On time, professional hot water heater installation

I am not happy with this Big Deal. The company wants to install the cheapest quality water heater they can. That is not what I want! I would like a better quality water heater than that! I am getting a refund for this "Big Deal".

Everything went fine. They were quick to contact me. It was a good deal. I am happy. It passed inspection by the city.

Purchased a hot water heater check-up coupon on Angies list. The rep (Jason?) showed up early and appeared very knowledgeable when he evaluated the unit. He drained the water heater for me to check water content after checking the basic electrical items on the water heater. I had purchased a "pancake" looking "floor insulator" for the unit during the prior week at a hardware store. The technician helped me pick-up the unit and insert the insulator under the unit. Because it was so old the water heater does not have an expansion tank and he explained the risks involved if I don't have an expansion tank installed. |I was very satisfied with the service and the technician's professionalism. I would use these guys again.

Working with Fast Water Heater was a pleasure. We had a little snag which was quickly resolved to my satisfaction.

A representative from Fast Water Heater Co. agreed to replace my old water heater which had sprung a leak and no longer worked. The agent was punctual, polite, and seemed knowledgable. Unfortunately, the water heater needed to be installed in a new location, so work had to be done to make this possible. Hence, the installation wasn't as "fast" as I would have liked, but I understood why it was not possible. Just frustrated with being without hot water for a few days! After relocating a large work bench in the garage so the new tank could be relocated, the representative arrived and did a wonderful job of installing the new heater, and removing the nonworking heater. He clearly explained all we needed to know about using and caring for the new heater, as well as patiently answered all of our many questions. Fast took care of the necessary permits. | |I'd be happy to use them again, but hopefully, I won't be needing a new water heater for quite some time. The guy they sent out was very courteous and the work just turned out well. The company was really nice to work with. We talked to the office manager and service manager as we went to the office, they were nice to work with. The service guy that they sent out was very nice to work with as well. We went to the office because it is conveniently located to our home.

We purchased a water heater through Home Depot and had them arrange for installation. They sent "Fast Water Heater Co". They were quick and efficient. They handled pulling the building and safety permit and provided the necessary paperwork for the final inspection. The inspector even remarked that they did very nice work.

We were very impressed with their professional, courteous, and punctual service. They were actually ahead of schedule, and notified us via phone, prior to their arrival. We had many questions, and they were more than happy to explain in detail. We must also point out that the staff in their dispatch/call center were friendly and great to work with. We will highly recommend them to our friends, family, and neighbors when the time comes for them to replace their water heater.

Fast Water Heaters responded very well to my concerns and got a complex problem resolved quickly. Their follow up was amazing, and they were genuiningly concerned about getting me satisfied and happy with their work. I later received a nasty, "registered, pick up in person only" letter from the company President, however. I truly hope that Fast Water Heaters was not deliberately attempting to manipulate their Angie's survey results. As it was, we were both in error, so I am leaving my review as is. Fast did a very good job. I hope their President steps more carefully when communicating with clients in the future. Ethics in the on-line world pay off, just like in the real world and they are always the best policy. This is doubly true when expressing annoyance with a client that gave them an "A" review.

The overall job went pretty well. The two service men were prompt and stayed late until the job was completed. They did have to return to finish some patch work. The quality of their work was good. The whole experience was positive. I felt that they were overpriced. The water heater enclosure was not the best quality and I was charged $499.00 for a $100.00 Home Depot item. They only use Home Depot items and only sell GE water heaters

puget sound energy referred me to fast. I was very impressed with everything from recommendation for the unit, to scheduling, to installation. They found rebates and discounts that made the heatpump water heater recommended by pse roughly the same price as an old style electric water heater. Great deal. installation required reworking pluming and electrical to fit the new connections. it was done in a careful manner that took longer than predicted, but they kept working until installed that night. overall a great experience and the heater gives me hot water faster an more afford-ably than I expected (the long distance from the heater to the faucets didn't change, so this is a good surprise)

It went pretty well. They came out on Sunday; they were pretty quick. I called them and they agreed. I paid some extra to them and it was about $400. It is a good company. The price was good. I would use them again.

Mitch came out to our home this morning promptly at 9:00 a.m.. He proceeded to drain, and then inspect, our hot water heater. He presented himself very professionally, in personal appearance and mannerisms, which we appreciated very much. Mitch gave us some information about some new codes that our hot water heater installation does not have at the present, but said that our water heater was in good condition right now. We will definitely call Fast Water Heater Co. when the time comes to have our hot water heater replaced. Thank you for a great job!

It went very smoothly and we were happy with the service that was provided. They inspected the area and installed it. They did it all within a very small time frame. They were very efficient and they did a good job. I haven't had any issues with it since they installed it.

Bought deal from Angie's List from Fast Water Heater to replace my 20+ years old gas water heater. Made appointment and glad to know they can make it installed during weekend which is quite convenient for me. I had to spend more extra money to meet permit codes required by Bellevue city which was a little more than I expected, but I was satisfied with the whole job done: the new water heater was installed professionally and becomes much safer than previous one: more stabilized installed expansion tank, wider/thicker exhaust vent, earthquake straps, etc. I'm waiting for permit inspection and hope it can pass without any issue.

This is the second time I have used Fast Water Heater in our two decades of living here. They have been quick, reasonable and professional each time. The service provider drained and hauled away the old tank, replacing it with a new one. He was considerate to explain where the controls were and how to adjust the temperature. All worked out well and we can rest easy on this one part of owning an older home.

It took multiple attempts to talk to someone. I was told they do not service the brand of water heater I own. They would be more than happy to sell me a new one. I am not interested in purchasing a new heater. I require a refund.

We had a water heather emergency, with no hot water for a few days. Chris came out the day after I contacted fast water heater, gave me great advice on the best solution and promised to come the next morning and install. He arrived on time, installed the heater, did a neat job and hauled away the old one. Great service and reasonable pricing from this company.

I believe the technicians name was Mitch. I was very pleased with everything he did. He explained everything he had done, put a sticker with good emergency info on the water heater ... I didn't expect that kind of service. He even educated me on the blue thing that sits on top of the water heater. Now I know to watch it for failure in about 2 years and know how to tell. definately a Happiness moment.

Technician was quite good. Prompt, explained all the work he needed to do and completed the work satisfactorily. Cleaned up afterwards. I gave the rating of 'average' as to cost because the Angie's List coupon price of $799 wound up being $1400, when all was said and done. Yes, we upgraded to a 50 gal. heater which cost an additional $95 but then there were several other things that needed redoing for an additional $500 (house was originally built in 2000). A competing bidder at the time quoted about $1300 and said there was no way Fast Water Heater could replace one for $800 and indeed that was true. So I can only say the price was probably average for the work that was done.

I highly recommend Fast Water heaters. We have a two week old baby and our water heater went out unexpectedly over the Labor Day weekend holiday. I called a few places to see if we can get a service repair person to come out, all recommended by Angie's List, but few were able to make it due to the holiday. Fast was not only able to come out, they were able to come within a few hours after I called them. It was very comforting knowing that a company can respond to in such a short turnaround, especially when we had a new baby in the house. Mitch arrived and quickly got to work. He performed a thorough review with me before he started any his services. He was extremely detailed in his review and provided great suggestions. He outlined exactly what he was going to be doing and how much each of the services was going to cost. He was honest with what "really" needed replacement. Mitch completed his services in about 2 hours and walked me through what he had done when he was finished. He did a great job and the new water heater looks great. Mitch was extremely professional and I would recommend his services to anyone. Thanks again for such great work.
