We had a very unpleasant experience with Michael. When we purchased the house, items were missing from the house without any prior notice that this would happen. When we asked him about it, he would not refer to that missing item, but he claimed that he did remove broken appliances from the basement, and asked if we wanted them back. As there were no broken appliances removed (all of the broken appliances were still in place--the working second pump was the only item removed), this was highly unprofessional and came across as dishonest. We were also expecting a certain amount of fuel oil in the tanks, which we had budgeted to pay for with the purchase of the house. Unfortunately, whoever manages the accounts did not cancel the scheduled fuel deliveries, and a delivery came before we closed on the house. Michael attempted to get us to pay for the entirety of it (about $2,000), and only after we refused the order, and asked for it to be taken out of the tanks, did he offer it at a reduced cost. The whole encounter felt dishonest and misleading, and at the end of it, we felt as though we had been taken advantage of. I would sincerely encourage anyone to avoid working with Michael.
Description of Work: Michael was the seller's agent of the house that we purchased.
