SUMMERS PLUMBING

The guys at Summers are so great. We've had a few different guys to the house, and they are consistently efficient, proficient and so very nice. The guys that came out today were no different. After they were done, they even agreed to drive over to the office of the window company to accept payment from them, so that we wouldn't have to write a check and then be reimbursed. I knew that this was a good company from past experience, but today's experience especially guaranteed that they will be the only plumbing company I ever use.

Overall experience was frustrating & annoying. I received an initial estimate for $3160 to replace plumbing in 2 bathrooms and set a new kitchen sink. Due to access issues, the plumbers couldn't completely replace the existing plumbing. They still tried to bill me for the complete job. After they "completed" the job, we had a stoppage in one of the bathrooms. This is when I found a second section of plumbing they didn't replace, but failed to tell me about. The plumbers came & cleared the stoppage, but the owner/manager never called me to provide any feedback, explanation or customer service. One of the plumbers who came to the house multiple times was like a whiny child; he spent more time complaining about the work than actually doing it. I had to call his manager and complain so he wouldn't bail on the job at 11am. We have some galvanized plumbing remaining, with all the problems normally associated with GS. My favorite quote: "If I had water like yours I would boil it." Idiot.

I can't remember the plumber's name, but he was great- arrived on time, worked quickly, and spared us his plumber's crack. The leak is fixed and everything works! The work was performed under our home owner's warranty.
