They came out a did the Diagnostic and that was good but their estimate was too expensive so we didn't use them.

I had a fabulous experience with Air Treatment Company. Everything I could want in a contractor. Honest, punctual, clean, and our Air Conditioner runs great now. My hope is that I don't have to have any service done on my HVAC system for a long time, but if I do, I would immediately call Air Treatment again.

Technician only needed a minute to diagnose/repair problem of a stuck valve that was preventing hot water from circulating adequately.

One of the heat pumps in my mother-in-laws condominium was dying. Contacted several providers for replacement bids. While Air Treatment's bid wasn't the absolute lowest, it was competitive and seemed to include more. Good contact and follow-up. Replacement crew showed up on time and was very professional. Replaced the system and cleaned up everything before leaving. Would definitely use again.

This is the second time we've used Air Treatment Co. Our first experience with them was having them come out to inspect our furnace. The furnace is about eight years old and never inspected or adjusted since we had it installed. When I called to make the appointment, Sarah suggested we sign up for their $149.00 inspection, which would cover the furnace inspection and any adjustments, as well as an AC inspection in the Spring. Went ahead and purchased the deal (through Angies List), and made the appointment. Their technician (Ben) arrived exactly on time. He found numerous code violations made by previous installers (I expected that as I was never happy with how the prior installers did things). He also discovered that while we had purchased a 2-stage high-efficiency furnace, it had never been setup properly, so was running in single stage mode since we purchased it - thus negating any efficiency benefits we could have gained over the past eight years. He also discovered that the prior installers never bothered to adjust the gas flows, which were also incorrectly set and wasting gas. Ben quickly corrected all the issues, and everything was covered under the $149.00 deal. Ben also inspected our flue piping which was covered in calcium buildups. We'd never had an issue with the flue pipes prior to the furnance being installed eight years ago. Ben checked with some experts at Air Treatment, and the conclusion was that when we installed the high-efficiency furnace eight years ago, the installer should have replaced the flue pipe from single wall to dual wall (called b-vent) piping. He did note that the calcium buildups and condensation were not harming the furnace, but would eventually cause the flue to rust out. He contacted their office and got me a quote on the spot to replace the flue for $565.00. We contracted with them to return and replace the flue. Once again, they arrived exactly on time (different tech). The tech reviewed the work to be done, said it would take two hours, and went to work. He finished in just under two hours and did a fantastic job. We even think the furnace might be a bit quieter. All in all, we had two great experiences with Air Treatment Co, and will definitely use them in the future. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. We highly recommend Air Treatment Co.

Air Treatment told us we need a new unit and could no longer trust them. Air Treatment service us for the past 7 years until we needed another unit.

They were exceptionally thorough and informative. I am looking forward to having them back in the spring to look at my ac.

It went well. Setting up an appointment was easy, and the technician arrived on time. He immediately diagnosed the problem and offered a quote to have the issue repaired. He had the part he needed in his truck and so the process was very quick. The technician was knowledgeable and friendly, and while he did try to sell me a service plan, he was not pushy about it in any way (just presented it as an option). On the whole, I would strongly recommend this company.

The process went very smoothly. We worked with Phil. He came out to the house and gave us recommendations for our new HVAC. After we decided what new equipment we wanted -- we went with Carrier Infinity - the Air Treatment crew came to the house only a few days later - and they were able to complete the installation in one day. We are very pleased with our new equipment. Obviously, with winter approaching, it's great to have heat in the house. I would recommend Air Treatment to others.

We needed service this weekend but they are not open. We're going with another vendor.

Coupon did not work out, so repairman just informed us to contact Angie's List to get refund.

It went well. The person called 30 mins before arriving. He was polite and explained what he was doing.

We used three Angies List providers to provide bids to replace our heat pump and try to improve the overall effectiveness of our cooling. ATC shone high above all the rest. First, their salesman Philip was so experienced, knowledgeable and helpful. He took time to totally inspect the system in the attic (two others didn't even go up!) and he gave honest advice and there options/price points. Again the others only pushed the most expensive Cadillac version - I'm sure they were getting some kind of special promotion deal themselves. We took some time to evaluate the products and called back with questions - Philip was patient, helpful and informative. A lot of the good luck wit a new system is the quality of the install - our techs each had 10 years. They were so efficient, professional and clean. Our salesman even came that day too to explain the process and check in. And the new system works so much better than the old! The price was fair and the quality and service were excellent!

I arranged for a special price for the inspection through Angie's List. The tech was on time and dealt with my wife, who was at home at the time of the appointment. We had an odor on the side of the house that we couldn't identify, and we were concerned it was coming from inside the air conditioner unit located outside the house. The tech was on time and professional. He inspected the unit and found no problems. Although the unit is a bit old, he said it works fine and he did not recommend any repairs. I was happy with the service. Only criticism is that after he went through the air conditioner to inspect it, he left some small pieces of trash (fiberglass insulation) on the ground by the unit.

On time. Priced fairly installed next day. Very professional. They had installed new A/C unit and furncace in Oct. 2012. Safe, great service.

It turned out OK. They made it out fairly quickly. The price of the service was reasonable. I wished they would have provided repair and/or cost effective options.

The visit could not have gone better. We got the yearly service because we liked the service so much.

Frankly, I always had bad experiences with "routine checks". It was a way to "find" new problems that could be costly. BUT, I had a prior experience with Air Treatment, and was so impressed with their work I decided to give their check up a try. Fortunately, I had the same tech (Brian) stop by, and after a courteous greeting, he asked if I was still satisfied with the last repair he did on my system. I reported it was much better (a noise) but the gremlins were still there. But since the system is otherwise working well, to not bother with it. So Brian, obviously didn't hear the last part, and decided to find the noise, even though I said to ignore it. How many techs would do that? Anyway, he tried really hard and actually minimized the noise THEN went about the AC check. I know a little about AC systems (having worked for a builder in a prior life) and I was so impressed with the quality and scope of his work. He didn't mind my looking over his shoulder, and took the time to explain everything he was doing. AND when he got done, said the system was in good shape. He was a real delight, knew his stuff, and made me feel very comfortable with the work he did. So, bottom line, it couldn't have been any better.

We had a high-end, two-stage, 19 SEER heat pump installed in early May by another provider, and it exhibited significant performance problems. Repeated visits by the installer failed to resolve the problems, his recommendations contradicted what we had read on numerous web sites, and finding a Technical Service Advisor (TSA) from the manufacturer's customer service department was a joke. We contacted Air Treatment Co. through Angie's List hoping that they would be able to correct whatever had been done wrong. They responded promptly to my message and scheduled a visit by a senior technician (Carl) within a couple of days. They were exceptionally accommodating by calling me at work when Carl was finishing up the job scheduled ahead of ours. This allowed me time to leave work and meet him when he arrived. His visit nominally was to be a $39 Angie's List system check special, but he ended up spending over three hours with us because of the extensive work needed. (We were advised in advance that there would be additional costs; we readily agreed, and work proceeded.) Carl hadn't encountered this particular model before, and the original installer had neglected to leave the installation specs/diagrams with us. He was able to contact a manufacturer's TSA by phone (something that apparently hadn't occurred to the original installer), and corrected DIP switch settings with real-time assistance from the TSA. He then adjusted the refrigerant charge to within specified levels, and remained on site to check temperatures at various points to ensure that the system was working properly. The system has performed well ever since Carl's visit and is meeting our expectations. We clearly have found a company that we can have confidence in.

Service call was on the first day. Air conditioner installed on third day. Explained options clearly. Work was completed promptly.
