While researching for the a pro, we came across so many raving reviews for this team, so we threw caution to the wind.... and they did not let us down. Overall experience with this dynamic duo of Father & Son team was awesome! Tim was straight forward answering my inquiries. A couple of pictures of my existing setup (leaking Kenmore Power Miser tank) and Tim was able to provide quote for replacement and work required. Drew (hope I got that right... I know Tim will get me for being "SILLY") came out the next day on the appointed time, and less than 2 hours later, we got hot water running again. Drew was also great in answering my questions about maintenance, comparison of what's being installed vs what we had, and above all, patient AND courteous! Even let the 3-1/2 yr old take pix standing next to service truck! : -) Definitely would recommend.

Very friendly, nice people. Requested a bid Sunday night, got a confirmation text that night and a call Monday morning. Hot water heater was running again by Monday afternoon.

THe main thing I appreciated the most about their service is their honesty. All the other plumbing companies I spoke tried to sell me a whole new water heater, but the Hamblen company wre human enough to tell me that all I needed was a simple part and they fixed it in a prompt and professional manner and my water heater has been working optimally. Normally when combing over reviews, I tend to focus on the bad reviews and look for trends. I don't normally read 5 star reviews, figuring most people don't really appreciate a 5 star or give it a 5 star because they didn't have problems. Coming from someone that doesn't hand out 5 star reviews often, I'm giving this high rating because they deserve it. Over the past year I've reviewed and used a number of contractors. Before I met these guys, I was convinced contractors are a shady group all about the quick buck. Sorting through the dozens of contractors who've quoted my simple gas-line extension job, by the time I reached these guys I had a deadline and some competitive rates. Their quick professional response and conversation was impressive. They managed to beat the best price and well within the deadline I had. They called the night before and called an hour before to let me know they'd be 15 minutes early. When Drew arrived, he wasted no time jumping in. What I wanted would've worked, but he took the extra time and effort to ensure the line was laid in a way that would allow for furture modifications, including adding a T connection at no additional cost. He was more concerned about doing the job right than getting in and out. He took care to keep the work area clean and left it in better condition than he found it. I can't say enough about this father/son duo. Others should take a page out of their book and learn something about customer service, integrity and quality. Kudos, gents.

I called them at 5:00pm and they were able to have a technician at my house by 6:00pm. The tech was friendly, fast and was done in 15 minutes. Couldn't be more happy with the service they provided!

Both Mr. Hamblen and his son, Drew, were very personable. Both were equally knowledgeable on the gas water heater that they installed for me. Drew was extremely proficient and extremely polite. I definitely recommend this company.

I did not actually need my water heater either replaced or repaired, was having issues and when explained, they arranged to have someone come out and not only inspected thoroughly, but were friendly, and helpful. Excellent service. definitely recommend to anyone!! :)

Great people Clean and tidy

After finding out we had a gas leak under our house I called and spoke with Tim about our situation. They came out that day to fix the leak, Andrew arrived ahead of schedule an did an excellent job! Their compassion and work ethic is something seldom see in the work force today. Their family values, passion and genuine concern for not only their customers but for their community as well, shows that there are still people out there willing to help those in need without taking advantage of them. Needless to say they have a new customer for life! I highly recommend Hamblen & Sons Heating.
