. Provider was never on time for an appointment, or did not show up at all. Two hours after the cleaning (and no electrical testing) I found that the problem of the furnace being hot even when not running was still there. Rather than come back with electrical checking equipment he told me on the phone that he was sure it was the blower and he needed to take the blower out and to another town to have it gone through. Since he was not at all dependable I felt I might never get the blower back so called him and told him not to come back. The new repairman checked electrical and found that the problem is only a connector and that the cleaning had nothing to do with the repair. I am sure the cleaning was needed but was not crucial to repair and I learned that I was charged at least $200 over what it should have cost for what was done.
Description of Work: Called for electrical problem with electric furnace. Provider did not check electrical, told me that cleaning ducting and furnace would take care of problem. He did do the cleaning.
