Steve from Omega was great. He worked with my Mom and her insurance company to file a claim based on storm damage. He even returned on the date the adjuster stated he would be out to review the roof. Without Steve's work I highly doubt the insurance claim would have worked out so well. After the claim was complete Steve quoted the roof and came in much lower than numerous other contractors we called for quotes. He arrived the job and completed the job in one day. This included having the material and dumpster arrive the day before the work, strip the old roof of, put on a new roof, ice guard, flashing and ridge vent. He was rather meticuolus in his work and clean up efforts. He even had the dumpster picked up the next morning. All in all we are very happy with Steve and Omega contracting LLC.....I decided to call the owner of the company in Virginia prior to signing the contract and he was very professional on the phone. We are now quoting siding for the house and expect to sign with Omega in the spring for that job as well.

Oct 2012 I was solicited by Omega Contracting to give a free exam of my roof for storm damage. After seeing pictures Rami Ali (project manager) took of the shingles, I agreed to have them phone my insurance company to start the process. The adjustor came and the project manager went up on the roof with him. When the adjustor made his final decision, it was only for 75 shingles to be replaced and not a complete roof teardown. I informed Omega and sent over the paperwork. I told them if they felt this was incorrect, they'd have to deal with the insurance company. At this point, I began chasing Omega to find out when they'd schedule the work. I'd send e-mails to Mr. Ali, and get excuses. Finally, well after the New Year, I called and asked to speak to the owner of the company. Mr. Hutchinson told me he'd have someone else come out as Mr. Ali was in New Jersey handling claims from Hurricane Sandy. A John Sieple showed up. He said he was the area project manager. This was on 6/19/13. We signed a new contract for a little over $1200.00. He said it would only take about 2 hours to get this little job done. And that was that. I never heard from him again. On 7/21/13, I called Omega, asked for Mr. Hutchinson and asked if he remembered me...he did. I said I was tearing up the contract and never ever wanted to hear from Omega again. He said he understood. Omega seems to want the total roof job, rather than the small job, in my estimation.

The salesman was in our neighborhood and asked if he could do an inspection of our roof for storm damage. Once he was done he showed me pictures of the damage and promised to provide an estimate for our insurance company. he promised to come back in a few days and drop off the paper work. After about a week I called their main office and told them that their agent never came back as promised. A manager then called me back and apologized and promised to send out another agent. He did come out and looked at our roof again. and had us sign a contingency contract. We then waited again for over two weeks until they finally sent us their quote. we sent that to our agent who flat out told us that the work was overpriced. We had a local contractor look at our roof and we had a price the following Monday and it was significantly less than Omega with comparable scope. Omega never returned as promised with color samples and other than a phone call several weeks later asking about whether the insurance company had settled the claim we never heard from them again.

A friend referred Omega to us, and they were really good. They did a good job working with our Home Owners Insurance. The total cost was about $12,000, and we just had to pay $1000. They took care of all the paper work. They were very professional, and thorough. They were really friendly. He came out before, during, and after the job to check up on things. They left a bit of a mess in the back yard, and we called to complain. Omega came back the same day and did a very thorough job cleaning up. He came back the following day to make sure everything was taken care of. He even brought a jar of his Mom's homemade apple butter as a thank you gift! Omega did a top quality job on the roof. We had 3 other estimates, including a couple from Angie's List. I wasn't really thrilled about them. One of them hounded me, and kept calling and calling at least 30 times! Omega had a giant reference list, that included a couple of my neighbors.
Description of Work: We used Omega Contracting in February. They replaced our roof and gutters. Home Owners paid for most of the cost. Omega actually got on the roof and found that there was hail damage that damaged the gutters. We ended up getting an entire new roof and gutters. Omega was the cheapest, and gave us the best possible service. They knew when the storms happened, and the damages that resulted.
