They were very responsive. They came out the same day I called and performed the job very efficiently. A few weeks later I called them because I thought something was wrong with it. It turned out there was something stuck in the disposal. They removed it and didn't even charge us for the service call! They were great!

Showed the tech the problem appliances. Since the washer operates efficiently except for a demand of overseeing the fill cycles and the cost for the new circuit board being $300+, I decided to pass on that repair. The tech showed me where the problem was with the fridge, defrosted the clogged hole, and showed me how to handle the problem should it recur. Tech was polite, showed up on time, and was helpful. Money well spent.

A very good experience. I had a unique set up with a water filter connected to the water line. Another company had come out to fix the leak prior to me calling Expert Appliance, but that company didn't know how to fix the problem. However, PJ knew exactly what to do.

I telephone provider around noon and received an estimate and an ETA between 2-4 pm the same day. The provider telephone 30 minutes in advance as promised and arrived around 2:30 pm. He was friendly efficient and smart. He checked to verify the problem and replaced the heating element. When this was done he checked again and discovered that the trouble with the heating element had damaged part of the electrical system. He repaired that, too. He was done in 1 hour. He explained what he was doing at every step. The bill was in accordance with the estimate. Overall, it was a flawless performance and he was a nice guy, too.

Fabulous! Expert was called and came to diagnose a stove I bought off Craigslist. The bottom over burner would not stay lit. Was told the cost and problem. The lower ignition module was not heating properly and needed to be replaced. 15 minutes later I was in bidnez. Stove was working fine. I count on Expert to handle all of my residential appliance needs. I highly recommend them.

My washing machine got broken and flooded my first floor after years of service. If you have experienced any type of flooding before, you know the pain and agony. I made a phone call to this provider around 2pm and they provided a same day service. Sunny showed up in time around 4pm and provided very easy-to-understand explanation and fixed it for me. He even demonstrated how to perform self maintenance to prevent such an accident from happening next time. I understand that there are a lot of service providers that would charge minimum $100 before fixing anything and considering the price that I paid and excellent service that I received, I would highly recommend this company.

My freezer stopped working and I had another company come out to look at it. I was not happy with the first company's tech. He did not seem to know what he was doing and his logic on why it was failing to cool was unclear. So, I called Expert Appliance Services and they had someone come out for a second opinion. Immediately, the tech knew exactly what was going on. He pointed out where the issue was taking place and it was explained to me in a clear fashion. He also encouraged me to fight Sears on paying to have it fixed since he felt they were responsible. And, instead of trying to convince me to use his company to fix it, he said, I would be wasting my money and I should just get a new fridge. So, I felt he was really looking out of me instead of just making a profit. I have used a lot of repair companies over the past few years of living in this area, and I will only be calling this company from now on. I was impressed with how honest he was, which is hard to find these days.

Sunny courteously called to say he would be 30 minutes late from original appt time. He arrived as stated, he's professional, pleasant and informative as he explains the issue. He checked the fridge, he checked the main water line in the basement and quickly was able to diagnose the problem with the refrigerator ice maker. He had the part on the truck so he was able to easily replace the part! He checked two other appliances for me and candidly recommended as both appliances still properly functioned, it would be a waste of money to make the repairs to the glass top and replacement part for dishwasher. He directed me to online sites for the parts and we jointly decided it was wiser to use the appliances as IS until they show MAJOR wear and tear! (So he saved us money today :>) Within hours the ice maker was back in operation and the bin was again full! Would recommend him to anyone who wants an HONEST assessment of their appliances and would call him again for any future appliance needs.

Expert was called at about 5pm Friday before and answered the phone. We made an appointment for Monday between 9 and 10am. At about 9:10am he called and we met at the home. He arrived on time and was friendly and professional. The tech put on foot covers as the dryer was in the upstairs laundry room. After taking off the front panel a loose wire was discovered. A minimum charge of 45 dollars was the only charge. I am a real estate agent that manages property. This was in Centreville.

I found them on Angie's list. They replaced my garbage disposal, checked my refrigerator, and repaired a leak in my dryer hose. They are out of this world.

Warranty office said that it needed a supply line replaced which was not covered under warranty so I would have to arrange my own repair. This business came out the same day I called and let me know that what was wrong with it it still covered under my existing warranty (an approx $400-700 fix) and that I need to call them back. He even wrote what was wrong with it on the receipt and said they could call him if they had any questions. I will use them for my other appliances that are not covered under any warranty because they were very honest.

Overall this is the best appliance repair company I have ever done business with. This is the second time I've called this company for appliance repair. Once for my built in microwave and today for my refrigerator. Both times I have been delighted with the quick response time -- both being within 24 hours of my call. The repairman has been punctual each time and has called ahead when he was 30 minutes out. I completely trust the repairman as he takes the time to explain what is wrong with my machines and what it will take to fix them properly. With my microwave, he tried a part the manufacturer claimed would work but the part didn't work once he plugged it in. The repairman came back the next day with the OEM part (the magnetron) and switched it out in 5 minutes. He only charged me for the part he originally quoted even though the OEM magnetron turned out to be more expensive. You can't ask for a more honest and fair guy than that. I sincerely recommend Expert Appliance Services to everyone. The work ethic of this company is a rare quality in today's times. I know these are two separate service calls but I wasn't a member of Angie's List when Expert Appliance Services repaired my built in microwave.

After another service provider cancelled an appointment the night before, I called Expert Appliance at 8:00am on 12/29. They were here by 10:00am and quickly diagnosed the problem. He determined that he had to get a part and told me when he would be back. He came back exactly when he said he would with the part and finished the repair. All in the same day that I called. I couldn't have asked for better service. He was couteous and friendly. He also answered all of my questions and provided some advice for my future large appliance purchases (washer/dryer and refrigerator) based on his experiences with certain brands.

Because this service provider was rated #1 on Angie's list for 2011, I recommended the firm to my daughter. She and her husband were very happy with the results! My son-in-law said PJ called with 30 minutes advance notice and arrived 20 minutes early for his 10am - 12pm window. He quickly found that the issue was a common problem with the GE refrigerators and replaced the heating element. He found that there was a piece of food in a tiny hole on the stove and cleaned that out for free. He was all done by 9:59am!

The guy did a good job. Everything was great. He was very good about finding out what I needed in getting the parts. Then the parts came and he gave me a call. He just came, installed it in a few minutes, and he was done.

He did an excellent job and I would use him again in the future.

I called first thing in the morning and they were there within two hours. He had a comparable unit on his truck and installed it in 20 minutes. Very reasonable price.

Expert Appliance was very professional and even took off his shoes when entering our house. They were very patient and explained in detail what the problem was. Very professional, prompt and courteous.

I give them top grades in everything. I will use their services again in the future.

They were pretty good, quick and reliable. They cleaned the area after they finished their work.

I called Expert Appliance in the afternoon and received a callback within 30 minutes. The technician asked me for the make and model information and promptly called back with the estimate for the repair. He arrived to fix the dishwasher at 6pm that evening. You couldn't ask for more prompt and professional service. I am very satisfied with this company and would use again.

I called Sonny in a panic on a Sunday morning because my 3-year old refrigerator had completely stopped (no power to either the refrigerator or freezer). He had me make sure the problem was with with the refrigerator rather than the outlet, then came out within an hour of my call. He quickly diagnosed exactly what the problem was, implemented a work around to get my refrigerator running, and then ordered the needed new part spare part. He said he would be back in two days with the new part and he was. The price was exactly what he estimated it would be, he was responsive (on Sunday), and arrived when he said he would (2 days later). I have complete faith in his services and Expert Appliance Service is where I will go from now on when I need repairs to major appliances.

Despite having had my fridge fixed by these folks recently, it started building up ice and water in the fridge compartment again. I called, and he came out at my next convenient time. He came out, quickly realized what was wrong with the fridge (it's older, and the styrofoam is starting to break apart, and some had fallen into the drain, which clogged it), fixed it, and was gone in under 15 minutes. He also refused payment for the service, which I did not at all expect, since I didn't think this was a warranty issue or anything like that. My only complaint was a few bits of styrofoam that fell into the fridge compartment, and that later I realized some hamburger that had been removed from the freezer so he could work was left on top of the appliance. I am too short to see such things, and it was only spotted after it had thawed. (On the previous visit, some tools were left on top of the fridge, so perhaps he just needs to be more aware of the problem and check before he leaves?)Overall, he showed up on time, got the job done quickly, and I certainly won't complain about the price!

I called this morning because my oven stopped working last night. They said they would be able to send someone tonight between 5 and 7 since I wouldn't be home until 5. Just as promised, the technician called 30 minutes before he arrived at around 6:30 PM. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem (the oven needed a new igniter). Great service, prompt, convenient. I highly recommend them.

Sunny was very polite, cheery, and professional. He looked at my washing machine. Of course it was working properly. He watched the machine the cycles run for quite some time. He told me he really could not fix the problem w/o a code display. I appreciated his honesty. He stayed a little longer. He DID NOT CHARGE ME! He simply said call me with the error code and I will fix it, fast. I will call him next time for any appliance repari. Will I use him again? Yes! I will recommend him to everyone I know.
