Kevin and his crew did a fantastic job gutting our downstairs bathroom, floor, shower, light fixture, vanity and even installed the new shower doors, He and his crew were always on time and worked around our work schedule. We we so satisfied we hired him to repaint our finished basement level.

I hired Kevin O'Brien to complete 3 lengthy projects for our home. We had our 1300 sq ft. basement finished, a 3rd bathroom installed and a 2.5 car garage constructed. All of these projects were performed at different times. What I love the most is the fair price. We told Kevin what we had to spend and he made it happen. If he needed more for whatever reason I trusted his reasoning. All of the projects were done in a timely manner. If I had a follow up question, he would come by the house and gladly answer all of my questions. I would hire Kevin again in a heartbeat.

We paid Mr. O'Brien (Kevin) an initial deposit on 11/13/13 f to build a deck. He was supposed to start and be finished by mid-December, however, we did not hear from him until after several calls, I finally agreed that he could start after Christmas. Again, we did not hear from him until I called to let him know that if he did not return my call and give me a firm start date, he would have to issue a refund to my credit card, that is when his contractors started to build the deck. The deck was completed on 1/16/14 however, after my husband and I carefully inspected it, we found several problems. One very obvious was the embedded red clay that was not cleaned during the building process which caused the clay to discolor the deck flooring. Mr. O'brien was to come back on 1/17 for the final inspection however, he never showed nor did he call. Mr. O'brien charged the final payment to my credit card without the final inspection with us, which we did ourselves and found several problems, however Mr. O'Brien charged the final payment to my credit card WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. I sent Mr. O'Brien several emails telling him that he had to remove the unauthorized charge, he did not contact me until 1/20/14 by email stating that he had an emergency "christening??" out of town. In the meantime, I initiated a dispute with my credit card company for the final unauthorized payment. We agreed to meet with Mr. O'Brien to discuss the problems that we had found with the deck. During this meeting I informed Mr. O'Brien that I would cancel the dispute once he completed the repairs, he never called or showed up to make the needed repairs, nor did he respond to my credit card company's inquiry therefore, my credit card company decided in my favor and credited my account. On 10/17/14, Mr. O'Brien resubmitted the charge thru his Square account under the name Kevin O'Brien, instead of KOB,LLC, which I had blocked from posting any charges to my card. I am now disputing this same charge again with a different company name. We never signed a contract or the proposal, because he never presented a contract, and I would not have signed a contract since we had problems initially. Mr. O'Brien's contractors did a fair to good job on our deck however, my concern is that Mr. O'Brien failed to inspect their work and he wasn't here most of the time during the building process nor he did make the repairs that we discussed with him on 1/17/14. Finally, Mr. O'Brien submitted charges to my credit card company for the second time that I did not authorize almost a year later. Lesson learned, do not let any company write down your credit card number "because he forgot his card reader".
