Description of Work: The serviceman replaced my outside faucet. He explained that the inside shutoff was old and probably should be replaced because it was difficult to turn off but did not pressure me into this or any other service. He indicated that I could use a pressure reducer valve. He gave me an estimate for these two additional tasks but did not pressure me. I elected to have this done next spring. I would use them again. He was only 15 minutes late which was no big thing. He wore plastic boots in the house to keep from getting my carpet dirty.

Description of Work: Replaced 2 outside faucets. Took the guy about 2 hours, if I had not already spent some of the cost on Angies deal I would have said no, that was way too much money for the job they did. I missed a deal earlier this summer for a 99.00 dollar faucet replacement.

Description of Work: Performed multiple faucet repairs in the same visit; 2 employees came & 1 spent most of the time in the van. Did not follow instructions: requested they NOT repair the kitchen faucet & attempted to anyway; did not shut-off water beforehand, consequently water sprayed all over the sink area, which they did clean. Left bathroom in complete disarray. Might give them one more chance, as their price was cheaper--albeit still outrageous--than the previous plumber.

Description of Work: Instead of replacing just the flapper valve, the tech. (?) removed the CUSTOM attachment from the CUSTOM handle to chain of flapper. I had to reset flapper chain length. Now we lift the cover of the tank and reset the cheap a** hook that gets hung up about every 4th flush. Can't find this flush lever to chain S style hook that rocks back and forth. So now I'll have to replace the toilet. Aggravating.

Description of Work: singed up for $99 outdoor faucet replacement. Was told by vendor that it needed to replace interior water shut-off valve for some reason. Work was professionally done, but total cost ballooned to approximately $400. By way of comparison, I had the main interior shut-off valve replaced a couple of years ago at about $200. Approximately $350 to replace an interior shut-off valve seems too high.
