Description of Work: Inspected insulation in attic and gave a price...standard fee for the square footage...we will hire them after the holidaze..this visit was off the cuff as it was an Angie's list offer. |Other firms do not charge for their inspections ,however, so the 49.95 was a bit out of character.

Gentleman was very understanding and suggested I contact Angie's list for a refund. While here he generously took a quick look at my attic to see if there was any problems. I sincerely hope I can get a refund for this deal. Thank you.

Description of Work: The guy checked my attic and said we needed to add up to 10' of fiberglass insulation over the whole attic and would charge us for $2500. My husband did not agree with his recommendation because my house was built in 2008. I hired another company that offer free estimation and found that one of bedrooms had no insulation and showed me that picture. So we added cellulose for ONLY one bedroom for only $200. EVERYTHING is perfectly warm now. So I don't recommend to use the original company, ADELPHIA EXTERIORS.

Description of Work: two guys showed up, on time. one walked through the job with me while the other brought in dropcloths and plastic to cover everything, and brought in the hose to blow the insulation. I think it only took an hour or so once they set up, then they cleaned up carefully, I signed off, and they left. Very prolite, efficient and professional.

Description of Work: They blew insulation in our attic. We had to put it on hold while we finished renovating the upstairs, but once that was done, I just called and they came out in about a week. They did a great job in the procedure as well as cleaning up. I would recommend them again.

Description of Work: I don't know how the install went as the work will be done on the new owner's schedule. The quote process was OK. They responded to my first contact fairly quickly. After that there was some confusion on the day the quote would be made. I tried to schedule it for Monday at 11 am but they didn't show up. I called to see what was going on and they were very apologetic. Apparently, the email I sent did not reach them but they were able to come out early the next day which was fine. They showed up right on time the next day and had my quote within an hour. I was pleased with the quote, signed the contract and after that I have no idea what happened.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal from Angie's list and contacted the provider on the same day. About 10 days later when I had not been contacted, I emailed them. They responded and came out about a week later. Then gave me a quote which added about $1500 to the deal. Then he told me that part of the work might not actually solve the problem we were having with the heat. So he had basically recommended we not do that part. I asked if I could get the other part of the job and would it be covered under the deal and they said no, it would not be covered under the deal. He was not bad to work with but at this point I just need the refund.

Description of Work: They sealed and insulated my attic area. All went well and the workers were very professional. One note I should mention: the amount of insulation covered by is negligible. There is a savings of about $400 but the cost will be considerably more to add a reasonable level of insulation to an attic.
