Big Steve's Tree Care

I could not recommend them more highly. The response was fast, the estimate was reasonable, and the can-do crew arrived as promised and did the work quickly and professionally. The crew also had the equipment (truck with cherry picker) to do a much bigger job if needed.

Everything was done as promised - less than half the cost of other estimate.

It went well. The estimate was much lower than competitors and service was performed promptly.

He did very well. The only thing is, they didn't clean up as well as I'd like. They came on time. They should tell people to get their car far away from their chipper. I had to get my car washed afterwards from the debris. I plan to use them again.

It as great, Steve came and gave me the estimate on the same day. I called and scheduled the next day and they were able to come out within the week to meet my schedule. I have used Big Steve's before and I will continue to use them in the future.

They were excellent workers and did a great job cleaning up. If they had a question about something they would ask me to clarify. The office was very prompt in returning my phone calls. The workers were here when they said they would be. Everyone that i dealt with was very courteous. I felt Steve's prices were very good and I highly recommend this company.

Very prompt, professional, did a great job. On a recommendation from a neighbor, I contacted Big Steve's to give an estimate and they were able to come out the next day, knew exactly what we needed to do and how to improve the health of the trees where the seller had cut them incorrectly in their attempt to trim them back. We got a couple of quotes and the one Steve gave us was a fair price and was a nice guy so we made an appointment to take care of it. The appointment was only a few days later and he came out and did the work and it looks great. They cleaned up everything afterward and even trimmed a branch on a third tree that he mentioned needed it during the estimate, without any additional charge on the invoice!

Great job overall. Work was done professional and area cleaned up after the limb was removed. Also, so of the smaller limbs beneath the break were trimmed to bring balance back to the tree.

Big Steve's 4-person crew showed up promptly on the scheduled day. Working what seemed like non-stop the entire day they had the tree down and the wood moved out of the backyard by the end of the day. We had also asked Big Steve to trim and remove dead wood from a similar sized oak tree in the backyard. The crew returned promptly on the second day and completed all the work requested. All the work done by the Big Steve crew was completed in a very efficient and professional manner. The crew members were pleasant and worked well together as a team. I would recommend Big Steve for any tree service work, but especially for any difficult tree work.

They gave a reasonable estimate. They do military discounts. The guy who came out was very helpful and explained the estimate.

The workers were several hours early. Glad we were home. They were very efficient and polished. No mess left behind.

Workers were on time and got the job done quickly. After having used several tree clearing businesses over the past 10 years these guys were the best I've seen. I'm not a professional but in my opinion the use of safety lines and a larger crew showed this team of workers to be more knowledgeable and safe than the other businesses.

Steve's sent two teams. The first cut the trees down to a low trunk line on the first day. I was a little surprised when they went away without removing the trunks, but when I called Big Steve's the receptionist assured me that a second team would remove the trunks. The following day, when I was away, the second team came, removed and ground the trunks, leaving the ground-up wood for mulch.

I had a very large oak that hadn't been deadwooded in 15+ years. Steve's estimate was the lowest, after receiving about 10. The office manager was very nice when scheduling and was able to fit me in a week later. The crew called when they were on their way and arrived a bit earlier than expected. The whole team was very professional and went out of their way to do a good job. My yard was cleaner than before they started and there were no incidents with the trimming, even though some branches were very large. Would hire again.

Julio inspected the tree (from the ground) and recommended NOT performing any service. He then took the time to identify a couple trees for me and pointed out some blight I had not noticed. I called them back because I was so happy with the first service.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I don't know what more you can ask of a company in any line of work. We've had Big Steve's do 3 projects for us. Each time, including the work just done, they have been the lowest cost and have delivered superior service. Steve does the estimating, and is friendly, generous with his time, and knowledgeable. I got another estimate for this project from a highly-rated tree service. They were more expensive, and when I asked about lead time, was told, "if it hasn't been done in 3 weeks, call." Big Steve's took 6 days from contract signing to work completed. The lead man and crew showed up on time, were friendly, cooperative and quick. One of the trees was close to and overhung our house. They were careful and competent and obviously knew what they were doing. They neatly stacked the wood we were keeping and cleaned up thoroughly. It is literally a pleasure doing business with Big Steve's!

Big Steve's did a great job at a reasonable price. I am very happy with them and would use them again. The estimator arrived on schedule, was very pleasant to deal with and provided an estimate. After I authorized the work 4 workers came to the house and cut down the tree and ran the wood though a chipper. They cleaned up the yard well and hauled off all debris. They were very pleasant to deal with, worked quickly despite the hot weather and finished up in what I thought was a very short time. Two work days latter one workman came with a stump chipper and removed the stump. The cost of tree removal was $500 less 10% Angie's List coupon and the cost of stump removal was $125 less 10%.

Big Steve's was very responsive and had user-friendly website, making it easy to have estimate scheduled while at work. They came out the day they said they would and left a fair estimate. I ended up going with another provider that was slightly cheaper, but will definitely seek them out again for future work needed.

They were a competitive price, showed up on time, got the work down and cleaned up after themselves. Did such a great job, I hired them to do some tree trimming at my parents house.

The crew arrived on time. Finished early. Extremely skilled team, cordial and professional. They are also cleaned very well before leaving. Could not tell they came by. Also to attest to Steve's professionalism, I ordered firewood from him, but could not use the wood due to my daughter's respiratory condition, refunded all money no questions asked. Would recommend to anyone who wants fast and reliable service.
