They run their business like a military organization and really do a good job. Price wise they are even in their market, but they turn out excellent work. They have never sent anyone out that isn’t well put together and represents the company at the highest standards. They didn't leave any dirt behind and were very courteous.

We were quoted $650 to replace the disposal, and when my husband tried to decline, the workman replied that we already owed a diagnostics charge of $300 (not the $80 we had been quoted on the phone), so he went ahead with the work. When we called later for an explanation of why the fee was so high (a part worth $100 was installed in less than an hour) and why the diagnostics charge was different, it took nearly a dozen phone calls to get through to a manager, and even then, we were refused any explanation. They wouldn't give the model number or price of the disposal installed, and they won't give an hourly rate. In addition, the workman left the "knocker" in when he did the job, so our dishwasher wouldn't drain, and it took two weeks for them to send someone out to fix it. (At that visit, they also offered to fix a leak they noted in the same sink...for the bargain price of $700.) We did pester them enough to get some of our money back, but were told that the head manager was "too busy to deal with it", and we still have received neither an explanation nor an apology for the workman's lie about the call charge, the installation error, the dozen phone calls we had to make, or the failure to explain the exorbitant fees. If you hire this company, expect unexplained high prices, disregard for advertised policy, poor workmanship and zero accountability.

Had some drains back up, so I called My Plumber. They had done one minor job for me in the past that went ok, and I really needed to get this fixed (obviously). They said they could be there that afternoon. It was 7:30 pm by the time they arrived, and they said that couldn't see outside to find the septic tank in the dark and would have to return the next morning. The following day, their guy said he could snake out the line to the tank (30') but it would cost nearly $1,000. I was shocked, but I haven't had a drain snaked in nearly twenty years and I desperately needed that line cleared. I signed off on it (which makes me madder than h***) but the more I look into it the more upset I get. My Plumber took advantage of me and charged me an outrageous fee because they knew I was desperate. Won't call these guys again!

We had new cabinets and counter-tops installed in our kitchen but that vendor wasn't licensed to install the new faucet or reattach our garbage disposal (we thought this was strange, but oh well). We called My Plumber to come out for the job because we wanted it done right. They wouldn't give me an estimate over the phone, which should have been my first clue. The time frame given was 4 to 8 p.m. on a Friday and the gentleman arrived very close to 8 p.m. After assessing the situation and checking his manual, we quoted us about $750 for the job. We were floored! Even though it was very late at night and we were desperate to get our kitchen back in order, we couldn't justify spending that much. We turned him away. My husband rolled up his sleeves the next morning and had the job done in less than an hour. And it's been working fine in the three months since. What a racket! They should be ashamed of themselves for charging that much money.

They've done good work for us. They did a great job. The price was competitive but plumbers are all expensive.

When they come out to do an inspection, if you use their service, the service fee is waived. They give you an accurate and honest assessment of the work that needs to be done. They do excellent work and the service is completely within a reasonable amount of time. For the first year, they gave me a service contract for free as a special bonus. They also offer same-day service, which is phenomenal.

They were the only company to offer to replace the Furnace, HVAC, and Water heater for a great price. I am now saving over $200 on electricity and my water heater is now twice as big as the old one. Plumber was a little behind, due to another customer, but the job was still done on the same day as promised.

I woke up to no hot water, I called My Plumber, they arrived and replaced water heater in same day. No problems since. I had used them previously when I had drains that needed to be cleaned the service was equally as efficient and courteous.

Muhammad A. was very courteous and knowledgeable. It was very clear to me that he would not leave until I was completely satisfied. Thank you for a great experience. I will definitely call My Plumber for all of my plumbing needs.

1. I brought in MyPlumber on Friday, December 28, 2012, after pipe separated from fitting that provided hot water to home the night before. This resulted in no hot water in the home on one of the coldest days of the year during the Holiday Season with a long weekend coming up. 2. My regular plumber was booked and not available. 3. Technician arrived and did not provide price to replace the failed fitting ? the only reason he was there. 4. Technician said additional 3 joints (2 cold water and 1 hot water) were bad and going to fail as well. 5. Also implied water heater was old and a risk. It seemed to me he was trying to sell me a new one. 6. Technician only presented price to replace four fittings - $900 dollars and price to replace 2 short polybutylene pipes (less than five feet) with copper - $1400 and discount to $1300. 7. I felt under pressure to replace everything despite the steep price and elected to replace polybutylene pipe with copper at a price of $1300. 8. Watched the entire job done by technician. 9. Total effort took less than an hour and used less than $100 of material. 10. Will not use MyPlumber again because felt pressured, taken advantage of and charged unreasonable price. 11. If I were faced with the same situation again, I would request a price on the 1 fitting and call in my regular plumber for a second opinion on the rest.

Both technicians were highly competent and professional, and, unlike an earlier company we had contracted through Angies' List to perform similar services, they did not spend a lot of time trying to up-sell unnecessary devices. They performed their inspections, then recommended work and devices they thought we should consider. The plumber inspected a toilet I had turned off because I thought the seal was leaking, and he determined it was not, so we put it back into service. He also identified another toilet about to fail, so we took that one out of service until it can be replaced. I will definitely use this company in the future.

Overall, it went well. Ray was excellent and thorough. I called back for him in November 2012 but he's no longer working there. The person they sent, Lawrence, was also excellent and made sure my issue was corrected the same day I called. Lawrence also left written instructions what to do if my issue (which was very simple) happened again without making me feel incompetent. MyPlumber staff members are all very knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough.

Went well pleased with service but not the price

The technicians that came out were fantastic. Incredibly nice, professional, and helped explain things clearly. The quality of work was A+ and I feel that the price was reasonable for the services we had completed. However....Cross your fingers that you don't have to speak to Jason. I've never been more offended as a customer over the phone. I had inquired about additional services for another time (I was pleased with the work the technicians did already) and asked for what pricing would be. When I explained to him the budget that my wife and I were working with he became hostile on the phone. He did his best to make you feel like an idiot for not knowing about HVAC services and was angered when I asked how he came to the pricing (how much are parts, how many hours, rate for service, etc.). I literally had to ask him "did I say something to offend you?". I ended up not getting the work done with them and later found out that he was trying to charge me 3 times what others were charging. The price is not what bothered me, but rather the complete lack of professionalism. I would consider working with MyPlumber again as long as Jason was not involved in the process. I emphasize that the technicians that actually completed the work did a great job and were a pleasure to work with.

Very satisfied with the professionalism all around. We knew when and who to expect. An email was sent with the plumbers photo and background which is great for security reasons. A nice touch!! Mr. Rene Garcia was the Master Plumber. he didn't have a replacement part, so we (well the boss) decided to just go with a new faucet. Mr Garcia was very professional and proficient. we highly recommend him. The downside, even with a 10% discount, the total cost to replace a leaking kitchen faucet with a Moen (priced $196 @ Lowes) and an hour and fifteen minutes worth labor is extreme for $702. Angie, needs to provide another option above for the question: "Would you use this company/individual again in the future?" and add "Not Sure". I say this because the overall experience was was outstanding until it came to the price. I didn't have time to call around and get estimates and others were booked because of the holiday so I don't have anything to come too. If money in no object, I'd use them again, but at this point, I'd have to do some price comparison which is difficult since most won't tell you. Another suggestion for Angie, detail prices like I did in a matrix so others can compare.

We bought a 1947 house and apparently our inspector was sleeping on the job. One evening my husband and I were cleaning the kitchen when he turned on the garbage disposal and what he was grinding down on his side was whooshing up in my face on the other side like Old Faithful. While it makes for great laughter now, at the time, it was not so funny. We called in Myplumber on short notice, obviously and they sent a gentleman over with a the usual tools, but he also had a camera. When he could not snake out the drain, he sent a camera down about a 100 feet (I think it was) and showed us the footage. There were so many things wrong, it is hard to recount all of them, but we could see where one pipe had literally just been laid in side another, our toilet pipe was feeding into our kitchen outpipe (eww gross), and a lot of the other pipes were old, deteriorating and down to nearly no room for gunk and buildup. Long story short, seeing this made us quick to sign any dotted line for a fix. Myplumber scheduled a day to come back and resolve the issues. They were punctual and worked long and hard that day in our crawlspace to ensure that all of our pipes were completely swapped out and saudered with new ones. They even had to dig under the foundation to replace the main outflow pipe to the county sewer. I say that to say this, they put my flower beds back in perfect condition when they were done. Nice guys, professional and certainly willing and happy to do a job I would never touch. They deserve a metal. The only mark that was low was price, but again, plumbers are expensive and this work was on the fly.

Items 1-3 were handled promptly on 1 October 2012 at a cost of $750. Item 4 work resulted from camera exam, and cost a little over $13,900 (after a $500 credit for the earlier work that discovered the problem). Neighbor had very similar work done last year for about $8,000. This work was supposed to start on 2 October 2012, but no one showed up on that date (I assume because of rain) and there was no notification that they would not be showing up that day. All personnel were knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Initiating a same day appointment on the web was a nice feature. Cost was the only real drawback.

we had a hurricane a couple weeks ago and the primary pump was not working right so the secondary pump had to kick out all the water. we called my plumber and they sent some one out. the guy came and he checked the pump he said it was working fine. he did not check to see if it was working right before he left. after he left we called them back and he came back out. he was not happy having to come back out. when he cane back out he cleaned the suction hole on the primary pump it worked. after he cleaned out the suction hole he tested it to see if it worked right it did.

I called for a sump pump replacement. They would not quote me a price over the phone. I told them I would not hold them to any specific price, I just wanted a ballpark so if they tried to bill me $700 - $800 for a sump pump, I would save everyone time and avoid a $79.50 appointment fee. Three plumbers quoted me $300 range but did not have the pumps available. So I went ahead and scheduled My Plumber to come out to replace my sump pump. The technician quoted me $705. More than twice what I had received other quotes for. What a scam! I paid my $79.50 fee and sent the guy on the way. I basically burned $80. Also, they record your voice approving the $79.50 appointment fee so you can't argue paying it after you receive an insane price for service. WAY OVER PRICED, UNETHICAL. I will never do business with these guys!

They were great! They provided a detailed list of items to address from most important to least important. They were very thorough.

Went well. Plumbing evaluation uncovered some suggestions. Nothing needing immediate attention, but good for us to be aware of. HVAC eval found a dying part in the central AC.

It was fine. The gentleman who came was very nice.

The plumber was thoroughly professional and capable and fixed everything to my satisfaction. No quibbles there. The price, however, was in my view way out of line. They go "by the book" and to install a new garbage disposal which took less than one hour cost over $450 labor only. With the other work done and minimal cost for supplies and pipes, he was here a little over two hours and charged Nearly $1000. Ow!

I called every plumber with an "A" grade on Angie's list that services my address to get this work done. I was really trying to have it done in the next two days due to the pending arrival of some company. Unfortunately, none of them were available for about 4 days. However, while calling all these plumbers, I received a number of estimates for the work which were in the range of $275 to $350. In hopes of getting the work done before the company arrived, I decided to take a risk and call the first one on Angie's List with a "B" grade. That was "My Plumber" -- and luckily, they were available the same day. The person I spoke with on the phone would not give me any rough estimate, only the dispatch fee, but having received basically the same quote from so many others, I figured it would be nearly the same.The technician arrived during the promised window and provided an estimate for the work; I could not believe what he said! His quote for the dishwasher installation was $671.80 and to install the valve was $225.95 for a total of $897.75. I thought there must be some kind of serious mistake and that perhaps the technician did not know how to read all the prices in the book he was reviewing so I called "My Plumber" while he waited. I admit I was annoyed with what seemed like an absolutely outrageous price and I'm sure that was reflected in my voice. Nevertheless, I was not prepared for the way the person on the other end of the line spoke to me. He was argumentative and confrontational. When I told him that I had estimates from many other plumbers that gave me a good sense of a reasonable price range, he demanded to know who I had talked to and assured me they could not have been licensed or as qualified as the technicians who work at "My Plumber". He claimed no one had the same warranty. I can't even express in this description how unprofessional and confrontational he was on the phone. (The technician on site was friendly, in spite of the outrageous quote.) I'm honestly wondering if the quote I was provided was intended to avoid doing the work given that it was so much higher than anything I heard from anyone else. Is it a "My Plumber" practice when it is 8:00 p.m. to give a ridiculous price to avoid doing the job and instead claim the $79.50 dispatch fee? It feels like fraud to me. I now wish I had refused to pay even the dispatch fee.

I really appreciated the follow up call after my first review and I hired them again today to fix a leak...hopefully, all will go well.
