Mr. Pant correctly determined what was wrong with our refrigerator, ordered the necessary parts, and completed the repairs according to the timeline given. His pricing matched the prices that I had found when doing my research; labor charge was good and worth every penny!

I called on Saturday afternoon to try to schedule an appointment, and they were able to come to my house on Saturday evening. PJ came by, spent about a minute looking at the washer, and then, ten minutes later, he had replaced the broken part & I was back in business. Based on the information that I provided to them over the phone, PJ was prepared with the part that he expected to need to replace. The service was fast, friendly, and effective. I'll definitely be calling Expert Appliance Service for any other appliance issues I have in the future.

Our refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser was trickling out water and not making ice cubes to it's capacity. When it first started happening we called GE, and they said they were going to charge us $100 to come out and look at it, but that the freezer door was probably going to need to be replaced, which was going to run us over $700. We lived with the water/ice issue for over a year, and finally got sick of it. We found EAS on Angie's List and are so happy we called! We called on a Thursday, he came on a Saturday right on time, and fixed the problem right then and there. It was something with the filter that was causing the issue. He had the part in his truck, fixed the problem in 20 minutes, and it only cost us $169.00. Most importantly, we now have water and ice!!!!

I had a family emergency and my dryer broke down. He really made an effort to squeeze me in on a busy day, the same day that I called. I have used him several times for appliance repair, and he has been able to repair our appliances quickly every time. He is very honest, and I was so impressed with him the first time, that I have never wanted to use anyone else. He gets an A+ in price too, he is always so reasonable.

My dishwasher door coil popped off and needed replacement. Expert Appliance Services arrived the next day and replaced it for the exact price quoted to me online. Professional and reliable. Highly recommend this company.

My oven stopped working late last week. I went to google and checked a couple websites on how to diagnose the problem - it looked like the ignitor had gone bad - then went to youtube to see how to fix it and determined it's beyond my competence level. Next step was Angies List to find someone to do the repair. I found Expert Appliance Services and was impressed with the huge number of "A" ratings in my area, so emailed them Sunday evening directly from Angies List with the symptoms I was seeing and contact info. I received an email early the next morning (that I didn't see until later) and a phone call at work around 10 am. They needed the model number of the stove in order to come out and do the repair and told me where to look to find it. I emailed that information Monday evening. I called this morning in case they missed my email, and now two hours later they have been here, repaired the oven (it was the ignitor) and are gone. Very impressed. It was raining out so the gentleman removed his shoes when he came in. put a cover cloth down around the stove and was done in short order. As a side note, we were discussing appliances and I told him about having to buy a new washer after my old one died. He asked about the brand and type, and advised me about the most common failure and how to avoid any related problem. The advice is very much appreciated. Well worth the money for the friendly, almost immediate service. I would use these folks again in a heartbeat.

EAS came and diagnosed our washing machine as having a faulty door latch and ordered replacement parts. After waiting a day for the parts to arrive EAS returned to complete the repair. They realized there were additional problems with the machine and that the cost of the additional repairs would exceed the price of a new machine. A recommendation was made for a new machine and EAS waived the service fee as they missed some of the issues on the initial visit.

They came out to give us an estimate on the repair of our oven. They diagnosed the problem accurately, but we thought that the price they gave us, $589.00, was extrememely over-priced. They charged us $59.00 for this estimate and refused to honor the 10% off coupon they were offering at the time through Angie's List.

On April Fool's Day, my refrigerator decided to stop running. No joke. I noticed that it clicked an excessive amount upon starting up, and then there was very strong, unpleasant (almost burning) odor that filled the kitchen. I called Expert Appliance Services to ask what they thought the problem was (which he correctly diagnosed from my description as an issue with the relay), how much a service call cost, and if they could come out that same day. He was able to come out just a few hours after I called, so I scheduled the service. As promised, he called about 30 minutes prior to arrival, found the issue (which was what he thought it was), and had the part in his van so was able to fix immediately. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and personable. The work was completed quickly and he even answered some additional questions I had about a separate fridge. I as pleased with this company and would use them again in the future.

Mr Pant was exceptional. He was very professional, efficient, personable and knowledgeable. He finished his other job early and called to ask if it was alright with me if he came a little early. I was very pleased and appreciated the call. He has a wonderful smile and a very positive outlook . I called Sears first because the appliance was purchased from them. They offered me the opportunity to purchase a warranty that would cover the price of the replacement plus anything that happened to the appliance for a year. Their price was $320 and the first appointment was next week . I checked their reviews and they were very poor! Mr. Pant returned my call immediately and scheduled me for two days later. He is a wonderful example of the excellent providers on Angie's List! I will recommend him to everyone who needs appliance repair! Thank you Mr Pant! Thank you Angie's List!!

Actually came 1 1/2 hrs before promised time after calling to make sure it was OK. Refrigerator items were all still cool or frozen and refrigerator was fixed in 15 minutes!!!

He was very polite the entire time and I will definitely use them again if I have an appliance that needs repairing.

So hard to get them to come and do the service! I called again and made an appointment for service again; that one was postponed due to snow to the next day. They never came or called to reschedule. I called to reschedule to a new date; they were to call back and now, weeks later, I have never heard from them. They either can't or won't do this work; whichever, I don't want them back.

Mr. Pant brought shoe covers like the ones worn in surgery to prevent dirtying my floor. In addition he brought plastic sliders to roll the refrigerator out without scraping the floor. He guessed that the problem was with one of two control boards. He had suspected this was the problem and he had a spare with him. Indeed, as soon as he replaced the control board, the refrigerator came on. I appreciated that Mr. Pant called in advance to let me know he was on his way. He seemed very organized and prepared. I would definitely call on him again should I have trouble with other appliances.

I called and left a message asking for an appointment. The call was returned within 15 minutes. I made an appointment for the next day. The next day they called half an hour prior to arrival. After checking another possible cause of not spinning, PJ said that it was the connection and gave me a price. As the washing machine was at least 15 years old, I was concerned about fixing it, but he assured me that it still had another 10-15 years of life left in it. He had the connection piece with him, so he changed while my husband was watching. PJ explained what had happened and showed him the worn out piece. After he completed the repair, he took time to show me what to look for in case the washing machine does not spin again. Will use them again as they were quick, efficient, and timely.

Our dryer element burned out. We had our Home warranty out for a service call and they determined it was burned out due to excess lint build up. Of course, the home warranty wouldn't cover the repair and it took them 2 weeks to determine that. Needless to say we were in dire need for our dryer to be repaired. Once they notified us that they would not cover the repair we opted to use a different repair company. I called Expert Appliance Services and told him my saga. He asked for the model number and verified they had the part on hand. The technician was at my house 4 hours later and the dryer was repaired in under an hour.

Excellent. Drum had worked itself loose, so it just needed to be secured. Repairman cautioned us on not overloading the machine. He was very friendly and helpful.

Expert Appliance Services provided us with a convenient weekend appointment. They showed up on time; wasted no time getting to work and quickly identified the problem, fixed it, and were done in five minutes (power connector to the drain pump had come dislodged). Showed me what to do if it ever happened again. $50 service charge was worth every penny.

They called before they arrived, were clean, and very professional.

Called them on Sunday, they came early Monday morning which was fine with us. Repair man replaced a relay and recharged the compressor.

Expert Appliance was outstanding. I had used another vendor on Angie's List that proved quite poor: (1) pricing logic was inconsistent between the head office and the technician; (2) office was highly unprofessional in their communication; and (3) Expert Appliance demonstrated that their price was high. My experience with Expert Appliance was diametrically opposite: (1) price quote was clear and logical; (2) Pankaj was a consummate professional, direct and clear, and yet warm and friendly; and (3) the price was better than what I had been quoted before. I will definitely use Expert Appliance for future issues and highly recommend this company.

We woke up one morning to find everything frozen in our refrigerator. After we left it open a bit and turned down the temperature it seemed to be working again with no problems. Then about 2 weeks later the water dispenser stopped working, So we found Expert Appliance Services on Angie's list and contacted them via email and they were very quick to respond, even when we had to reschedule the appointment, the repairman responded back very quickly. When he came to our house he was very courteous and once he identified the issue he did a very good job explaining what the problem was and then fix it very quickly. I highly recommend Expert Appliance Services!

He debugged the problem quickly, determined it was a part that was more expensive than buying a new unit. He indicated that the part has a problemhistory and recommended we replace the unit. He was courteous, friendly and most importantly efficient and honest.
