Description of Work: They installed additional insulation in the attic. blown in fiberglass. They did a great job, but i'm a little disappointed that the lead in pricing ends up not really saving much over other vendors.

Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal - $99 For $500 Worth Of Blown In Environmentally Safe Attic Insulation. I just needed to add insulation to what I already had. They did just that, and did a great job. I'm very happy with the entire experience.

Description of Work: I purchased insulation deal and the vendor came out and gave us an estimate. I responded to them in two weeks that we cannot offered that much and canceled the job but we haven't heard from anybody nor got any refund. The manager at the Angie's list recently said we cannot get the refund because it's over 30 days although I canceled within 30 days. It is not the vendor's fault. Big disappointment with Angie's service!!

Adelphi explained what they would do, arranged a time that was convenient for me, and did exactly what I'd contracted for. I highly recommend them!

On the installation day the 2 workers arrived on time and did a fine job of blowing in the insulation. They were friendly, courteous, efficient and cleaned up afterward. |I prefer to patronize local businesses and I appreciate Angie's featuring Adelphia Exteriors. | |

Description of Work: This rating would be an across-the-board "A" but for one mix up at the beginning. The $99 deal seemed too good to be true and it was. The person who came to explain the deal apologized up an down that the add as presented by Angie's List was misleading in that the special was not for a complete attic but for a very small(100 sq ft or so) area--not for a full attic of about 1700 sq ft like mine. He claimed that the add is incomplete and that Adelphia Exteriors was at fault for not having caught the error in the first place. | |He then offered me a "special deal" given my disappointment over the incomplete offering. I accepted, and was ultimately happy with the work. I recently saw the "Deal" advertised on Angie's List again a few days ago. That tells me that they were not truthful with me or that somehow there is a lack of marketing quality control at Adelphia or at Angie's List!! | |Having said that, the work was performed on 29 May. It was a very prompt and professional job for which I am thoroughly pleased. | |
