Not only did Dan come out the same day we requested a quote, but he gave me a straight-forward assessment after inspection, and didnâ t charge me for the quote. Absolutely superb professionals! I was indeed very fortunate to have discovered American Plumbing, a company specifically experienced in repairing main water pipes. Dave, the company owner, , personally came out to inspect and diagnose the problem. Based on what I had heard from other people who had experienced similar main water pipe breakages, I was expecting Dave to tell me that heâ d have to tear up the front lawn to gain access to the water pipe. Instead, he confidently proposed that his course of action would not involve disturbing the front lawn. Instead, his solution would.include snaking a copper (not plastic) piping tube underground using the existing plastic tubing as a guide. His cost estimate was almost half of what the â big nameâ plumbing companies were asking. Daveâ s easy-going and honest manner, coupled with his 40 years expertise, and of course, the phenomenal estimated cost convinced me that the job would be done to perfection, on schedule, and within budget. I was right! I couldnâ t have been more pleased with the results. As scheduled, the other company head, Dan, (another amazing and superbly qualified pro) and his crew of two specialists proceeded to carry out the plan exactly as Dave had outlined. Minimal disturbance above-ground. The entire project, including the installation of new copper pipe, was surgically installed over the course of several hours. Dan and his crew were so meticulously clean that one would never suspect that any work had been done. Even the interior of the house was left in better condition! I rate Dan and his two-person team as the most efficient (and friendly) plumbing experts Iâ ve ever hired. I hope that my main water pipe doesnâ t break again for many years to come, but if it ever does, I know exactly who to turn to: Dave, Dan, and the experts at American Plumbing! I salute their old-fashioned, traditional American work ethic and the pride they show in their work. Truly flawless and top notch. Dan called me as soon as I requested a quote from Angi/Home advisor one evening and showed up on time the next morning to provide a quote. Communication was great throughout the week, and Dan, Dave, and others came to complete the work later that week. Again they showed up right on time, weâ re kind enough to explain everything to me, the work got done quickly, and they left my home, front yard, and garden cleaner than before they started working. It was great interacting and working with Dan, I was away on vacation when our main water line broke. Contacted him through Home Advisor. He visited my property the very next morning and gave an estimate and provided all the necessary info over phone and sent me the video and pictures of the problem. Decided to replace the Main line based on his advice instead of repairing the 35 year old pipe which was very brittle and could cause it to break later. they did a temporary repair to make sure we had water when we returned from the vacation. They scheduled the job a day after we returned from the vacation , Came for time, did their work as promised, super clean up job. Would recommend Dan for his professionalism and outstanding work.

Dan is very pro active, he gave me the name for a leak locator, call MissUtility to locate facilities, ask for permits, inspection, etc. He found a way to save my walkway and my bushes, the job was clean inside and outside, his team was very professional, everything was over my expectations. Dan was very responsive, compared to earlier plumbers I had tried to engage. The leak was found and fixed at the earliest possible time. He handled Miss Utility and Colonial Pipeline contacts, and directed me to Line Locators, who were also very responsive. He gave me a plausible reason (later proved correct) as to why the leak was in a different direction from the meter than one would expect, unlike others who couldn't explain it. Hole was dug and refilled cleanly, leaving only a few tire tracks.

Outstanding experience. Felt completely confident in their ability to do a top-notch job replacing my underground water pipe. Loved the communication! The best part: competitive price for superior work.
