge |

Description of Work: The guys were very informed, told me exactly what needed to be done, and did an excellent job. Have good work ethic, which is very important these days.

Description of Work: We had them install some fans. They were on time and very professional. They sent out 3 guys to install 3 ceiling fans; took them just under and hour to complete the whole job. There was a little confusion regarding payment for service but was resolved within 24 hours. Very much satisfied!!!

Description of Work: Two technicians installed three ceiling fans and corresponding accessories. |Both technicians were friendly and installation was professional; both were helpful in giving instructions and advice on placement and use. Cleaned up after themselves and worked consistently and quickly.

Description of Work: My dryer stopped working and I called an appliance repair service. It turned out the dryer was fine, there was a problem with the 220V plug. Shocking Difference replaced the plug - dryer worked again

Description of Work: They did several little projects around the house. The crew arrived on time and actually completed work a little early. I have also consulted with them on an upcoming kitchen lighting project that I will have them do for me soon.

Description of Work: Shocking Difference provided outstanding service! I had a contractor tell me that my 33 year old electrical panel needed to be updated. Since I am remodeling my kitchen, I decided to replace the panel at the same time. Shocking Difference came out and inspected it and told me the panel was fine and I didn't need a new one!! They didn't have to do that and I wouldn't have known any different.

Description of Work: The only problem was with understanding the work order and their billing. Some items showed up on the billing while others didn't. We think it all evened out in the end. It may be a case of us not understanding the lingo or how they lump items together. They could do a little better with their write up of what was done and have it match with the bill.

Description of Work: Replaced a large chandelier in entry way and 2 wall sconces. |Price was great, service was excellent. Very polite and did a |great job in a timely manner.

Description of Work: Troble shot light fixture wiring problem and repaired. Replaced 2 smoke alarms with new combo alrams for CO and smoke. On time, actual costs were lower than expected. Electrician was friendly, personable and efficient. Would recommend to anyone.

Description of Work: Replaced original electrical panel & added dedicated outlets for new power equipment. Added 7 LED can lights with dimmer as well as 2 track lights with dimmer. Installed light/fan combo in bathroom with double switch, and added cable/TV hookup. Sean & Mike did excellent work! Very pleasant to work with. Estimate was accurate and work was done in two days within 8 days of original visit for estimate. Would absolutely work with them again! A very reasonable price for the amount of work done.

Description of Work: I had a wiring problem with an old (20+ years) hot tub.The problem was corrected with some minor rewiring once the problem was identified. The GFI was also bad, but the electrician was hesitant to use an off the shelf GFI, since the one on the system was old and appeared to be specific to the application. The electrician left, but said he would return and complete the work if I found that his generic unit would be OK. Once I checked the old GFI out with a hot tub merchant and verified that any modern GFI would be acceptable, he was back within 10 minutes o complete the repair and test it. It worked fine. I was quite happy with the quality of the work and to have a functioning hot tub again
