They worked with a company to come out and install it over our fireplace for us. We had a great experience with them. It was the only place in town we could go where they actually knew about the TV's. They were very informative.

Overall my experience with the Big Screen Store was good with the price that I got and the quality of the products they sell.  I purchased a new entertainment center and a television to go along with it. The salesman worked with  me to get these items within my budget. There tv's prices are pretty good for the local shopper although you might be able to find better deals online. But that seems to be the case everywhere. My only issue was that I had a custom order which took a little longer than normal to come in. I didn't feel that I was getting adequate responses on the delay and at times felt ignored. But in the end they delivered and the install team did a good job....

To complement the facts summarized above, my interaction with the staff of the Big Screen Store was very disappointing. The Salesman (Mickey) talked a good talk but was short on delivery. My assessment is that he would promise more than his manager's policy permitted. The Store Manger (Jason) was direct (almost curt) when I complained about the late and incomplete delivery and the speaker problem. He told me that it could be a problem with the cable company's signal or widows adjacent to the TV but it was likely not his TV (which in fact, was the problem!). He told me that he'd be happy to take it back if I wasn't happy (which to me seemed silly since we both has a lot invested in this and it was probably repairable. He agreed to send a technician out at his expense to assess and correct the speaker problem. I specifically asked him how he was going to address the fact that I had given them full price on time and they had not yet given me full value. Instead of offering some effort to compensate or address the shortfalls, he just asked me what I expected/wanted him to do. I ended the conversation. This man has zero customer relations skills and is obviously insensitive to the basic principle that the customer is always right - especially when the vendor has fouled up the situation as badly as they had fouled it up. The salesman followed up with me a couple weeks after the repair and promised to visit again to make some fine adjustments on the sound because I was experiencing a problem with volume level control between cable TV shows and Blue Ray DVDs. For some reason the DVD player volume has to be very much higher than TV volume to "hear" the presentation at the same level. As of this writing, now almost another month later, he has not visited or called to explain why. Another indication of the Big Screen Stores' sense of customer service.
