I selected this company because I like to support small businesses. They did not answer calls nor did they return calls promptly. We paid them to come out and they diagnosed one thing but it turns out it's not that. Then the story became, that part is on backorder and you should consider buying a new unit. The part is not on backorder. If you need an appliance fixed, do yourself a favor call the manufacturer before calling a local repair company.

He repaired my refrigerator quickly and now it works so well! They are a very nice company to deal with. Very kind and efficient. Old fashion customer service and they seem to care about their clients needs. I highly recommend Tommy D for all of of your repair needs.

Tommy D fixed the relatively minor problem efficiently. The tech was prompt and very quick about the repair.

Tried repairing wall oven, but old wiring in a very old old wall oven made it unsafe so I had to purchase a new one.

The repair to our oven took two visits because he did not have the required blower on hand. That was completely understandable. He scheduled the next visit and promptly completed the repair.
Tommy never over promises and he is always on time for his scheduled visits.

My front-loading washer wasn't spinning properly and of course, a few days before we were to move it stopped draining. We couldn't move a washer filled with water so I called everyone I could find to see if they would come out to, at the very minimum, drain the water out. Either the company I called didn't work in my area, they were too expensive, or they didn't have an available appointment. Finally another provider recommended Tommy D Appliance Repair.
Mr. Wiggins came out the day after I called. He was on time (unfortunately I wasn't!) and he fixed the problem right away. Even told me how to replace the pump if, after the move, it stopped working! I would highly recommend Tommy D Appliance Repair!

Mr. Wiggins came out in terrible pre Sandy weather and spent some time examining the disposal unit and testing the dishwasher. he confirmed that we needed a new pump and also noted I needed a new plug for my rinse agent compartment. He was kind and patient and gave me some useful tips for more optimal use of the dishwasher. He and his son came back on 11/5/2012 when the parts had arrived and they replaced the pump promptly and efficiently. They really work well as a team. They were very professional.Since they do warranty work I know if I have any other issues with this dishwasher I will request them when I call Lowes. This work was fully covered by my service contract.

A service call was placed with American Home Shield the evening of May 29th and Tommy D called the next morning and came to fix our washed that morning. They showed up on time had the problem fixed within an hour. The pump filter had a couple of items in it but was not completely clogged. A loose electrical connection was found which was the root cause of the washer failing to drain. The technician was friendly, clean and professional.

He's very hardworking; he will commitment to coming out to work on your appliance or see if he can.

I would highly recommend this company. They are very professional and prompt.
