I called that day and they sent someone that evening to take a look at it. He showed up at 7pm and it took the technician less than 10 minutes to determine that the cupling had gone bad. Within another 10 minutes, he had the replacement part installed and the machine was working again.

Overall, there were no negatives, it was a totally positive experience.

Sonny charged $49 to assess the problem with my dishwasher, but then applied it to the total repair cost. He replaced the motor on my dishwasher in about 40 minutes for about $350 total. His response to my email request for assistance was near-instantaneous, and he made himself rapidly available to do the repairs. Nice guy too.

The service was EXCELLENT. The technician called before arriving and when he entered the house, he removed his shoes. He immediately diagnosed the problem (I had told them over the phone what I thought the problem was based on my own research) and had the part on hand to install. He also diagnosed a second problem, but did not have the part on his truck for install. He indicated he would order the part and return to replace. He stated the cost of repairs up front and honored my Angie's List coupon. He was in my home for approximately 1 hour. The same technician returned to my house the following week to replace the second issue identified. The cost for the flapper and install was rather expensive since the part probably didn't cost over $10.00. I was charged $50. Nevertheless, I didn't mind paying. He offered advice and was very knowledgeable about appliances. I would definitely use this company again. Great Service.

I called Expert Appliance Services at 10 am on Saturday morning after the dryer ceased to heat. I was told a repair technician could come to my home that afternoon between 2 and 4. The repair technician called at noon and said he could come by in half an hour - which worked out perfectly for me. He arrived, diagnosed the problem - the heating element - and performed the repair in 15 minutes. The price was lower than I expected and the technician was a very nice fellow. This was a very pleasant experience - before calling Expert Appliance I assumed I'd be without the dryer for at least a few days or a week. In fact, the store I bought the dryer from asked that I wait 11 days. I have Expert Appliance's magnet on my refrigerator and wouldn't hesitate to call them for any appliance repair.

I tried for two weeks to get my washing machine repaired. The company it was warranted under only had one repair service in my area and it would be at least two weeks before I could have it serviced. They finally approved another repair service but they were not able to come for two more weeks. I got on Angie's list and chose Expert Appliance Services because of their rating and reviews. The owner answered the phone and offered to send out a technician the next day, Wednesday. Since I was not available that day, we made it for Thursday. Sunny came on time and worked quickly to diagnose the problem, a broken pump which disabled the spin cycle. He made the repair in a very short time, with a friendly attitude and professional manner. Overall, I was delighted with the service and the attitude of everyone I talked to. I even got a nice discount because of Angie's list. I would use them again.

We would recommend Expert Appliance Services to our friends and neighbors. The owner answered the phone and was able to schedule me in for the same day that I called. He prompted called 30 minutes prior to let me know that he was on his way and was prompt for the appointment. We found his price to be reasonable and he took the time to explain what he was doing and tips on making our refrigerator perform longer. Hope it works! Our refrigerator has been performing accordingly now for almost two weeks.

After calling most of the A rated companies on Angie's list, I found this company to be reasonable in price and to be able to get the parts needed much faster. I knew the problem was the plastic cracked drip pan on the bottom of the refrigerator (only 2 yrs old) needs to be replaced. All the companies could quote me the repair costs over the phone. They were not too far off from each other except one who wanted $450! for the 30 min. job. The guy from Expert App. called me back right away and kept me informed on the estimated delivery of the parts. As soon as the part came in on Tuesday, he called and asked me if he could come in 30 min. It was perfect. He came right away without delay. He was professional and quick. He even took off his shoes at the door. He said this job was more complicated than he expected. But he repaired it in no time. Call this company before you call others.

I really don't have much to add: I called, got an appointment for the very next day, Sunny came, diagnosed the problem and repaired the oven and it works fine. Another company could have said I needed to replace the main board, but Sunny was honest and fortunately I saved some money.

He had to work in a small space. He did a great job and was quite professional. He wore booties to not track dirt throughout the house. I would highly recommend him. He gave me a $30 Angie's List discount.

It was 6pm when I realized the refrigerator had not started cooling after the blown circuit restart earlier in the afternoon, and was not expecting to get in touch with someone at that hour, much less get it serviced. I was relieved to have my call answered and pleasantly surprised that a technician could come out the very same night, within about an hour. He explained what might be the issue with the compressor and overload and that if the relay kit didn't start it up there wouldn't be a charge for it. He answered all my questions and performed the work quickly, very careful not to scratch the floors when moving the refrigerator and not to track in mud. The kit worked and issue was resolved in about 15 minutes total, for $189. I will recommend Expert Appliance Services to all my friends. Hopefully I don't need to use them again soon, but if I do I'll know who to call.

Our experience was great. The technician was prompt, courteous, professional and very efficient. Both units were fixed quickly and have continued to work well since. The costs were fair and reasonable...both units were repaired for just under $280 (including $150 for a new icemaker) and including the service call. These two repairs saved us a fortune in replacement costs! We were very happy with this service provider!

Found through Angie's List. My first call went directly to the owner who also did the work. I reached him fiirst try and had a visit the same day, exactly on schedule with a call ahead to make sure I knew he was on his way. Totally professional, candid, honest in his assessment, and clear in his plan of action. He had to order a part which came in quickly and he promptly returned to finish the job. Very fair pricing. Would not take payment until job complete. Honest, competent, and personable service.

They were very accommodating, scheduled an appointment quickly and were able to change it at the last minute when I needed them to. The technician found the issue quickly, and was honest and up front on how much the repair would cost vs. how much the appliance was worth. We decided to replace the washer instead of repair. The only minor issue we had with Expert Appliance was an error in billing, the charge to come out and give an estimate was applied twice. They were very polite about the error and fixed it, but I had to call them twice to get that taken care of.

Called at around 8 for an appointment. Arranged a 2 hour window for 2-4 p.m. and he called at 12 to offer to come early. He arrived and went to work. Said that this was a common problem and that nothing that we did contributed to our Maytag refrigerator going down. He changed the parts and left with a personal check.

I found Expert Appliances through Angie's List and recommended this company to my son to repair the washing machine in his townhouse. My son reported the following experience: I called Expert Appliances on Saturday around noon and Mr. Pant immediately answered. I made an appointment for him to visit my townhouse Sunday morning. He arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem with my appliance. Mr. Pant told me that the transmission needed to be replaced and that this repair would cost more than buying a new washing machine. He gave me recommendations for washing machine brands and the best places to buy them. Mr. Pant also recommended that I replace my drainage tubes when having the new washing machine installed. Overall, Expert Appliances gave me excellent service and expert advice at a very good price. Mr. Pant was very honest in recommending a replacement machine rather than trying to convince me to make an expensive repair. He only charged me $39 to do the diagnosis. I was also very happy that he was available on such short notice and willing to come out on a Sunday morning.

Appt scheduled for next morning and arrived within the two hour window. Problem diagnozed and repair completed within 20 minutes. Very professional, pleasant, and clean gentleman who took his shoes off when entering the house. Definitely will use again. All service calls should be so effortless and smooth.

I called Expert Appliance Services on a Sunday, after my washer stopped working. I expected to be called back on Monday, but they actually returned my call right away and set up a Monday appointment. They came on time Monday and discovered it to be a simple electrical issue. They fixed it quickly and charged me a very reasonable fee for coming out. I will definitely call them again.

PJ arrived in the morning of 8/22 to diagnose the problem He checked the fuses and made sure all the electricity was going. When that checked out he checked the motor, which it turns out was bad. A new motor was ordered, and PJ said that he would stop by later in the afternoon to install it. PJ gave me an estimate for the repair work before he left. PJ came back with the part in the afternoon and installed the motor. He accidentally shorted the timer and one of the fuses when he turned on the dryer. He had to order these parts for the dryer and come back later to install these. Two days later the timer & fuse came in. PJ came back and installed these, at no additional cost. I understand when mistakes happen, and it's unfortunate. PJ never made any excuses, and stood by his original estimate for the job, and did the right thing. Was pleasantly impressed, as I've had other people in the past try to charge me for their mistakes. The dryer is up and running. PJ did a good job keeping me informed when he would be arriving, and laid out what needed to be done.

Expert Appliances team member came by within the allotted 2 hour window and took a look at the disposal. He removed the base and found a part of a screw within it, which he removed. He cleaned the motor and put the unit back together. After testing, he confirmed everything was now fixed. He also reassured us that the disposal itself was still in very good shape.

They arrived on time, diagnosed the problem (broken belt), replaced it in just a very short time. It was great. All this was done on a Sunday afternoon. No one else I saw had these hours or this kind of service. The gentleman was very pleasant and you could tell he knew what he was doing. He took my dryer apart in no time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. Very professional, knowledgeable and fair (price wise).

Our KitchenAid refrigerator starting breaking down this past week, unbeknownst to us. So on Saturday morning when we woke up to a freezer full of melted ice/ice cream we were wondering what happened. After google'ing for the problem we found that it's either a compressor or compressor relay problem. We looked up a few companies but EAS were the only ones opened on the weekend. So we called Sunday morning at 9:30 and they were able to get a guy out to us between noon and 2. They said on the phone that there is a $50 weekend fee, which I guess isn't too bad so we made the appointment. The guy promptly showed up at noon, deduced that it was a relay problem and put in a new part for us. The only reason I gave a B on the price was we didn't look into any other companies to see what their price was cause it was the weekend and no one else was opened. But for $179 to come fix a fridge on a Sunday....probably not a bad price.

It went well. I don't remember everything exactly as it happened but I do know I would use them again.

I called Expert on Saturday morning. He said they could have someone at our house between 4 pm and 6 pm. The technician called a few minutes before 4 pm to say he was 15 minutes away. P.J/ arrived right on time. He had covers for his shoes. He looked at the dishwasher and quickly diagnosed the problem as a valve. He had one on his truck. He gave me an estimate of $179.00. I agreed to the work. It took him about an hour or so to fix. He honored his Angies' list coupon and gave us $30.00 off the bill. P.J. was extremely courteous, did his work, cleaned up after himself, and was out the door. I was very pleased with the work and PJ. I would hire them again and recommend anyone to consider using his firm.

I called late in the afternoon to request a service call for my oven. The stove was working, but not the actual oven. We thought it would be a simple matter of replacing the element. My stove/oven is very a very simple gas appliance, nothing fancy, not digital or anything, so we thought it would be a quick fix. I was able to get an appointment that same evening between 7 and 8, since I could not be there any earlier than that from work, picking up the kids etc. This worked perfectly with my schedule. EXCELLENT! Sunny called when he was 15 minutes away. He arrived on time. He put covers over his shoes to make sure he didn't track dirt into the house. That is the first time a repair person has been thoughtful enough to do that. He took a look at the stove, and diagnosed that it was the element in the oven that needed replacing, however, after replacing it, the oven still would not ignite. It turns out it was another completely different mechanism that needed replacing, and that part was going to cost more than my stove was probably worth. It's an old stove. He did not charge me for diagnostic services or replacement of the element. He said that his repair did not work, so he would not charge me. Sunny suggested I replace the stove, however, he would call me to give me a price on the part and I could choose to replace or repair. We had planned on replacing the stove anyway, but now have to do it sooner rather than later.
