The man from Chesapeake water did a wonderful job.

First off, Daryl (the rep) was great. Super friendly and on time. However, there was no attempt to assess/fix the problem. we received a quote for $700 to replace a broken garbage disposal. After a quick google search, the part itself is only $129.. so $500 for an hour of service? After another google search, we used an Alen wrench to rotate the flywheel and it was fixed. Overall, I don?t think it was the rep himself who was the issue, but he should of checked to see if this could of been a simple fix considering we still had to pay the fee for him to come out. Poor business model.

I know the charge was inflated for the cost of the water heater - not quite what I would call â gougingâ but clearly more than a reasonable mark-up for the appliance. However, I was impressed with the knowledge, professionalism, courtesy, and overall demeanor of the worker. I had no doubt that he wanted to fix the problem and that he would do it as best as it could possibly be done. If I have another problem, I will definitely call him to address it. I will, however, be more curious about how he arrived at the price reflected in his ( in my opinion and based upon my research), excessive retail mark-up.

The project has been postponed for three times; 1st was their office did not pushed the project for confirmation but was able to compensate with a discount then the 2nd and 3rd time was due to bad weather. Overall experience is good and they do offer military discount.
