Description of Work: I purchased a big deal with Old Dominion Outdoor Services for $199 for $400 worth of tree services. They trimmed one large tree.

Description of Work: They left a bunch of branches undone because they didn't have a branch cutter. They were very nice but I can't say that they did a full job because when I came back from being out of the country there were a bunch of dead branches. They did the best that they could with everything they had. It never occured to me to see if they had a very long branch cutter so next time before I have the service done I'll be sure to check.

Description of Work: removed a tree on the side of the yard by climbing and sawing. Unable to get any equipment near the tree. Also ground the stump and one other in our yard.

Description of Work: Before I purchase the deal, I sent an email to the Service Provider to see if he provides services in Ashburn Va where I have a rental property and my tenant needs to have a tree cut asap. He responded immediately with an email stating that he does provide services in Ashburn, Va. I purchased the deal and sent him an email and asked whether he can meet me at the rental property which is 40 Miles away from my house on Thursday, March 7th at 2:00pm. I didn't hear back at all that day. So I called the phone # on the purchase order. A lady answered and said that Troy is at work and he probably can not schedule an appointment on Thursday afternoon because he works and it has to be in the morning. I told her that is no problem how about Monday or Tuesday in the morning. I told her that I work and I need to get a scheduled time so I can put it on my calendar because I need to drive to the rental property. I didn't hear back anything either via email or a call. So I called again on Wednesday and the lady told me that he is on a job clearing snow and he has received my email and my call about meeting on Monday or Tuesday and will call back. I told her that Troy can just drop me an email and let me know what date and time works best for him but I need to put it on my calendar because it is a rental property and I need to know myself and my tenant. I still haven't heard back from them and I find this very aggravating that I need to chase my service provider for an appointment. I wouldn't have mind if he had dropped me an email and had told me that his schedule is full and he can get me on his schedule the last week of March but for him to be non-responsive is unacceptable. I am not sure I am comfortable with him making an appointment and for me to drive 40miles to my rental property and for him not to show up. That's why I don't want to deal with him and I already found another Tree Service on Angie's List "Bamboo Tree Service" that I will call as soon as I get my $199 back.

Description of Work: Revitalized my back yard for my daughter's graduation party. Troy estimate about 4 1/2 days work and quoted a reasonable price along with the cost of materials. This job consisted of trees trimmed, 1 tree removed, installed border pavers around three gardens, repaired a small retaining wall, installed cap stones on an older cinder block wall, another layer of landscaping rocks (8 tons of rock) around the pool deck, cleaned gutters, removed squirrel nests. Trimmed all of the shrubs and bushes around the front and back yard, removed old wood pile. Mr. Cooper and his helper are professionals, they arrive, complete the work and clean up afterward, leaving the area much nicer. The company has been around for many years, and I've use their services for the past 3 years and have finally gotten around to making a report. Mr. Cooper's business card reads: tree services (removed 2 large trees, and several scrub mulberry trees), stump grinding, mulching, landscaping, snow removal, sod installation, gutter cleaning, some home improvements.
