+ -1 moreI used Wiygul since 1987. I was very happy with their work until my last visit in 2013. On that visit I encountered a new crew running the place. I was sold goods and services I don't think I needed (tires, brake overhaul). Also I believe I was charged too much. Since I could not really prove my case I just haven't returned. I have my cars serviced elsewhere. I am puzzled why Wiygul used me as a reference since I have not done any business with them in over a year.

I've never been disappointed with any service performed and am thankful they are within walking distance of both work and home. + -1 moreThey failed my car, saying that the headlight covers were too cloudy, and would clean them for $195. I declined their offer and cleaned them by myself with a kit from Kmart for $10. They then reinspected my car (without charge), and it passed.

+ -1 moreMy Blazer overheated on the toll road on the way to work. I called and got towed to Wiygul. They told me they would try to get the work done the same day but couldn't guarantee it as they had to order the part. Then they gave me ride to work! Then, about 2pm they called to let me know my Blazer was ready to go. They even offered to come pick me up from work if I couldn't get a ride to the shop. To say I was pleased is a complete understatement. These guys are great and I'd recommend them to anyone who lives or works in the Reston area!

They had a car service where when a car was being repaired, they would drive you either home or to work. That was a very nice feature.

+ -1 moreI am not happy with them at all. Wiygul just wanted me to spend money. I had work done with them before, and the quality was fine.
Description of Work: I have an older car, and when I asked what I needed to do, to get past inspection, they wanted me to spend thousands and thousands of dollars for all kinds of things, and when I went to my little local automotive guy, he gave me 3 things that I needed to get done to pass inspection. Wiygul recommended $4000 worth of work, so I just went somewhere else.

+ -1 moreI was very pleased with them. They were pretty honest and got the work done on schedule. I never had any problems and I didn't have to take the car back after it was repaired. At the time it was convenient for me. The price was inline with what others would charge.

+ -1 moreIt was a bad experience. We had gotten good service from them in the past but this one experience kind of tainted the past.
Description of Work: We used Wiygul Automotive Clinic because my wife saw and smelled smoke coming from the steering column of her car. She took it in and they told her it was probably just condensation from the air conditioner until the wiring caught fire. They had to order a replacement that had to get shipped over from Germany. That one burned up because they didn't find the short that was causing the problem. They had to order a second one. When we finally got the car back, they had put the steering wheel on upside down so we had to take it right back to fix that. The cruise control has not worked since.
