Great Service!! Highly recommend.

Quality Services did an excellent job overall. I had solicited bids from a number of firms, and their bid came out much lower than some larger movers, and only a bit more than a couple of other small firms. I chose Quality Services in part because the representative responded candidly and carefully to my concerns and took the time to walk me through all the options. I have moved more than 25 times both domestically and internationally. When you count both ends of the moves, I have dealt with more than 50 moving companies (yes, you read that right!) and have encountered just about anything you could expect, notably lots of cases where the workers mysteriously starting slowing down toward the end of a move. That was a particular concern in this instance since I was paying $100/hour in addition to flat fees for the truck and gas. The bid was only about $70 than the final, actual cost, but that was acceptable as the move took place on a wet, snowy day with hazardous driving conditions. The movers were well spoken, polite and neat young men who were careful about protecting our furniture, and did a great job disassembling and reassembling our furniture, including a large bed. They also made sure not to track snow and dirt onto our floors and carpets, a particular concern of my spouse. This was a small, local move, but I would consider this company for a bigger move as well. It was well worth the expense.

Jose Martinez and his team were absolutely spectacular. They were professional, took great care with all our items and responsive to all of our requests. However, two particular incidents stand out for me the demonstrate how good the team is. We had asked to have our storage unit moved out in addition to our main home. I oriented Jose to the storage unit and then returned home to do a little more work. Within 15 minutes of returning home, I got a call from Jose saying that the elevator to the storage unit was not working properly. He did not want to waste more time than necessary, so he proposed that they leave for the day and return first thing the next morning when the elevator was working properly. I was so impressed with his problem solving and his desire not to waste time (and my money). The second incident occurred the next morning when they were bringing the trucks to our house. One of the trucks was getting stuck on a branch that overhung the driveway. One of the guys got out of the truck and catapulted himself on top of the truck so they could get by without damaging the limb. At the same time, an impatient driver got out of his car and was yelling at Jose for blocking the road (even though they blocked the road for less than 5 minutes and the driver could have back up and taken an alternate route). Jose handled him very calmly and did not engage with him at all. He just went back to doing his job, ignoring the man as he yelled. These may seem like small things, but I thought these were really indicative of just the level of professionalism the team embodies. They not only did the basics of the job extremely competently (I haven?t found a single thing broken or damaged), but they also handled out of the ordinary situations extremely adeptly. I?m usually very cost conscious and I make sure I get every dollar?s worth when I purchase services. The team did such a great job and made a stressful process so smooth, I was happy to pay every penny of the fees!

Quality Services came highly recommended to us. I contacted them and Mike came out and took an inventory of the furniture in the home and gave us a quote on the move out of state. He was professional and knowledgeable. We keep our furniture in storage with Quality Services till we found a house to buy. We then notified Quality Services that we were ready to have them move our furniture to us. On the 20th of December, Tyler, Gary, Ronny, and Nick arrived at our new home with the moving truck. They were professional and careful, they even put together furniture that had to be taken apart for the move. They also cleaned up after everything was moved in. I highly recommend Quality Service.

Four ladies (led by Maria) did the packing and they were outstanding. They wrapped and packed everything very carefully, and they paid special attention to the fragile items in my china cabinet. When we unpacked after the move, we only had one broken item, which is a new record for us. They worked quickly--didn't even stop for a lunch break. They were very pleasant and professional. Four men (led by Ernesto) loaded everything onto the truck, and they were also outstanding. They wrapped all our furniture in moving blankets so nothing would get scratched. They also padded our doorways and banisters and put down runners on the floors so there would be no damage to the house. They moved everything carefully and didn't ding any walls. They also worked extremely quickly and efficiently--Ernesto made sure they weren't wasting any time. They only took one quick break for lunch. They, like the ladies that did the packing, were very pleasant and professional. I will definitely request Quality Services Moving when we move back to VA. I didn't list the price because it was a military moved paid by the government.

I called and spoke with Garret who was very personable, professional and of great assistance - understanding what I needed to be done. The two gentleman were friendly, professional, and on time. They wrapped and used pads on the items to be moved and treated them with care. I had given them a drawing of the room and they placed the items exactly where they were to go - quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased. This was not a large move and they were very accommodating.

A horrible experience mitigated just a little by a call from the owner after six months of lost possessions, rudeness and delays by company staff. Original move coordinator left town without scheduling my move or giving me a quote. I had to reschedule for the company's convenience. Movers did not log and tag all materials moved into storage, so some were lost. I repeated to four different people that I would need some things back from storage to finalize packing when the condo sold, yet the company was unable to find and return my items when I asked for them multiple times. Emails from the move coordinator and move manager were terse and rude, letting me know that my problems were not their problem. The move manager finally brought me some of the company's materials which were not the size or quality of what was lost. When my items were delivered to my new location, again their was a scheduling snafu. First I was told that a crew was not available on my move date to come get the rest of my possessions and deliver everything to my new home. So I hired another mover to take things from my old house to the new one, and scheduled delivery of the things in storage for the next day. Then the day of my move, I got a call asking if the company could deliver the things from storage to my new home while the second move crew was at my old home. I scheduled a time when the storage delivery crew would show up at my new home, but this time the delivery truck was early and had to wait for the first moving crew to finish. Then the delivery crew leader put his forms on top of my floor plans, demanded payment in advance and finally unloaded his truck. As they took things off the truck it became clear that several pieces of furniture and boxes had been sitting in water and mold was growing on them. The leader of the moving crew said "we just deliver them, call the office if you have a complaint." Some things were so moldy I would not let them in my house due to mold allergies. I contacted the moving supervisor and the claims manager sent a form with room to list four or five damaged items. The form said I had to keep the damaged materials available for their inspection, and provide receipts proving how much each item cost originally. Some were gifts, some were family heirlooms decades old, and I had lots of vintage clothing and books that cost more than the original price, so obviously I had no receipts. I had to keep moldy clothing in my house for months. Moldy furniture I could not let in the house. I created a spreadsheet of my own and listed dozens of damaged items, searching the Internet for 3 weeks to find comparable costs and list the URLs on the spreadsheet to prove replacement value, since I had purchased the company's insurance for replacement cost coverage. My total in damages was between $4,500 and $5,000. Several MONTHS after I submitted the form, I was contacted by the claims manager who said someone would come pick up damaged clothing and take it to be professionally cleaned. The young man who showed up took photos of the clothing with a cracked cell phone, even though I had provided photos with my original claim. The cleaned clothes were returned several weeks later. Then it was another month or so before I received a letter from the company with a "final check" of less than $700, which I consider to be totally inadequate. The letter contained URLs for items they considered to be replacements for things on my list, which are clearly not of the same quality as what I lost. About the time I received the letter with the check, I also was sent an email by a "new customer service manager" asking about my satisfaction with the storage and my use of an Angie's List coupon to reduce the storage cost. I replied to the customer service manager with this story. About a month later, I received a call from the president of the company to apologize for the poor service I had received. I told him this story. He sent me a gift certificate for a meal at a nice restaurant as an apology. He was very professional, but unfortunately the staff members with whom I was in contact throughout this process were not. I would never use this company again, despite the apology from the owner. I would not recommend it to my friends. On the other hand, a friend who moved around the same time had a great experience with the same company. Her possessions did NOT go into storage however, just went from her old home to her new one.

They were friendly. The level of professionalism was a little low because they were very young boys, maybe around 19. One of them seemed to know what they were doing, however the other one didn't. I would not have wanted them to move any valuable furniture. However, they did do everything I asked and were able to find a time to move me with only 3 days notice.

They did an excellent job and the estimator was excellent as well. I did have a small billing issues but they corrected it promptly.

They did OK on the moving part but the shipping part never happened. Their staff took the furniture and it cannot be located, they claim it has been lost. They are currently making a settlement payment of $300 for a table that was in my family for approximately 50 years. I have made calls to discuss but they don’t return my calls. Initially, they indicated delivery dates and assured me that is was shipped. When it wasn’t delivered by the date promised I called and only after a few days was told that it was lost. Sorry, no phone call just a settlement letter and check for $300. Now I have subsequently called four times to discuss how this amount was determined but again no return phone call.

The team showed up on time and moved us quickly and professionally. Items were wrapped and handled well, and the team stayed late until the job was finished. Would definitely use them again!

They are excellent and I would recommend them to anybody. They are very punctual and work until the job is done. Their pricing is competitive if not more reasonable than most. In both moves nothing was ever broken or damaged.

They were great, they did a nice job with the move. They showed up on time and did what they were supposed to do. They broke off a couple pieces of molding on an antique cabinet. They had the pieces, going through them to fix it would have been difficult so I fixed it myself. Overall, they met my expectations.

Scheduling was great, they came to do a survey of the items and to find out where the different items needed to be shipped to. The pricing was based off weight and shipping location. A week later they came and shipped the different items. They did a great job and we had no issues with them. There was one damaged item which they took care of.

They did a good job. Scheduling was good, I had a date that I needed it done by and they met that. Three people did the work and they finished in an hour.

It was a great experience, there were no hitches in the process. The people picking up the furniture and dropping it off were courteous, professional and friendly. The crew arrived right on time, they were persistent with their work and were able to do everything we needed. The woman in the office was also courteous, responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend their services.

Responsive, professional and flexible (we added a few more things at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us on the spot, even though it meant sending out an employee to deliver extra moving blankets). We are planning to use Quality again and also for long-term storage.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went very well. The company worked with my timeframe to deliver the supplies. There was one item they ran out of, but they delivered the remainder very promptly, and exactly when they said they would. When I am ready to complete my local move, I will definitely talk to this company.

The 2 men who came to remove the boxes and furniture were very friendly and very professional. They were very careful with furniture items and also careful with walls and corners. Was very pleased with the results.

The were late and did not bring all the items

Awesome experience. Was moving out of the state when this deal came up and was worth every penny. I had to use another provider to physically move stuff through my employer, and their prices for packaging materials were outrageous and they had really crappy customer service, so I when I saw this deal to get materials through someone else, I jumped on it. Service was excellent - showed up when they said they would, and still treated us with top-notch respect even though we weren't using them to move their stuff (I think this deal is a loss-leader or at minimum lead generator as they offer free quote). Threw in some extra paper and an extra wardrobe box. All materials of super high quality and would not hesitate to buy again or use these guys to move. A+ in my book.

It was fine. We had some trouble getting in contact with them. I would use them in the future.

The man who came out from Services Moving was really nice. He was great. He came, delivered them to the house. He was very nice and friendly. He was quite happy to put the boxes wherever I wanted them in the house.

Initially, they were slow to respond and return my phone calls. Then there was a bit of unwanted pressure to purchase additional services. For the price of the packing materials, I would give them a B. It was reasonable. However, the quote to pack and move everything was very high.

They did an excellent job. They were very professional and the gentlemen that were there were very did everything in a timely manner. We could not have been happier. The last day we had a rainstorm and they kept packiny everything up.
