Description of Work: We have had everything from inspections and oil changes done, to major repairs like new engines and transmissions. ( and got hand-written thank you cards for doing business with them!) We have been going here for over 11 years and have never had anything but The Best Service. Most importantly, they have always been so honest, often telling us what could wait to be fixed later, as opposed to so many places that we have been that push to find as many things as possible to fix right away. That makes such a huge difference to me as a female when my husband is out of town or unavailable. They have truly treated us like family, even coming to my rescue once when I got stuck in the median on Reston Parkway - for free!! It's in a great location, too, right across from Oracle where I work. And when there are days that I don't feel comfortable walking across all those lanes of traffic to get to my office, they happily drive me over in their shuttle vehicle. We have nothing but superlatives for Jaimie & Butch & all those at Wiygul Goodyear - not one negative experience in all these years. Highly recommend to everyone I know!!!

I wouldn't trust them to do my state inspection. | |They installed a battery wrong, which then caused my EBCM to fail. They said they would fix it - and give me 20% off. Um. NO. I should NOT have to pay for shoddy workmanship.

+ -1 moreEmployees are personable, but not $120 worth. I was disappointed that they did not test drive the car after the repairs and had to bring in back and wait another hour for them to make it right.
Description of Work: We've used this service for many years because it is in Reston and easy to drop off, but after this experience we will go to a dealer. They did advise of a Warranty Repair from a 'check engine' light, but failed to test drive the car after rotating the tires. Had to return to the shop to have them correct the problem. When we took it to the dealer the next day for the warranty work, we learned that they had overcharged us at least $120 for the 40K maintenance items they performed.

+ -1 moreWork was completed on time. We paid for a complete engine flush that we might not have had done if we had understood the charge for it. Partly our communication (didn't ask enough questions).
Description of Work: Took the car in for overheating, warning light. They checked, said it needed a new thermostat and were authorized to do work. They called to suggest replacing the timing belt due to the mileage which was early but doing the work now would save money when the belt would need changing in a few more thousand miles. The Subaru thermostat location required some engine disassembly.

Description of Work: I have been taking my cars into JW at Reston Tire & Auto for 15 years. The last time I took my VW in, it needed an oil change and a headlight replacement. Volkswagens are notoriously hard to work on. Changing a headlight is a nightmare... it took them an hour. After all that time and trouble fixing it, they gave it to me no charge. Great people and great work.
