We had purchased their Big Deal for having insultation blown in our attic. The gentleman who came to the house inspected the attic and stated that we needed a deeper amount of insulation than what was covered in the deal and provided us with the price. We appreciated that he took the time to educate us about what we really needed so that we weren't stuck having it done over again in the near future. We were not able to proceed at that time but are still planning on having them complete the service they suggested.

Great! They showed up to give us an estimate and walked us throughout the process and company history. They arrived as scheduled for the work, and it was completely without issue. They cleaned up after they were done, and our house is now much better insulated! We can feel the difference, as our upper level rooms used to be quite warm in the summer prior to the new insulation being added.

George and his team made me feel reassured that the quality of of work and service was top of the line. Their presentation walked me through who the company was, how they do business and it really made me feel comfortable doing business with them. They were with me from start to finish and really went above and beyond my expectations for the project. I always had a direct line of contact with the owners and the agent assigned to my project. I couldnt be happier with the results and would happily recommend them to all my friends and neighbors. I wish all companies i did business with made me feel this comfortable, supported and happy with their quality of work.

George and his team assisted us in sound proofing a basement bedroom. While this was not a normal job for their company, George took the time to research different ideas and products to make sure we did the job right. We had Nick lead the actual project and he was here with us from the beginning to the end. As soon as the team dropped the ceiling they immediately alerted us to some electrical problems that we needed to be fixed. They also identified a broken dryer vent pipe. Nick was able to fix the dryer pipe for us and was patient as we got an electrician in to fix the other problems. When the job was finished, the drywall work and painting were excellent. We were very pleased with the work that Adelphia performed and we would highly recommend them.

; The technician determined the configuration of my house would not permit an effective insulation job; the attic ceiling is too low for access. He offered a refund (which I turned down) on the cost of the Angie's List Deal.

The Big Deal was a good deal, so I ordered it. The company was responsive and did a good job assessing my situation. the proivided a good recommendation to improve the insulation in my fourth floor. However, the cost to do the job was more expensive than I anticipated and decided to just live with the current situation. I would contact Adelphia again if I our situation changes or I have another need for their services.

Adelphia initially won this job because they were the only contractor I asked for quotes from that didn't miss appointments, but I'm very glad I went with them based on the quality of the finished job as well. They had a very competitive cost and the work was done well. The job was well cleaned up, no mess or damage of any kind. The upstairs of floor of my very hard to condition townhouse is definitely improved. All appointments were on time - initial consultation, estimate measuring, and the actual job were all punctual. I would use them again!

Adelphia exteriors came out to give us an estimate on a roof replacement. After getting a few estimates we decided to move forward with adelphia. The quote was very competitive and the quality of the install was excellent. They were on time for both installs and did a great job and cleaned up very well. We added an r-30 of attic insulation and replaced our entire roof and would defiantly recommend this company.

Representatives from Adelphia Exteriors were walking door to door in our neighborhood advertising their business and offering free estimates. Usually, I wouldn't be interested, but in reviewing them on Angie's List, they had gotten excellent reviews. We made an appointment and they quoted a price for the job. After committing to have the work done for a discounted price on the day of the appointment, I was uncertain about the square footage of what they would be covering. After they left, I reviewed our house plans and actual square footage for the attic. Our attic is an irregular space because of cathedral ceilings over the family room and master bedroom and bath. They had quoted the price of $4,000 based on covering 1900 square feet at a cost of $2.30 a square foot (minus discount), but the actual area was only 1,200 square feet. I called them back and noted the discrepancy. They came back to remeasure and got our square footage. Simple error or was it an inflated price deception? We did later learn that one of the estimators was in training. We agreed to a new price of $2,721, and they did the job on time and with what appears to be good quality. Overall, we're happy with the job, but customers need to be aware of the actual square footage of their attic to arrive at a fair price!

George Koutsis came to estimate attic insulation for my townhouse. His initial bid was $1,386 for bringing my attic insulation (700 sq ft) to R-49 (effectiveness of amount of insulation to be installed). He gave an excellent presentation. I asked if I could get both the Angie's List discount and the senior citizens' discount and he said no but then worked his price down by both of those anyway (totaling 15% off). He reduced the amount again and casually mentioned R-44. He offered another, final, discount - down to a total of $1,016.40 - if I'd sign right there and cancel a 2nd estimator I had already scheduled. I declined. Then he said he'd give me that final discount if I just called the next day after seeing the 2nd company, and he wrote on the bid that he'd match any price. In 10 or 15 minutes, he'd come down more than 25%, which left me feeling his first price had been too high & he'd been playing me for a fool. After he left, I noticed he'd penciled in R-42 - a further reduction in insulation, which he didn't mention. The 2nd company that came, Discount Energy Services, came up with the exact same bid - $1,386 for insulation to R-49. They apparently both used the same calculations to get that amount, so I'm wondering if there is, in fact, competition in this business. Discount Energy Services had a $25 Angie's List discount. I did no bargaining, paid the bill, and got my R-49 insulation installed. Reviews of companies that haven't done work probably shouldn't have an "Overall" rating. Based on his presentation, I figure the company would have done a good job of insulating my attic. But having the price drop so rapidly and those quiet reductions in R-value from the standard for this area, to which I'd agreed, left me uneasy about hiring this company.

I called the company to get an estimate for installing insulation in my attic. Two representatives came to my house and looked at the attic. They said that it would be a difficult job because there is such limited space between the attic floor and ceiling, which doesn't provide enough space for someone to go in there. They said that they needed to consult with others in their company and would send me an email with their proposal and an estimate. It's been two weeks and I'm still waiting. This reflects poor professionalism and customer service. Even if the company felt that this wasn't a job that they wanted to or were capable of undertaking, someone could have followed up by email or phone call to let me know. Update 07/21/2014: The provider followed up after my review posted. After my conversation with Adelphia, I changed my rating from F to C, but didn't give a higher rating for several reasons: the provider took several days to follow up after their staff came to my house; the provider did a poor job following up as they emailed me at an incorrect address; and, while I understand that everyone can make a mistake (i.e., typing the wrong email address), the provider could have done a better job in following up through other means, such as calling me or sending a message on Angie's List. However, the provider only properly followed up after I posted a negative review.

Kept everything clean, quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Representative came to home to review options and was up front right away about the miscommunication regarding the Angie's coupon. We discussed the options - I chose eco-friendly cellulose, he inspected the attic and gave me the quote. The installation team arrived at the beginning of the window and did a good job. They wore the protective clothing & boot covers in the house and were careful not to bang the walls with the equipment. The hose had to come up through a front window which made me a little nervous; windows are relatively new, but no damage done. They even insulated the attic hatch. There was some residual dust from the installation which I would expected with blown cellulose but most of the flat surfaces had been wiped down. Ended up paying more than what some of my neighbors did with other contractors but without being able to compare exact same services, I'm okay with what I paid. Very nice with the follow-up as well!

They came out to my home and gave me an estimate. They were on time, professional and they brought a lot of samples of the differnt types of siding we could chose from. They also brought brochures. They were very informative and was very nice to explain everything to us and offer us choices. I finally decided on one and then changed my mind and needed to see the sample again. They were kind enough to bring it out to me. He also was kind enough to drive with me to a house in the neighborhood that had the siding that I liked. Our siding is suppose to be finished around the fist part of July. I will be leaving a follow-up review. As of right now, I am very happy with this company. Finally siding installation completed last week of July and we are very happy about Adelphia's services. There are few minor repairs and they fixed it immediately. Overall rating excellent job and will recommend them to our friends and family.

George Koutsis of Adelphia was friendly enough and came to my house to give me an estimate. I was expecting some extra cost to have insulation installed, but not an additional $1500. The ad was misleading and he even admitted it. May try again at a later date and when it is more reasonably priced.

George came within 2 days of calling for a quote. Pricing was reasonable, and about what I expected based on other reviews Scheduled one week out. Work crew of two arrived on time, covered floors and stairs with plastic for protection, added insulation, I checked when they were finished, all work performed as stated. They cleaned up- no mess. Did what they were supposed to at a good price, no hassles for me- I liked it!!

It went very well. Two workers arrived on time, were clean, respectful, fast and efficient. They cleaned up after the job was done. They invited me to inspect their work. Am very satisfied.

They have not done the work yet, but they have been nice to deal with so far.

The job went extremely well. We had been told that the job would take about 2 hours, and that was exactly how long it took. Before the crew started doing its installation, we were told that some of the ductwork in the ceiling was shedding insulation. They also reconnected the ductwork to the heat pump unit. When the 2-person crew finished the job, we were asked to do an inspection to satisfy ourselves that the work was acceptable. It was. There was almost no clean up despite the fact that two separate attic areas required a substantial amount of insulation. The hose was used only after a large amount of plastic sheeting had been laid on the floors and carpets.

George was on time and very courteous however Adelphia was unable to perform the service due to the attic access point.

The team was early, polite, neat, and even happy. The issues we were having are gone. It's that simple. They were absolutely wonderful to work with...from the owners to the team who showed up to do the work. I HIGHLY recommend them and I am a very picky person when it comes to my house!!!!!

They were very good. My first impression with them was positive. I liked their prompt response to our calls and doing the job promptly. I would probably not use them again because I don't anticipate needing insulation again.

Contractor worked directly with me (the house owner) in explaining work to be done and returned to check on progress as team performed the work. One nice part of this project is that photos were provided to me of the completed project as I was unable at that time to crawl into the attic spaces due to a knee problem. Mr. George Koutsis was most helpful. I would use this company again

the attic when it was completed. I was very pleased by their workmanship and they cleaned up an minor insulation in the hallway.
