ARS of Virginia

I wrote a check for a down payment, which was cashed by someone from the company that financed the purchase. Therefore, I had to file a dispute with my bank in order to recovery my money.

I had two systems to replace. they sent out two crews to work them in parallel. The first thing they did was put down tarps inside the house, even on the stairway. It was a rainy day, but they did not make any mess inside the house. They left the furnace room cleaner then they found it when done. The outdoor units were leveled very nicely. They did a nice job of taking out the old units and putting in the new. They did a great job of taping everything to seal in the air flow. The work crew were all very nice, willing to answer my questions, never made me feel like I was slowing them down. They treated me like a customer that they wanted to keep happy. They have a great guarantees that show they stand behind their work. I believe the price that I got was competitive. Not the lowest,, but close, and they just made me feel more comfortable with the likely hood that they will be around another 20 years t service these systems, and they had the better warrantees and labor deals. One thing they do is to put all the units into pans and attach water sensors which will cut off the units if they overflow for some reason. Since the old units had a couple issues like that, I really liked that extra touch for even the basement one (the attic unit is required to have the pan.) They also have the nice drains which have the cutoff if the drains clog up. They were done in about 6 hours, including cleanup. And wow, are these new carrier units substantially quieter than the old TRANE ones. Since they are close to the master bedroom window, that is important. Wish I had changed them sooner. Wish I could add some pictures.

It's early yet, but happy so far.

We had cheaper alternatives. But ARS were instantly available, we had medical reasons for haste, and thus worth the extra money. Did a professional job. Very happy with their service.

We had an issue with the different floors of our house not being kept at the same temperature. We had several companies come in and give us estimates, ARS gave us several options and actually recommended that the low price option would be the best. The work was done within a couple days and the new system is working great.

Great value, fast installment of a new ac unit.

ARS communicated well with me and completed a very difficult installation. In spite of the challenges they faced, they stayed courteous and gracious. Their work was clean and all work passed the inspection of a very picky eye.

ARS offers a great product at a fair price. They quickly and efficiently installed my Lennox furnace and AC unit and a new top of the line thermostat. They gave me a demonstration on how to use and care for the new equipment. I would certainly recommend them. They also informed me about next steps like the county inspection, maintenance (new filters), and what to do in the event of any problems.
