I asked them to clean my carpet in some rooms and hallways & stairs. They came on time and got right to work. They didn't try too hard to sell me extra services or conditioning. Though I was a little surprised I didn't see any furniture leg protectors under any of the furniture sitting on the wet carpets when they finished but none of the legs looked damaged or wet. Good price & service.

Rashad was the service provider for my carpet cleaning. He was enthusiastic, professional and upbeat. He was very meticulous and listened to me about my concerns and answered all of my questions. He was friendly and thorough. He explained everything he was doing and did a good job.

The provider cleaned, deodorized and color brightened our carpets. The service was excellent. He was on time, performed the work right away and was thorough. He asked about several spots and cleaned a hard to remove red stain from one of the daughter's bedrooms (nail polish?) . Am scheduling him for the other daughter's home. I will keep his number handy.

Overall, they did a good job. The tech worked really h****** some of the deeper stains on the carpet. The carpets looked really clean while they were still wet. However, some the stains have since reappeared since the carpets dryed. I would use them again, particularly if they have another cleaning special.

The provider was on-time, friendly, and kind. Some sections of our carpet were quite dirty so they charged us extra for a "deep clean." I know we paid the LivingSocial price ($49), so I was expecting about that for an upcharge. This was the second time we used them--definitely a good experience again.

I signed up for the Angie's List special of $107 to have up to 1,000 sf of carpet cleaned. The special covered most but not all of the carpet in the basement so I paid an extra $35 to have another room cleaned. Everything went very well. I was given a window of 8:00 - 12:00. The technician called around 8:45 to tell me he was leaving and would be there in about an hour which he was. The downstairs carpets had never been cleaned. The carpet in the rec room had some spots where the cat had thrown up. The carpets look great now and the stains are gone.

I had a $49 Groupon for basic carpet cleaning. My carpet was not especially dirty so I stuck with that and declined the "deep cleaning" which was never fully explained. I will say that the carpet looks clean but does seem to have a bit of soap residue. The huge problem, however, was that he used a huge amount of water (he filled his 5 gallon bucket at least 3 times) for an area of approximately 450 square feet. 4 days later the carpet was still damp even though the humidity in the house was very low during that period. The rug, which had been flat and well fitted, had so many big ripples that it looked like a mountain terrain within an hour or two of his departure. As the rug dried, the ripples became less pronounced but I had to pay to have the carpet restretched. When I called a gentleman who seemed to be the owner, he accepted no responsibility, instead insisting that the carpet and its installation had to be faulty. He kept saying "we did nothing wrong". He also said that I should have gotten the deep cleaning, whatever that was. He did offer to send someone out to look at it but I declined because it was clear that he wasn't going to do anything and I didn't want to deal with him anymore. I would have given this service an F except that the carpet seems to be clean and the technician was pleasant.

The cleaner arrived a bit late due to a miscommunication about my address. Otherwise, everything was great. They were very good about calling ahead to let me know they were on their way, which was nice since you sign up for a service window of about 3 hours. They did a great job cleaning the carpets. I have two dogs and my carpets now look and smell much better. It's a hassle to move all of the furniture out of the way, but totally worth it. If they offered a furniture-moving service, I would pay extra for that. I will use them again when I need another cleaning and would recommend them.

I ordered a Living Social deal - $49 for 'steam carpet cleaning' for up to 900 sq ft. I have a small house so it was prefect to me. It turned out that the 'steam cleaning' on Living Social means 'basic cleaning' by the provider's term. Scheduling the appointment was no problem at all, I was able to schedule within three days. I also decided to order a $25 'deep cleaning' add-on for my living room carpet, which has started smelling, and a $30 arm-chair upholstery cleaning. We had to move the furniture by ourselves to free up the carpet area. My appointment window was 8 to 12 am, the technician showed up just after 11 am. He was very friendly and likable. Before starting work, he re-confirmed the services I ordered, filled out the invoice and gave the total. The payment can be made by check, cash or credit/debit card. For credit card payment I had to call their office and didn't give the cc number to the technician. The work was done very quickly, probably within 30-45 minutes. All services (carpet and upholstery) were done with one type of equipment. The basic cleaning rooms and the arm-chair were dry by the end of the day (with all windows open on a low-humidity day and ceiling fans working all day). The deep clean living room took about 2 days to dry, and I put a 50g de-humidifier in it working for about 24 hours. Now, here is why I didn't give this service provider excellent ratings: 1) I wanted to know the difference between basic and deep cleaning, and although I asked two times (first when scheduling the appointment and then during service), I didn't quite get a very descriptive response. The explanation was basically 'more cleaning for deep clean'. Since the deep clean area was more wet, I guess he did use more water/steam for this room. The basic rooms were done very quickly, I was quite surprised with the speed. 2) After everything dried out, the dusty smell from the living room's carpet didn't quite go away despite the deep clean. The arm chair, which is used by my son quite extensively, also didn't smell completely fresh too. So, I am not sure if other services or methods could have done better in my situation, but I did expect a little bit more from this cleaning.

The crew was excellent, very professional and answered all my questions. The carpets were very clean when they left and they cleaned up after themselves. Was very happy with their work!

It was ok, they wanted to get into my garage, which was kind of unusual. In the future, maybe they should ask for access to the external outlet.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! We needed to get our townhouse ready to put back on the rental market. This company was willing to accommodate us with back to back days of house cleaning and carpet cleaning. Both crews did a great job. I will be using this company again and would use them for the house in which we live. In terms of pricing for a move out clean, they gave us the best quote. My husband said that the ladies did a thorough job.

They are very courteous, got the job done and cleaned up after themselves.

Shiny Carpet Cleaning cleaned the carpets in my apartment. I feel the price was good for the service provided. I would use them again in the future.

They charged my tenant an extra $25 to clean carpet because it was a different type of carpet. I called them and he said it was mistake and the restriction should have been included, and apologized that it wasn?t mentioned in the coupon. He then he said that since it was a different type of carpet, he would need to use a different type of chemical, even though on the coupon it doesn?t mention this. I asked for money back, and he said no. He just repeated that it was a mistake and should have been included We had a few words and I asked him to keep my file open while I looked into this further..
