Description of Work: We have had Nichols & Phipps out a number of times to our home and to rental properties. Recently we had them out to a rental property to repair the AC that they had worked on last year. The technician told the tenants that it was a warranty problem and that they would fix it at no charge. Sometimes they are a little booked up or need to order a part, but they are polite, capable, and honest.

Description of Work: Company rep came out promptly in response to my call when air conditioner stopped working and did an initial survey of the problem. I had called my regular air conditioner service who told me that it would be 5 days before they could come out. It was determined that they would have to come back to do a more thorough examination of the system to find leaks. But in the meantime the rep charged the system with freon so that I had air conditioning for a houseful of guests coming that weekend. Another rep came the next week and did the exam of the system and found two leaks and had to order a coil. The coil was ordered and replaced in one morning. It took longer than anticipated since the unit that went out is on my second floor and is accessible by attic access. I had to leave by noon so the rep told me that he would complete the interior work by noon and complete the outside unit work after I was gone and leave me the invoice. I paid and left and everything was complete and is working perfectly. A great job and done to my timing and specifications.

+ -1 moreTHEY DID A GOOD JOB AND CLEANED UP ANY MESS THAT WAS MADE. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE CLOSE BY SO IT MAKES THEM VERY CONVENIENT. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICES AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY, EVEN IF THEY WEREN'T AS CLOSE.
